Logs
Evidence of flood debris washed up against each fence post, looks like this area went underwater at some stage. We could hear the creek close by, so not surprising. No evidence of any log sighted tonight, so we didn't even know where to search, after not being able to find a log or any other spot for the cache we gave up!
Today we visited a number of caches to the north of Murrumbateman. We enjoyed the areas through which we travelled but became frustrated with the number of caches that needed attention. We endorse the sentiments expressed by throsbyonchurch and completed maintenance on many.
As we arrived at this cache, we were joined by a very friendly horse on the other side of the fence. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of this cache. Unfortunately the container did not have a lid. We left a mint tin as an interim replacement. ALL7, we appreciate the efforts in planning and placing this series.

The problem with doing so many caches so quickly is that the notes you take, which seem to make sense at the time, have no bearing and make no sense months later. If anyone needed to call for a PAF, we wouldn't be able to help. Note to self: Take more extensive notes, even if it is just for future logging. Thanks for placing this cache, and the others, for us to find.
Tftc. Out caching with Jaybeem and Giggles and found this series of caches. As I was driving, I wasn’t logging as I went. Log signed JBM/TLM to save space.
Catching up on some very late logs.
Day 2 of our planned assault on Canberra with the same group consisting of The Drovers, Phetlern, Micaparamedic,
Alansee GoodLook, and ourselves.
We had another busy but very enjoyable day chasing series caches and happily we found all we were looking for with no DNF's
We all had a fantastic day and would like to write more but as we have said when you do so many in such a short time it is hard to remember individual hides.
This in no means takes away from our appreciation to the CO's for all the effort, time and expense they have done to let us find so many caches.
As per the other two days we signed as "The Mob" to save room in the log books.
Many thanks /// for the hides and the fun.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks ALL7 (F=18985 H=1365) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

Did this cache with a group who logged as THE MOB. All in all we were appreciative of the CO's efforts in putting them out. Apologies for the generic log but what can one do?
We stamped the logs as "The Mob" to save space in the logs - today there were 6 teams caching together: Team Crackers, The Drovers, Phetlern, Alansee, the lovely micaparamedic and myself.
Most of the cache finds were straight forward, yet a couple stumped us. A few were located where it was difficult to safely pull the car off of the road, but we made it work with some creative maneuvers.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip that was planned at the Clear Waters mega was able to occur.
Adelaide, Victoria, NSW and Canberra - a decent drive, filled with various caching activities including Adventure Labs.
Several days caching with the awesome Team Crackers, gorgeous The Drovers, fab Phetlern, cool Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We laughed, sang to a vast variety of songs and chatted - almost non-stop! [^] We piled into cars and had such a fun time. Despite the light showers, windy conditions at times, we also had sunny days to enjoy caching in.
A sincere thanks to ALL7 for placing these caches, including the enjoyable little series.

Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

This auspicious date had been marked on our calendar for some time so we were particularly pleased to get some direction where we could achieve some high numbers for this once in 4 year occasion. We teamed up with local geocacher Albida for a relaxed but unrelenting day of finding caches. Lovely scenery and great hides. Our thanks to Albida and to ALL7 for adding to our enjoyment of the area.

On a caching mission with AngelG27, Fox in Jox and Flinstone's with the goal to find 250+ in a day to qualify for a challenge cache in the US we are planning to find. Mostly All7 trails in NSW surrounding the ACT. Apologies for a generic log. All caches found easily, unless specifically stated otherwise. TFTC.

We are doing a car caching day around Canberra with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and Fox in Jox. The challenge, to find 270+ in a day. Starting bright and early we are hitting mainly power trails from ALL7 and DSD which have been dominating my map as green for a while now. will be yellow now.
Thank you ALL7 for the cache and thank you AngelG for driving. Signed with stamp of the day or as TAFF.

Today is a challenge day for TikvaNZ, Fox in Jox, Flintstones and myself - we are aiming for 270+ caches in one day - a big ask! We are hitting a number of power trails around the ACT, mainly ALL7 and DSD caches. With 4 in the car, the jobs of driving, navigation and cache finding will be rotated around all of us. Unless otherwise indicated, caches found easily and in line with the hint.
Thanks ALL7 for the cache and the fun!

On a mission with AngelG27, TikvaNZ and Flintstones to get 250 caches in a day. A long day but lots of fun. TFTC
This is my first decent caching day in ages - since early December in fact. Since then, I've been out twice only for four finds. Heat. Fires. Holidays. Work stress for Mrs Mister JD. Kids. And so on. Today my lady and the kids are at CISAC for their school swimming carnival, and I have four or five hours to myself. I can't go in there, the chlorine kills me. So I have the GeoSchnauzers on board, and we're out past Murrumbateman filling a few holes in the powertrails. I stopped for a walk for the dogs in Murrumbateman which we all enjoyed, and they got a couple more walks at some of the more spacious and less busy cache locations. It was great to see the Yass River running.
At the end of the day, I felt great. I'll have to do this more often.
A couple of the caches were lying on the ground, doubtless due to high winds or rain or something. I put them back where I thought they should go.A couple also had water inside the containers, but the logs were dry. I dried the containers in those cases, so everything's good.
Find no 1 of 30 today. Thanks, ALL7

Today was a very pleasant warm sunny day and just perfect for a leisurely drive to collect some more of this series of caches. Thanks ALL7 for placing them all.
I headed out for a day of caching along Mountain Creek road with LuckyL10n. We each did about one hundred caches, but over a total of about 120 for the day. We had a few DNFs but largely we had a great successful day. After Yass we had to get up to 100 finds, so a few more on the way back towards Canberra to finish off the day.
Thanks.

