Logs
Arrived in Albany this afternoon and thought wed come out to collect a couple of caches before calling it a day. The log on this one is wet so Ive put a new log in a plastic bag into the existing container.
An easy find at a lovely spot. The logbook is sopping wet tough; I signed with my RITR pen.TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 13:30. Thanks for bringing us here for the views and the purple hardenbergia. Unfortunately the log book is sodden and needs to be replaced. We could just make our mar. Replaced it upside down as the lid has a hole in it. Our thanks to jamesknowlson.
We spotted this on approach and parked very close by. Cache was logged and placed back where it should be. Nice construction.
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we drove from Albany to Walpole today. Before we drove to Walpole we first visited a few caches near Albany. This cache was found.**jamesknowlson**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. Today we are driving from Albany to Walpole. Not a long drive so in the morning we have a nice walk on part of the Bibbulmun Track. We walk from Frenchman Bay to Sandy Beach. Nice green area and the weather is splendid. But first we had a look at Black Swan Point. Nice spot! The rocking cache was found quickly. Thank you very much for this cache.
Came to this one the other day and looked like there was a family camped here in their car so decided to give it a miss, came back today, no cars in the carpark so a nice quick find thanks to a good hint!Another day out exploring Albany and all it has to offer! So much to see and do, what a magical place with so many geocaches to top it off! Thank you jamesknowlson for placing and maintaining Black Swan Point for us and others to find and enjoy!
The wind was up, so the place was full of kite surfers, so we could not have a real close look. Will come back another time.
Awesome. Got distracted by the kitesurfers and was looking too close to the water. TFTC
There's no sign in sheet, the container was half full of water and possibly needs replacing. Site hadn't been muggled just in need of some TLC. I wrote my log before I opened the container
In Albany for a conference on the weekend. I was coming back into town after a successful orchiding search just on sunset when I thought I would see if there was a cache close by. This was basically just across the road and it was a quick walk straight to the cache. The hint helped it to be quick! As others have said the cache is there but the lid has a hole and so the log paper is wet and just tore when I tried to write on it. Thanks for the cache.
Hi all, Ive recently (relative to when this cache was placed) moved to Perth for university. Ill be down in about 4 weeks and will sort out this cache. I believe the cache is definitely still there however log book etc struggling a little. So still go hunting!!! Cheers, James
Found after crossing the Nullabor and heading down to Esperance and Albany on our way around the SW coast. Spent two nights in Albany to look around this very picturesque town with the main aim to find WA's oldest cache, and picking up other caches along the way. We called in here for lunch only to dicover there was a cache just a few metres from where we parked our car. Thanks for the cache jamesknowlson!
Damaged cache so couldnt add any trinkets. Kids enjoyed a good Hunter with this one
Quick find but went in from the wrong side and the log is wet and cache needs a new container but a very good hide! TFTC!!!
We found this today rock was off lid was off and waterlogged we put a new bit of paper in and resealed and hid again
Easy find. No log book to sign it. It is wet inside as well. Also there no travel bug.
Thank you James. It took us some searching but we found our first cache. Thank you.
On our trip around southwest WA we also found that one quick. Tftc and greetings from Switzerland. Swisscachefan

*Another geocaching adventure with woolwood9.*
*We visited many good caches and trails on our trip and had a lot of fun!*
Some showers of rain today but lots of fine weather otherwise.
Really appreciate the cache owners effort putting this container out.
We soon located the hide.
All logs stamped: *tm/ww NZ*
Could do with a cache owner visit to return it to good condition. Lid with a hole, full of ants and doesn't go back as it would have!
