School holidays are over and time to do some caching!
Heading Mudgee/Dubbo/Orange areas looking to find some.
Thanks to the owners for the hides we find on our trip.
Took longer than it should.

Up at Orange for a couple of days to see family. While I waited for them to get organised I had some time to kill so I thought I would collect these three in an area I had visited on a previous trip.
Next on the walk - GPS had me between poplars and of course I Circled the wrong tree twice. Headed back to the one I had walked past and found on the first lap. Log is wet but can write on it if you have the right type of pen.

Later in the day we found a few caches around the town area.
This was a good way to tour the area. A good variety of hides & caches found.
Thankyou drobbonz for placing this cache.

This one took a bit longer to spot but I eventually found the right angle. A show off wattle bird, on the nearby fence kept distracting me.
I've seen quite a few muggles as I head along this path but thankfully had a nice stretch of time to myself to search for this one. One of those interesting containers that, when you finally see it, you can't understand why it wasn't visible metres away.

On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very hot, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Molong and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
This one was a bit harder to spot.
Thanks drobbonz

Too many leaves and with the gps bouncing between two trees we couldn’t find it
Wouldn’t call it a micro......
Found with Joshwyatt83 and ArmyBrats4 and Blayke04

Road trip with Geodog Peppa, heading to Dubbo.
Stopped off in pretty Orange to pick up some wines then headed down this lovely walkway for a leg stretch
This one blends in surprisingly well

Quick find by billy today. Cache in good order. Much easier without leaves and needed the hint. TFTC
Found on a walk with the geokids during our allotted COVID19 exercise. Quite a few muggles out so the geohubby told the kids to "act natural" and hilarity ensued. Tftc
These hides are always difficult but fortunately I picked the right tree. Thanks for the series, have a favourite point for it. SL TFTC
Our devices could not agree on which tree to search so we chose one each and YGAT soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for this enjoyable series drobbonz.
Thanks for this enjoyable series drobbonz.
A big day of caching between Orange and Wellington and back. Great weather, able to squeeze in a parkrun as well and caches were all found straight forward.

After reading messages about no leaves helping, we decided our gps had us barking up the wrong tree.
a quick find after a pleasant walk along the path on a beautiful sunny winter's day TFTC drobbonz
Found GZ but had to ignore a d keep walking because of Muggle activity. When clear I came back and perseverance paid off. Log signed. Thank you for the caches and walk.
This is a pretty path and is the second time we've been geocaching here as this is a new cache in the series. TFTC
Geo hubby got to distracted by some fishing line in the tree. Obvious find in the end
On a day full of sports, lakeside lunches & a couple of birthday dinners, this was a quick collect along a path we'd previously cleaned out until this one was published. I love the location, thanks for getting me back! TFTC.
Nice easy find after a big day of netball, playing by the lake and tennis. TFTC
This is a cool path & there were lots of cicadas here last time got some caches here. TFTC.
Clever hide. Most of the leaves have fallen which possibly gave us an advantage today!
Really enjoyed our morning walk along the pathway and surrounds.
Found a few caches as we went and this was one of them.
Thanks heaps for the cache - it added more fun to our walk.

Next cache on our walk around the golf course. It took some thorough stirring from all directions and angles before the cache finally revealed itself.
A short stroll by the links,
took me to where this cache slinks
I tickled a poplar by the path side,
and out popped a cache with logbook inside
TFTC ... FORE !!

Busy little pathway. People appear out of nowhere, while staring at the tree. Tftc
Hunted and hunted and hunted some more amongst a couple of possible GZ’s. Then whilst I paused to photograph the cicada Minniek made the obvious find. Doh!
A crisp morning drive out to orange for an afternoon event soon turned into a hot day. On the hunt with Minniek, Fitzy_1965, mynamesjeff and deathkiller.

17,683. Found with minniek and Nibletricecakes during a run up to Orange today.
With an event on offer up in Orange today we used that as an excuse for a day trip caching along the way. Next stop for the day. Bounced between the two objects until minniek made the 'find it' call. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks drobbonz !!

Must have been cache blind on the first visit as it was an instant find on the second after attending the nearby event.
Beware of the golf carts sneaking up on you as they are regular travellers on this pathway.

Nibletricecakes mentioned that she was thinking about heading to Orange for an event today. So with no other plans, fitzy_1965 and I decided to join her. We got two of my geo-kids, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1, up rather early to meet nibletricecakes in Yass.
We all piled into one car and headed off for the day. All out for a stroll down the path. Our GPS's were bouncing a bit here but eventually I took the plunge and stuck my head in to make the find.

In Orange with megawat60 for his 50th school reunion and enjoying this picturesque town. He made the find here then we discovered we are joint 2TF. Thanks for this cache and the history of this part of town.
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
On my adventure returning to the Midwest district after a 50 year absence.
Yay joint second to find. Nice quick find here even with wavering co-ords
Thanks for the hide and drobbonz