Intended to clear up my missing ALL7 caches around Murrumbateman this morning but I was slowed down by a couple of DNFs so had to leave a few for another time. Have really enjoyed this series. Caches attempted today were 'All' found with the exception of 2 DNFs, logged separately. TFTC and for placing and maintaining this series ALL7.
A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. High winds, cold, sleet, rain, mush, icy, snow, we had it all! But we endured, and had a fantastic time regardless. Did I mention that it was cold? Bone chillingly cold. I am not sure my fingers have as yet recovered! Some roads were even closed due to snow, curtailing our route and resulting in some last-minute changes.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

A very chilly couple of days in and around the ACT with The Rats and Hoojar- most of the time the temperature didn't peak above 4 degrees! Amongst the sleet, rain, wind and cold however we made plenty of finds on mainly a number of power trails. TFTC!
Headed out for a caching run with steeba and Hoojar that had a bit of everything. These caching runs are planned months in advance and to-date have been perfect. This trip was no different – except for the influence of the WEATHER. A weekend in the Canberra hills that had howling winds, driving rain, sleet, hail, snow, frozen body parts slippery icy tracks, closed roads and temps that never got higher than 6 deg by day and were subzero all night, but alas we had a great boys weekend caching.
Apologises for the generic log but it doesn’t detract from the caching fun, except for the WEATHER which played a major part in our weekend. Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.

#9409 - 4:29:00 PM; After collecting the last piece of evidence yesterday, I started to hunt for gems in order to solve the 'Mystery at the Museum'. Picked up a couple more this morning, before setting out on a beautiful winter afternoon to see if I could complete the set along Yass River Road, adding more caches from ALL7's cacher cache series. Only saw a couple of other vehicles and muggles along the way and managed to find 16 out of 16 caches. All were found in good order. Managed to collect the remaining gems I needed as well as a few extras for good measure. Mission accomplished TFTC ALL7
After a foggy start to the morning it cleared out to be a lovely day to be out and about for a number of caches that trail towards Yass. I started the series too long ago, and have even made this a 'good' place for a daily find... yes, it was easier to get out to a few of the closer to town ones at times! So today we set out to see what we could get done.
As it happened we managed to get all of the caches in the area that we needed and made a good day of it too. The roads were quiet and made stopping quite good, a little local traffic but not much and the coordinates seemed good and caches easily found. The lambs were about, a lot of alpacas, a free roaming ram and a few locals that saw nothing!
Thanks for the cache ALL7, another one complete and SO many more to go!

Today was a wonderful day cleaning up some of the missing caches on some various power trails around Yass. We had permission fro the CO to replace any we found missing, which thankfully was just a few.
Nearly all caches found in good order on the coordinates. Everytime I start to think I am running our of trails there seems to be another new one.... in fact I need to make sure I can keep up!

On our way home from the Oz Geomuster 2019 - The Gong! We had some time to kill and thought about smashing out a series or two on the way home to Melbourne. We followed the Australian Animals Series from Collector to Gundaroo - the weather turned a little nasty but we had fun anyway! Then we decided to keep the train rollin' along a few more dirt roads and backroad highways. Our thanks to all of the cache hiders for these cool caches along roads we'd never travel otherwise.

As my daughter had a party at home to which I wasn't invited I decided to stay the night elsewhere and hoping to find my house in one piece tomorrow. Drove all the way to Collector and then Gundaroo to start this part of the trail to Yass. As I started late I only just made it to Yass before it was pitch dark. Good fun on much more busy road then expected. Had to use stealth a lot of times. All caches found well and thanks for placing them!

Attending the Clear Water 2019 mega this Easter in Queanbeyan. Apologies for the generic log but we have found too many to compose individual logs. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their caches, which have been exceptional in their maintenance I have had only 1 dnf and that was only because I was not going to make a tree climb without seeing where the cache was. The vast majority of caches have had very good coordinates. Along with useful hints. TFTC
Today we were only able to tackle part of the extensive number of caches along the roads named after so many caching teams. Our crew today also included ilook4geo and Paul the Hippy who was chief navigator). After attending a neat event down at Lake Tuggeranong, we headed up the Barton Hwy for a pile of new-ish ALL7 caches. This was the first of many ! All but one of the caches were found quickly without any problems.
Thanks ALL7 !!

Another ALL7 cache section done. A nice quietish road which was great. Plenty of obvious stop points. Only on DNF "poldark's cache".
While ALL7 is doing my cache series (Kowen Roo), I will do ALL7's cache series... well, one of them.

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Todays stop was at the showgrounds Gunaroo, headed out to do some of All7's trail.
Good parking & good hints helped with quick finds along these busy roads.
Crossed paths with the Snakepiters who were doing the trail from th opposite end. A short chat stop then on our way again
Thanks for placing this cache ALL7

We're camping at some quiet locations and great little towns that should lead us to the Mega at Queanbeyan.
It's a credit to all the cache owners down here, just about all the finds have been well maintained and with excellent coords.
Camped at the Gundaroo Oval to see if we can find some of the trails around here.

Found with nissan 65. Headed up from the coast last night after work and stayed at our usual spot in Goulburn over night. We decided to come out and collect this nice newish series. Thankyou for placing these for our enjoyment. Happy caching
