After a FTF north side, I was looking for some caching I could do before heading to the event in the CBD. The caches along this back road to Sutton looked good for the short time I had and were not to much out of the way.Quick find, nice cache, all in good order. Thank you ALL7 for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Reperio 14:17Day 5 of our Capital GeoBash mega event trip to Canberra with Miss Vitruvius, and today it was time to head home, but not before finding plenty of caches. We decided to line up the caches around the Sutton area, which had plenty of high DT caches, and plenty of easier ones as well. This one was one of the nicer easier drive by finds today.Gratias ALL7As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Caching with a crew from WA and signing WAC on logs. After a morning at the gadgets and labs, we headed out of the city. We had hoped to hit big numbers but instead we hit big terrain; way worse than expected. Thankful for the assistance from others in terms of ladder and pole use. A tiring day but one for which I am grateful. Thanks for this
A couple of massive days of caching. We are a group from WA so are signing logs WAC as the WACrew. Please excuse dates as its been tough keeping track of online logs in order. Thanks for this hide. Its been fun so far.
Found it First time caches in Canberra areaBeautiful country nice drive Weather awesome With Deaf team Thank you
Over here for Capital GeoBash Mega. And celebrating my milestone of 1000 finds somewhere today. Just want to find many hidden caches all over the city and surrounds before Mega Day. Went with deaf group of geocachers as WACDG, TFTC
Out and about with Burns345 Geotrakka and Neva2Old on this beautiful sunny Canberra day. Logs signed as WA6 and JAR.Apologies for the generic logs as we were on a mission working with JAR along these tracks!Cache found with no issues. Cheers
Out caching today with friends. 3 of us having a fun time each trying to be the first to get a hold of the cache. We signed as team JAR to save log room. Joojoo57, Aussie Liahona and RichmondLad. Many thanks to all the COs who hid the caches we found today for ensuring this was a great caching day while we were attending the MEGA.Today we found a number of caches with team WA6 as we could contribute a ladder and they could contribute a climber and we could help each other with our different skills and equipment. Cheers and happy caching!
Today is the first of a couple of visits to the Sutton area and the surrounding countryside. We cached as Team JAR and even met up with WA6 along the way and combined our TOTTs and enthusiasm to spot the caches - especially the pole ones. Thanks to the COs.
Day 2 of my Canberra Mega adventure. A brisk start to the day, but the day is looking good. Out and about with some other West Aussie teams and very happy to claim a smiley here . Some logs signed as N2O or WA6This is my 12525 find Thankyou ALL7for placing and maintaining this cache.
Over here for Canberra Mega from Western Australia picking up caches. TFTC logged as WA6 (Geotrakka Meme28 Burns345 and Neva2old)
Caching in Canberra with friends before the MEGA begins. My first ever visit to this area. We are signing logs as 5 for QLD. and concentrated on Sutton Road Power Trail and then a few others that popped up.All logs signed and replaced as found. TFTC
It was an early morning start of challenge caches and then a morning CITO in a park. Next it was a couple of tunnel caches before a discussion of what was next on the list for today. I then managed to agree to work in with the Queensland 5 and collect caches in the Sutton area. We started off in Sutton however there is no going past a good pie shop and this one even had a cache just near it. Yep lunch and a time to work on those target caches of the area. logs were signed and caches replaced as found, a very interesting area, thanks for the hides and bringing me up here. There is a nice trail and a very easy road to follow for these caches so the aim was to get as many as possible on the way. I think this will also play with my OCD of not finishing series, which I hate to leave unfinished. A return trip or some late night planning is on the cards here. OH how to mess with peoples heads, lol.
Enjoying the pre Mega couple of days out in the countryside with our group, RoddyC, hatzofff, grannysmith1947, and Imbunda. To save space on the logs, we have signed as 5 for QLD.All caches found today were in good condition and a credit to the cache owners who placed and maintained them for our benefit ??
Out and about after the CITO and a couple of drains.Caching with and signing as the group '5 for QLD' and having a great day.TFTCache ALL7
We've arrived a few days early for the [Capital GeoBash](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9PNFB_capital-geobash) and headed out after dinner tonight to grab a few caches while we had some spare time. After the 3rd time someone stopped to ask if we were ok, we decided to call it a night and head home again. Thanks for find #5809TNLN
Another day spent Pre-Mega geocaching. Today we are chasing caches along Sutton Road north of the town and across to Murrumbateman and down. Log sheets as "5 for QLD" to save space and time. Good, a quick find. Log signed and cache replaced as found on March 24, 2024. TFTC, ALL7
Lovely day out picking up some caches to get to 50. Quick stop to get this one, views are majestic. Tftc ALL7
A drive just out of Canberra on the Northside today and we found this one after parking very close by.Thanks ALL7 Domsky
After the busy (and wet) summer had finished, The Rats floated the idea of a trip to the area around Canberra and Yass with Steeba and myself. We compared diaries, and had a two day mid-week window where we could make things happen, in the week wedged between Easter and ANZAC Day.
The weather was on our side for the first time in I forget how long, and we were able to make the most of our time opportunity.
A lot of excellent caches were found, and some fantastic terrain caches too. A few power trails, some crafty hides, some hard hides, and even some climbs that I could not do... even with our ladder!
Thank you to all of the cache owners for placing their hides. This boiler plate log does not reflect the quality of the hides. Most importantly thanks as always to my two great caching mates for their company!
Cheers

