We're over in Churchill collecting a few geocaches to help with the current souvenir challenge. M parked at the intersection and I trotted down to GZ where a short search soon found the container. Another pleasantly easy find today. Thanks for find #6365TNLN
After a day in the valley, it was time to do some caching. Another cache for us in the LV event series. A neat and quick little find but log book is all soaked and wet and needs to be replaced. TFTC SKI pair.#128
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 149Sidetracked Cache Finds: 117I finally attempted the Winston Wander and The LV event series that I had heard so much about, and it did not disappoint. I loved the variety of different containers and camouflage methods used. Most of the GZs were deserted due to the school holidays, but there were still a few muggles to deal with. Cheers for the cache

Day two of a short trip into Gippsland with the deadly treadly for some caches. This morning I started in Morwell at the Crinigan Bushland Reserve.I then went to Churchill and rode the loop of the LV Event caches and some of the Winston Wander Extension caches.A nice ride around on a mild day.Just sneaked around the corner for this hide. Thanks, Robmc.
On a sneaky midweek getaway we stopped to grab some caches this was a nice easy one and a good spot to stretch the legs, thanks for placing this cache
Tftc Ski Pair. Another 45 or so minutes free to spend caching while grandkid at the Leisure Centre playing volleyball. After last week's 5 of 5, this week it was 4 of 4 inc. 2 with said grandkid afterwards.
Quick find, cache and log in good condition.

What an amazing view not where we initially expected it to be good thing no coffees were wagered. Megmacca had this in her had after I pointed out a nice looking GZ.
There really is Tupperware in the bush!
A couple of drop of condensation inside but otherwise ok.
TFTC a very easy find.

Hi there SKI Pair, we found your cache LV Event: 'Don't Do The Bus Stop!' today.
We’re staying in Churchill for a while before heading to the “big smoke” so Penny can get a new knee.
A nice, quick, find while touring around the area close to where we are camped. We really did find Tupperware in the bush.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log are in good shape.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Catching up on old logs. Found some time ago initiating a muggle friend into caching
Found it while heart pumping as huge dog nearby came to investigate what I was up to and barked until I left. Log a bit soggy. Sorry would have put in waterproof bag but just happy to leave. Tftc
Out on a maintenance run today after returning from travel.
Dried out the container.
Waterproof paper holding up well.

I spent a few minutes looking in the wrong hiding place, but eventually found the obvious hide. Good to tackle the last stages of this trail today! TFTC
Made our way to the Valley today for a caching day out. Parked at the corner and walked down to this one. GPS took a while to settle and we had to back track slightly to eventually make the find.
Thanks SKI Pair
Thanks SKI Pair
Quick easy find after reading some of the other logs but gps for this one was fairly accurate tftc
I did not find this cache because I was definitely at work. That's not even my signature in the log. And I definitely wasn't on my way to a massage in Boolarra during work hours. Nope. Not me. Some other Mummy Short Legs. TFTC SKI Pair
Out chasing wonders, I missed this one when the event was on. I do the bus stop all day long. Thanks Ski Pair for the cache.
At a job in Traralgon and knew I would be finished at 1pm so I asked my niece if she wanted to go Geocaching as we haven’t done any caches since COVID started back in March.
Quick find stamped log thanks for the cache.
Quick find stamped log thanks for the cache.
Late logging some finds pre-lockdown 2.0! We managed to find these at the end of July, a great run of caches for a quick pull over and get. This one had the boys running in all directions as it took awhile for the GPS to settle, but once it did we had it in our sights quickly. Tftc
It's been a while but got out and about today with the bestie to log some caches. It pays to read the info before getting stuck into finding. Found before long. Tyftc
Put my gloves on for this one didnt know whether to hunt high or low, gps slightly out but found with relatively geo-ease, left a bit of 'Hope'
My GPSwas a bit off here but a quick look arround and I had the cache in my hands.

We are enjoying a long awaited caching weekend away. Our research suggest there were some pretty good caches down this way. Today the plan was to hit up Churchill. These caches led us nicely into town. Thanks for showing the way. The long green grass is a sight for sore eyes. Forgotten what it looked like. Tftc
Parked near the main road, and walked to the hide.
Tried the wrong side of the first, before making the find.
My phone/GPS is not helping me today
Out caching with Sharon14
Thank you for the hide SKI Pair

The cows were keeping a watchful eye here, our smallest geokid made a easy find here of a nice old school container. We added some swag for the next geokids.

Was in the area so l thought l should finish this series found quickly signed and replaced...TFTC
Took the drive to Churchill today to see if we could lessen the number of unfound caches we had there. After 3 hours, we had put a big dent in the numbers and converted them to smiley faces. Not one DNF today from all we found, which we're happy with.
Thanks to the CO for this placement.

I thought maybe my GPS was playing up but trusted it and found the cache in an unexpected location.

