Stopped by enroute to Gippsland. Given the D rating, the previous DNFs, and the elapsed time since the last find, I wasn't particularly hopeful. Spent about 10 mins on a lovely sunny winter afternoon but left empty handed.

Didnt find it! Visited here this evening to search for this cache. We didnt have any luck after about 20 minutes of looking. We gave up as the light was fading quickly after the sunset. Anyway thanks for the cache. May come past another time for another search.

Thankfully found without spending too much time looking, it's very cold here today but of course it is winter.

Approaching from the north we abandoned the car when the road ended then set out on foot first via a track then a concrete path until we came across the sports ground and then headed straight to the GZ. After a few minutes of searching we located the cache before heading back to the dry warmth of our car.

Cache found after doing a circuit of the trees. Still hanging securely in place.

Great spot cache could do with a seal but the log is singable on account of water resistant paper. Tftc

Thanks for the Cache jaktembo, though a local I hadn't been down this side of Launch before, I wondered about down behind the embankment, reminded me of the days at school when I would talk with my mates as they chain smoked their lunch break away. I found the Cache in Good condition and hung out with it for a while.

Thanks! Took a little bit to spot it but it was in the expected tree. Log was jammed but luckily I had a 6yo Geokid with tiny fingers with me. She stuck a finger in and out it came! TFTC

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the English language. It is a medical condition, called Pneumoconiosis that is specifically caused by inhalation of very fine silicate or quartz dust. The challenge today was to find a cache with the first letter of each cache title to match each letter in this word. Why would I do this? Well, because there is a challenge of course (see GC5EWGV, Scrabble Challenge-Beckworth Beckons).
So, a LOT of planning went into this day. You see, there are 45 letters in this word alone, which meant identifying 45 different caches that I would have to find, one each starting with each of these letters, aacccccceiiiiiilllmmnnnnooooooooopprrsssstuuv. That’s 14 different letters and just for good measure, I identified a bonus cache for each letter, for when the inevitable DNFs were to happen. Which means there were now 59 caches on my list for the day, spread out from Maryknoll, to Berwick, Cranbourne, Lysterfield, Lilydale, Woori Yallock and then into the Dandenongs. I expected it to take me most of the day but in the end, because of 9 DNFs and a number of times where I had to hastily look for other options, I only finished it with minutes to spare before midnight.

The letter I looked to be one of the easier ones as although there were 6 required, there are plenty of I caches around, but in the end, with 2 DNFs on I caches, it was the toughest one of them all and would see me looking for I caches well into the night.

After doing the previous one, and given the name of this one, I thought I knew what I was looking for. Nope. Tricky!!! - Anyway, I got lucky as I am usually bad at finding these ones and had it in hand within a few minutes. TFTC!

I left early this Sunday morning for a caching run. It was still dark with the gorgeous full moon thinking about setting and the pre-dawn light show thinking about starting. The only thing that spoilt this lovely start to the morning was the thickening fog.

This one could have taken longer, but I just spotted it from correct angle. After signing the log, ut was up onto the "football" oval and back to the car.

Thanks for the cache jaktembo

It was going to be cracking weather in Victoria today so we decided to head out bush and enjoy some caching in the sun.

The sun definitely has a bite in it today already. Found this one and got attacked by a blackberry on the way out.

Thanks jaktembo for the cache.

Out with Omegaman1971 to do a few caches in the area, felt good to be caching in My old stomping ground. It was a warm day for it and we enjoyed the drive around in the Yarra Valley.

This was one of the caches we found today. I was expecting some more nice work but this one was just a bison.

Thanks jaktembo for the cache.

Finally made it to my Friday off and no lockdown, a little bit of essential shopping and finally I have some shorts without the bum out of them Wink
And then it's time for a drive and a cache, 24 km from home. A nice walk around the oval for a straight forward find.
Cache logged with sanitised hands.
**Thanks for placing this cache jaktembo**

I should have grabbed my non-tinted glasses. I spent quite a few minutes here looking for the cache under the cover of branches. Every now and again we'd here a WHACK from the cricket pitch and turn around in case a ball was about to come flying down the embankment! (thankfully no, the coach was on the boundary line to help retrieve balls and keep the game moving along). Eventually I positioned myself at a certain angle and the cache revealed itself like dogs proverbials.

Thanks Jaktembo for the hunt!

We found this cache today at 4:25pm. It turned out as we arrived that we each had a different cache that we were aiming at. We chose #2 first and HA eventually spotted it. Thanks from D & HA B-A.

A half hour to kill in the area before picking up a cat enclosure, so a quick look on Cachly for any unfounds in the area. Woohoo! Two, wait... oh... one! Anyhoo, headed over and got near gz and thought this is going to be a needle in a haystack. But nope. I spotted the sneaky bugger straight away. Phew.
Will be back eventually for the other once re-enabled.
Cheers jaktembo

My Apple Maps must have been talking to The Welder's Google Navigator from a few months back, as this afternoon I found myself also wandering up what appeared to be some kind of garden path...

To be honest at first I thought I was driving up someone's driveway, but then realised that wasn't exactly the case and found myself a legit spot to park, before wandering along and up the aforementioned path of sorts, winding through the trees, around a corner and out into the open, past a field with some fairly tiny ponies, and finally up to the corner of the reserve where GZ was to be had.

A reference to thematic colouration of the bison turned out to be spot-on, and yet I still took several minutes to find it, though pretty much spot-on co-ordinates definitely made the job easier.

With cache in hand I signed the log and visited a trackable, before heading off in search of the next treasure. Thanks for the hunt, jaktembo.

Dropped geopartner off to vote and seeing as I'd already done my duty what better thing to do on a glorious autumn morning than nick round the corner for a ramble with geomutt and a quick find

Evening out with Gunks for some short walk caching. Couple along the Warby trail and a couple more at Launching Place. Hanging in trees are not my favourite. I seem to have a blindness when it comes to them. Can't believe I didn't spot this one quickly though. TFTC

I also don't like cricket, I really loooove it!!!
So the name of this cache caught my attention immediately. I put paid to making the finishing touches to this week's BBL Supercoach team, and instead made plans for venturing out to the greener pastures of Launching Place once my workday concluded.
It was a gorgeous drive despite the steady traffic, and all the while I imagined a few other more local hunters would be arriving long before myself.
My Google navigator took me up the garden path and I looked around wondering where I was... But the garden path was exactly where I needed to be!
I emerged in a quiet corner of the reserve, and as I scaled the rise, I discovered I had the picturesque scene to myself. But as I wandered down to GZ, cars began arriving into the main carpark...
A brief investigation quickly revealed the cache. A bold thematic choice of colour, I must say! But I thought I'd wait for the few moments for a rapidly approaching hunter to sign in with me. As I sat on the bank and waited, it soon turned out to be a muggle taking their dogs out to chase balls. And the enthusiasm of these energetic canines ensured that these balls wouldn't get lost!
When the coast was clear, I returned to GZ and made my mark in 'new ball' red ink, then headed back to the car and on to Warby for a serving of unlove.

Thanks so much, jaktembo!
