T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!
Today we are travelling from Penguin to Stanley. This one gave us some grief as we both searched the right spot thoroughly (so we thought) and then spent a good half hour wandering all over looking everywhere else. We even called in a PAF, but they couldn't recall the hide However, when I went back to the beginning and was even more thorough I finally discovered the container. Hard won indeed! I just called in on Not the Whomping Willow to check that all is well with the Geocache.
All is tickety-boo.
Geocache is still in place and waiting to be found.

Took a while to find!
Got to chat to the muggle land owner, who told us all about the tree & hedge.

I will check on this cache in the next few days but trust me people, you just need to look a bit harder.

I increased the difficulty rating on this one as people seem to be having some trouble with it.
Will increase the rating again in the future if people keep DNFing it.

Tftc found by inspectorrexteam out collecting as many as we can before the end of the year. Merry Christmas
After a leisurely kayak up the Cam River this morning we headed further west to look for a few caches.
This was the first one tackled and a bad start to our caching day.
Not in the obvious place and an expanded search didn't result in a find either. Drat!!!
Will keep an eye on this one and see if we were just cache blind.
Thanks.

Just arrived back from a trip to King Island and it was a rough flight and the weather is not being kind to us so are aim is to just do the easier caches which do not recur us to walk long distances so we don’t get too wet. Didn’t really come prepared for the wet! It didn’t take too long to find.

A good spot to pull off the road. Found the cache and just finished signing as the rain started to pelt down. TFTC
Out and about on a lovely Easter Monday afternoon, have been meaning to get down this way for a while but life keeps getting in the way. Today's the day to change a few of these ones to smilies! TFTC
Today we travelled from Wynyard to Port Latta and surrounds to find some caches that have been published since our last visit and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We had to head to Circular Head today and when we saw that this cache had been published, it was only a short detour to get to GZ. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find of a well presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. There being no other entries in the logbook, we will claim {FTF} at 13:15. Thanks The_Man_Of_Steel for the cache. Now to get back on the road and head west.