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
I’m currently working on a Project-GC challenge to get the average word count on my logs over 200 words.
So please ignore the rest of this log as it is just nonsense and song lyrics.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, and if she had to die
Tryin' she, had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well, It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could hear the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' on the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful, when
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
Well I'm a-runnin' down the road try'n to loosen my load
I've got seven women on my mind
Four that want to own me, two that want to stone me
One says she's a friend of mine
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy
Lighten up while you still can
Don't even try to understand
Just find a place to make your stand, and take it easy
Well, I'm a standin' on a corner in Winslow, Arizona
Such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford
Slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
We may lose and we may win, though we will never be here again
So open up I'm climbin' in, so take it easy
Well, I'm a runnin' down the road tryin' to loosen my load
Got a world of trouble on my mind
Lookin' for a lover who won't blow my cover, she's so hard to find
Take it easy, take it easy
Don't let the sound of your own wheels make you crazy
Come on baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is gonna save me
Oh, we got it easy
We oughta take it easy
Thanks

Had a spare hour after work.
I decided to go and find some local caches.
No cows today just a few bull ants to contend with.
A quick find was made and the log book was duly signed.
Scrat visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Yay - found Don't Do The Bus Stop this afternoon . What a great view from GZ! And I had a cow serenade me while I signed the log. A great place to visit after a noisy afternoon at work. UUMMMMmmmm - just wondering how much Tupperware is left in the house? The cupboards seem to have had a bit of a clean out . Thanks SKI Pair for setting this one up for the LV Event.

With a morning of freedom I decided to find as many of this series as I could and, to show my true dedication, I did it straight after a gym workout, in rain showers and 14 degrees!
Had to skip the one before this coz of a muggle motorbike in the adjacent property eyeing me off. Here there were certainly no muggles and no rain! However as I signed the log I had a very disgruntled cow make its position known behind me! Had to snort with laughter, it was so unexpected in the peace and quiet! TFTC

Checked out the usual location. There was a mobile user parked near GZ - it is easy to jump to conclusions! Then techecked the phone - a short walk and bingo!
This cache has a lovely view of the valley.
Thanks SKI Pair.

Catching up with late logs
We had set aside a few days to explore Gippsland with alansee endeavoring to aid him reaching 30,000 finds before the Queanbeyan mega event at Easter.
We visited rail trails, parks, mountains seeing beautiful scenery along the way as well as enjoying some lovely walks as well as some easy drive bys. The weather was mostly kind to us enabling us to search for the caches in comfort.
This mini series was definitely on our list of caches to look for today and we enjoyed picking them all up on some nice country roads.
Thanks SKI Pair for the cache.

Found with Team Crackers today. Cache was found easily. A funny thing happened here today. We had found the cache and were signing it when I made a comment that earned me a clip over the ear from Mrs C. We were both laughing wen we saw a farmer walking past not far away. Don't know what he thought!
Fortunately we weren’t looking for this one on a really hot day. Lots of sticks and hiding place for creepy crawlies. Thanks for the cache

With +Wife taking the GeoMutts for a swim up at Yarradoon, I would be stranded.
Luckily for me she would be joined by her Muggle Mates, Pam & Judy.
I borrowed Pam's car and headed out from home at 11:00 am, knowing that I had a 4:30 appointment in Burwood.
As I neared GZ the fuel light came on but I took a chance and headed here first.
Parking nearby I observed the farmer in the neighboring property moving about in the house yard.
Being careful to search without being observed by him or the few passing cars, the cache was soon located.
There is nothing better than finding *Tupperware in the bush*, except of course when you manage to be the first to find. [^]
- - -
Next stop the nearest servo to top up Pam's tank and a shady tree in the pub car park for some lunch.
It was then a short drive over to Loy Yang for a Mystery Cache towards the nearby Challenge Cache. [?]
Then a bee line to Burwood, with 15 minutes to spare.
- - -
After my appointment I arranged to meet the girls at Judy's home and swap into the GeoPrado for the final leg of my day.
Thank you for placing this cache, SKI Pair.
Thanks also to the muggle that enabled this opportunity for me.
We missed out on the other new caches nearby even though we were at your event.

Another new cache, I searched 15 meters around, but found nothing. Either this is way more difficult than a 2 or there is a problem with the coordinates.
Apologies to all concerned. This one has been muggled, possibly before it was even published!
We have replaced it today, hopefully a little more difficult to spot, but in the same place.
We will see how it goes and relocate if necessary

After reading the 3 previous DNF logs we were unsure, but quietly optimistic, of our chances here. We searched and searched, widened our search, checked in even the unlikeliest spots and eventually had to admit defeat. With the sun starting to dip low in the sky it was time to head for home after an enjoyable afternoon.
I was on an FTF role but no joy here, bark everywhere and no cache could I find.
Our hopes of FTF glory were thwarted as we endeavoured to bark up every tree imaginable... No glory was to be had as with bowed head, three geocachers trudged back to the car...
