Found at 12:22 pm with Olga and Yessi on a trip to pick up our camper in Melbourne
Nice to find such and old cache in great condition. I was enjoying a mint when I found the cache and I had a little chuckle to myself. Thank you maccamob for placing and maintaining Danny Boy for us to find today.
Nice side quest on the way to a shop to buy a mattress. Lots of history around here.
Went on an adventure this side of town specifically to pick up this cache due to its age. Had a lovey walk down the river and a nice explore around the area. Interesting place. Thanks for keeping this golden oldie alive!
This one gets a favourite point for the name alone. We have visited this Park with our son and grandson on previous occasions and they were with us today as well as their dog, Frankie. She (the dog) loves to run in the off-leash park across the river. SL at 12.11pm and found the container was large enough to leave one of our new harrows pathtags. Very happy to add this old cache to our smiley faces on our map at last! #11,180 TFTC maccamob
At gz I thought this will take a while, but it was the first place I looked.Find number 8957 on 3 August 2024. Traditional CacheThanks For The Cache
Took a while to figure out where the cache was, but once I got to the GZ it was a quick find. The camera came in clutch yet again!TFTC
26 May 2024 5:04 pmCaching buddy: Yin~YangNice little peaceful find on a Sunday afternoon Thank you maccamob for placing and maintaining this cache. I've enjoyed finding it. Tftc
First spot I looked. Nice to occasionally have some luck! Thank you for the hide is this wonderful park
Really good find but I wasnt sure if it was the right one. There is another black box that you cant open that fits all the clues
Found it! But didn't have a pen or pencil to log it. Thought I'd log it here to reassure everyone that it is there to be found. Bring a pen!
The snuggle muggle and I were in the general area today for a mate's daughter's first birthday and after the party came to an end we thought the weather was too beautiful to not get out and enjoy. So we decided to go for a nice walk in [Pipemakers Park](https://www.maribyrnong.vic.gov.au/Park/Pipemakers-Park). Of course, as we were out walking around, my curiosity got the best of me and so I had a quick look at [Cachly](https://www.cachly.com/) to see if there were any caches around. Well that is when I spotted this **2002** cache!*"A 2002 cache!"* I exclaimed. The snuggle muggle already knew what I was going to asked and agreed to let me go attempt to try and find it. So we altered our walking course and headed to GZ. We were both actually very glad I did, as the gardens around GZ were just gorgeous. We loved walking around exploring the greek inspired architecture and the gardens around GZ. Of course, I knew I couldn't be too distracted, as a 2002 cache is too rare to miss. Lucky for me it was a nice quick search before the well camouflaged cache was found and the logbook signed. Finding a cache is always fun, but finding a rare **2002**, even better! It is always an amazing feeling finding a **2002** cache, and for keeping this cache around for 20+ years, it of course earns a favourite point from me!A huge thanks goes to the amazing [maccamob](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=a50e4bd2-6d69-4af7-a203-19897cf3814b&wid=1fef62e9-094a-439b-8c84-fde3e144bbc4&ds=2) duo for keeping this one alive for all these years. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in good shape and the camouflage made it blend in so well. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Me and my mum came here with high hopes what a beautiful area looked for about 1/2 an hour, sadly couldnt find maybe not there since last two logs were DNF.
Checked very structure with no luck. Give the last log said the same I think its due for a maintenance check
This hide made me angry but I finally found it. I was looking under the wrong structure for ages. Glad I found it finally, turning my blue frown upside down! TFTC Maccamob
A perfectly challenging cache for us here. Started our search slightly off but eventually found it. TFTC!!
Thanks maccamob for a great cache in a stunningly beautiful park, looked for a while before putting my hands on it… little happy dance! Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache! Happy trails from Deanside
Dànaidh gille, indeed.
Bha a' phìob a' glaodhaich.
O ghleann gu gleann, 's sios ri taobh nam beann.
Tha 'n samhradh air falbh, 's gach ròs a' tuiteam,
Is tusa a th’ ann, feumaidh tu falbh agus feumaidh mi bid.
Ah, that language reminds me of a famous High Court case in which this language was not considered to be a European language as defined by the Immigration Act 1901.
But I digress. It was a wonderful day to be out and about caching, and finding a maccamob cache that has reached its majority was a bonus.
Thank you for this Traditional cache maccamob and for being such diligent COs. A favourite point from us, we love this slightly unruly industrial garden.