The Rats, Hoojar and myself teamed up for an assault in and around the Yass area for a couple of days- a most enjoyable caching trip with my mates. Plenty of power trail type finds but a lot of great variety here and there, particularly around Yass itself. We started off on Wednesday night and finished up Friday afternoon. TFTC!
The Gong Gangsters (steeba, Hoojar and The Rats) took advantage of an extended Easter / Anzac break to head out for another caching juggernaut through the Southern Highlands and Yass regions. Blessed with beautiful weather we targeted a few powertrails and high D/T rated caches.
After 2 full days we'd collected a plethora of finds, made some new friends, laughed alot, pushed our bodies beyond the comfortable level and most of all - had a great time with mates. Thanks to all the CO's for your caches and those who tagged along.

Decided to finish up a little early at work today and go for a drive to collect these caches whilst the road is less busy.
Another quick easy find. On to the next one.

I went a searchin' a cache t'day,
I looked and looked for that cache t'day,
A mystery did I say,
A mystery I did not find t'day
I did not find it in the bush,
I did not find it in the tree,
By this time I was starting to ponder,
could it be over yonder?
So off I went trudging over there,
but I could not find it anywhere.

**Cache Condition:** Good and dry.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.

With CIH we signed the log in either our names or our initials in some switcheroo form of LP, DJJ, ToC and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Panther* and *DustyJapserJet* on a much welcome and overdue camping trip for a few days at one of our much liked locations in *Gundaroo,* and tackling a couple of power trails and caches in *Canberra*. Totally enjoyed ourselves getting a better look at *Canberra.* Never had a need to venture the back streets but as usual, Geocaching takes us to the back streets which gives us the opportunity to see things we don't normally see. I really like *Canberra* and i've often thought I would love to live here, but now, I'm not sure I'd cope with city living, too much of a country girl.

Catching up on some very late logs.
Day 2 of our planned assault on Canberra with the same group consisting of The Drovers, Phetlern, Micaparamedic,
Alansee GoodLook, and ourselves.
We had another busy but very enjoyable day chasing series caches and happily we found all we were looking for with no DNF's
We all had a fantastic day and would like to write more but as we have said when you do so many in such a short time it is hard to remember individual hides.
This in no means takes away from our appreciation to the CO's for all the effort, time and expense they have done to let us find so many caches.
As per the other two days we signed as "The Mob" to save room in the log books.
Many thanks /// for the hides and the fun.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks ALL7 (F=18985 H=1365) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Did this cache with a group who logged as THE MOB. All in all we were appreciative of the CO's efforts in putting them out. Apologies for the generic log but what can one do?
We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to ALL7 for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

The second day of caching, as "The Mob" setting out from Murrumbateman with Alansee, Good Look, Micaparamedic, Team Crackers The Drovers and ourselves, in glorious autumn weather, we had a fabulous day of fun, friendship and finding caches.
Thanks ALL7 for placing so many caches on the gameboard, which players enjoy finding.

Helped replacing the old or damp/damaged log papers for ALL7. Found all of them, except few missing ones which are replaced by new caches. She taught me how to do as a cache owner one day that’s why. Glad we had a lovely day and via first half-way, we visited the Robyn Rowe chocolate cafe on Nanima Road for a cuppa break. Lovely delicious handmade chocolates. Worth a visit there. Then on final half-way, we done the cache researching to the Casey Jones pub for a good cooling-down break with and .
