Our last Journey series cache before the final. It's taken us years to complete! This was a quick find and we were unnoticed by the campers in the neighbouring campground. Lovely drive and there are so many lambs in the fields at the moment. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan

Tasmania Trip Day 9. My second day caching out of Hobart was more counties to the south and East of Hobart. It was a cold drizzly day that got even worse as I went south. The highlight was the cave south of Port Arthur. I slowly worked my way back through the other counties and managed to see quite a few great small town along the way. I arrived back into town quite late in the afternoon and only did one more LAB set around town before finding somewhere to have dinner. I went back to the motel and did some logging and preparing for tomorrow.I was trying to cross between two counties without going too far back the way I had come and found myself on some quite small roads. This seemed out in the middle of nowhere, but by the stream here was a great spot for a cache. Thanks for the cache 63ROOS46022.22 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2006 August Signal A#40**Albida**

We were in Richmond today with some spare time, so we decided to drive up to Campania and try and find the caches there that weren’t yet smileys on our map. We were able to find two caches that we had had a DNF on before, and two others to get a total of four finds for the day, enough to get us the solstice souvenir.

A quick find here. There’s just two more two go in this series now, including the final.

Thanks for the cache 63ROOS!

Found on a trip to Tasmania from South Australia to visit family and friends and find a few geocaches.

Today was a big day, with nearly 500km covered. The main aim was the 'Something Smells Fishy' wherigo series, with a few other targeted caches along the way. The plan was to then head up to the Central Highlands before returning via a circuitous route to pick up a few more specific caches of interest.

I got away quite early, but unfortunately the fishing pole series took a lot longer than I had anticipated. I almost pulled the pin on the Central Highlands, but it was such a beautiful day, I thought I should continue with the plan, albeit a slightly cut back version.

All in all I was travelling and caching for almost 14 hours, resulting in about 50 cache finds - not a lot for the time and distance, but they were mostly specifically targeted caches that I was keen to find.

This one was found without any difficulty and the cache and contents are in good condition.

Thanks 63ROOS for the cache.

So, previously I attempted this there were people camping very close by. Another attempt today, park the car, put to check and as I’m doing so a car in the middle of the road waiting for me to get out of the way. He was entering the block on the corner, I was fouled again!!!
I came back after a quick jaunt to Campania. Signed the logbook and took off quick.

{Grabbed the final clue and tried to nut it out quickly, roadside so i could go grab the 'Wheel' final but with the missing clue from cache #3, and needing a computer to do the work required [never try it on a smartphone with limited reception [:o]] i decided to just grab a few more hides back in Campania then grab the solved final on Monday the 8th before heading up north to Burnie Wink
I have enjoyed doing this cool series over time (A few holiday trips in the past included) [^] Wink}

gridge98 decided he wanted to go for an overnight trip to hobart and collect a few caches and also head down to port arthur to collect the old virtual. I was keen for a drive to get some hours up for my Ls and to find a few caches along the way. A great trip away and some cool sights seen.
Apologies for the generic log.

Hi 63ROOS, thanks for the cache and the series.
Fourth find of the day with geoSonE, and the last of the series prior to the final.
What is it today with muggles, cars, and fishermen?
Pulled up near GZ, and there was another vehicle nearby parked 50metres away, but no-one obvious about. Then a rustle in the bushes, and 2 fishermuggles trundled up from the riverbank and back to their car. We waited, they waited, we waited, they waited, until finally a third fishermuggle appeared, this time from upstream, crossed the bridge, and joined his mates at the car. Luckily for us, they were soon off, leaving us to retrieve the cache.
geoSonE was sweating on this last piece of info, and the final coordinates were soon in the phone, and we were off ....

Thanks for the cache 63ROOS. I had found the first eight in this series not long after they were published, but had never had quite enough time to finish off the series. Today the GeoGSP and I were out and about with RLD4963 who also wanted to finish off the series so off we headed.
This was a new road that I had not driven down before - thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the series.

Wandered along this lovely country road this morning on my way to the Wheel of Fortune. Lovely weather and river flowing well at the hide. All good at GZ thanks 63Roos, Slipped in the waypoint obtained from the clues of the nine caches, looks a likely spot...off we go. Had to take a pic of Campania House as we passed.

We decided to do this series of caches today. We had fun travelling to all way points. We were most impressed by the quality of all the cache containers, the accurate coordinates and the good hints. Thanks, 63Roos for placing this series.

Have been meaning to get the caches in Campania for a while and finally ventured out today to grab them and a few more in Richmond. We found this cache yesterday on a nice hot 30 degree day but had very little battery life left so saved the logging until today. Very little traffic to deal with but found Cache quickly and logged. Was great to get to see Campania House nearby as it is beautifully maintained and was up for sale recently. TFTC.

Hi 63ROOS
What a great Journey you have created for us. So many different areas to visit and caches to find. Thank you for all the time and effort you have put into this. We liked them all but especially number 9 as it took us to an area where we could see the historic Campania House. Also number 10 - very original hide, well done.

Well will you look at that a nice new series by 63Roos, that this Saturday sorted then.

Myself and the Goose started off doing them in the wrong order because we are hell raisers like that Smile

We were not disappointed finding some great geocaches along the way, we even got home before dark for once.

Thanks for the caches 63Roos

We came south today to greet our daughter who was returning from Antarctica after a 5 month season at Casey Station. With her plane not due to land until late afternoon, we had time to cache in the morning and the recently published Journey series was the obvious choice.

Coming from the north, this was the first cache for the day. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 63ROOS for the cache and the series.

This was a new road for me, we were amazed at the beautiful homestead nearby. The cache was pushed in a long way and with the strong magnet I struggled to get it out. Eventually if gave way and I got it. This was a lovely spot and I watched a flock of birds take off that had been feeding on the barberries, while I was standing on the bridge.
Nor we calculated the final cache so off we go.
Thanks 63ROOS

**FTF** 7.30am shared with diadem
Returned from the mainland yesterday and off to sleep quickly last night. Woken by the familiar "ding" and saw that a number of FTFs would be up for grabs so out of bed and did all the preparations for an early morning getaway. Slept in a little longer than expected and saw that some of the FTFs were going as we looked so change of track to get ahead of the game.
After the triple share on #8 Hatgillie took off for work and we continued in convoy to the last cache for the shared FTF.
TFTC and the series. (have to go back and get the others after this one and leave diadem to get the well earned final.