Looked for a while, went and did the adventure lab, came back and still couldn't find it
So pleased to make this find. We had found it years ago but that was before we took notes. I love the older caches. Thank you for placing this one and maintaining it for so long.
Quite a warm day & I stubbornly decided to walk to Pipemakers Park to get a couple of caches & do the AL. It was so hot I had to Uber home as I didn’t have time to look for them all. Oh Danny Boy I took far too long in the heat. Tftc
YAPIDKA! Fab spot. On a merry mighty multi mission that includes this LGA. Good reason to explore marvellous Melbs and it’s many parks. Nice spot for the adjacent neighbourhood. TFTC and the fun!
Great little spot! This is a terrific park. It's been ages since I was part here, literally decades so is a real treat visiting again. Easy find, coordinates spot on, signed our name and onto the next one. Lovely quiet day and nice and cool after the hot weather we've been having. Thanks so much for the cache
Quick find in a lovely park, and I can even combine this with birdwatching, what a bonus.
Nice hide. TFTC

We are staying in Wyndham Vale for a couple of days.

Great hide .Mac ambo. Love the additional modifications, very clever and handy. Found on a very wet Melbourne day but was great because there wasn’t a muggle in site. TFTC. Mozzies were very hungry today too. Fabulous park to visit. So much to see here. Thank you for bringing me here today.
Another lovely maccamob cache in another fascinating location. There are so many places that i have not explored but geocaching is showing me, just brilliant.
I headed out to Highpoint today and the obvious overhead helicopter activity pointed to the well-publicized flooding issues on the river. Most of the access roads in the area were closed but Pipemaker's Park was open, so I headed there.
After doing the nearby lab cache I noticed this older GC6 - how did I miss this one when I did all the Parkville Mega caches around here?!
Well, today it was an easy affair. Well, sort of easy - the river had flooded and reached GZ, fortunately peaked about 10cm below the container. While the cache notes state that this (20-plus-years-old-) cache is near the river, today the river literally was at the cache for a few hours.
The hint was a great help here.
While I was in the area the floodline was visibly receding, although the flow rate in the middle was frighteningly fast.
Tomorrow's parkrun here has obviously been cancelled. Well, they introduced parkwalk last week so we could well start a parkswim here this week...
Thanks, maccamob.

Visiting Melbourne from Northern vic. Stayed in Williamstown at my muggle sister. Geogirl enjoyed exploring the gardens and nearby playground. Loved reading about the history of pipework Park. Cache and log in good order. Tftc

The hint was very useful - found it! We love this little garden and have been here many times before we started geocaching- a nice new surprise in a familiar place
A recent log prompted us to call in today for a cache check. Located the container and log ok, but decided a different container would be more suitable. Replaced container and log . No coordinate change necessary.
Didn’t find this one earlier today unfortunately. Turned one muggle to a geocacher! Asked what we were doing, told him about the app. He downloaded! TFTC
Found container and log separately out in the open. Signed and hid out of site but not sure where they should have been !!
The pipes, the pipes are calling! I didn’t get it until I got here, and it made me smile. The cache was soon found in a logical spot. Thanks maccamob for maintaining this one for nigh on 20 years.
Here with dalerious on a Melbourne Mystical tour.
This little cache is so important to us cachers who undertake challenge caches.
We are so grateful to dedicated CO's like you M&D, who not only provide them, but most importantly keep them in play for future players of this awesome game.
The history of this site is kept alive and melds in complimentary with it's modern use for all to enjoy.
Apart from my phone showing a variance between gz and where the container actually was, all was good.
Thank you maccamob for the pleasure.

This time I was successful, looked in the same place about 6 months ago so thanks for the replacement. Glad about finding it as it's a 7km return walk to just get this one today. Car wouldn't start, but happy to walk.
