This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I'll contact the cache owner on the state of this cache. Please wait till this cache has undergone proper maintenance.
Should have read the Activities as we also found nothing big yellow etc. needs attention
Looked for a while, then thought to check previous logs - saw all the dnf's and owner log, so we left it after that!
Bit of construction.. walked around for a bit but couldn't find anything matching the clue.
Fairly certain we've gotten the right building with machine, but it's now a construction site. Did a fairly comprehensive search but didn't see much yellow... Maybe just missing it!
This cache took a lot longer when it should as I was convinced that being big, yellow and metallic, well it would be one of those types of those types of caches.
After much searching I found the cache and returned it back to where I retrieved it.
Most of the time I had a cache guardian watch over me.

On my way to my brother’s for some dog-sitting, took the opportunity to clear out Glebe of some unfound icons. This location, structure and container were all unexpected but a surprisingly quick find with co-ords around 10m out and so many places it could have been.
Great GC location, TFTC. Wonder what this yellow thing is? Took a little longer but that was exacerbated by the rain and wanting to jump back into the warm dry car. We took a swap and added a swap. Found what may have been the previous GC that was in pieces plus a mini Chobani yoghurt swap with FTF written on it.
I initially thought oh crap I hate finding caches on large metal objects like farm equipment but this was a quick one TFTC
Thanks for showing me another local interesting bit. I was afraid it's gonna be difficult but was actually a quick one.
Coords were a bit out, but the hint will get you in the right place. Didn’t take online log book or prize. Added a small swag item.

Hey guys I'm happy to announce that I have upgraded my Geocache and have invented a new way of logging your find its called the Online Logbook also I put some prizes in there but only take one if you find it
Hey guys thanks for all of the support on this cache and I will be fixing it up soon
Found my first cache! The log paper inside is drenched so some of the names are blurred. But it’s still there!
Found it lying out in the open, tucked it up in a hiding spot hopefully the right one. Funny little spot. Wonder what the machine was for?
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. We thought no not a Micro on a machine. Found immediately.
Bonus I guess because I found 2 cache containers, each with a log book. I signed the one in the wrapped box. Both containers are together. Hint is spot on. Thanks for the cache close to the Airbnb I am staying at before heading off on a back to back cruise out of Sydney. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.
Today we headed over to the Inner West, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.80 per head capped Opal Card fares, to have a look at some new cache placements that have appeared around the suburbs of Glebe, Harold Park, Forest Lodge, Annandale, and Rozelle since our last visit to the area. Utilised Bus/Train/Tram on the way over, and Tram/Train/Ferry/Bus on the way back home. This was the 4th of 7 finds for the day.
We walked from Forest Lodge to Annandale for this one, and arrived at GZ for a super quick find as it was lying on the ground out in the open. TNLNSL, and then placed the cache container in a logical spot on the obvious feature (as per the hint), and where we suspect it had fallen from. TFTC willy231.

Walking home from work found it- almost new piece of paper. Careful where you walk
#4514:
I needed a cache find today to fill in a blank day in my calendar, so I took a walk down Booth Street from my flat.
I gotta admit, this is a pretty unpleasant area to put a cache, bit at least it was quiet at GZ. I stepped up and started timidly searching between the thorns and broken glass. I ended up spotting it on the floor without a log, so I signed a piece of paper I had, popped it in, and then put the cache back on the object. TFTC.

Just around the corner from home base, perfect for a Saturday afternoon able amble. We've walked past this rusty yellow heap many times over the years, great to have a cache to find here now. Thanks!
Interesting structure, luckily the weather held off long enough for us to make this find after dinner nearby. Tftc ️
Came past here tonight after dinner nearby as part of our streak souviner. Cool structure, found pretty quickly TFTC
Like others, I thought I’d be here for ages, but I spied the container from the correct angle. Interesting what you find down the end of the street.
I thought this would take for ever but it was a good size and soon spotted.
TFTC.
TFTC.
A late night (early morning) diversion on my way home brought me past the GZ, and a torchlight search eventually revealed the cache.
I think it might have moved from its original location though.

After a meeting in the city, went home via Glebe to pick up a few smileys. This is an interesting machine. Love to know what it used to do. Easy find and thankful it wasn't a yellow micro. TFTC!
#6178 (2 of 2 today)
Just after two today. The tide wasn’t right for my first choice, so headed to a different area. Both finds took a bit of systematic searching, but came up with both in the end.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
The iPhone wanted me in the middle of the road, but the obvious GZ as a short distance away. Well, this could take a while... strange machine, though.
Started checking likely spots - so glad this isn’t a nano. Didn’t spot in on the first circuit. So started again. Oh, there it is.
Completed signing duties and replaced. And only one muggle went past during the search.
Time to head home.

Parked a little way away to get a leg stretch and to see if we could spot any turtles. Yes, to the first and no to the second. But we did walk by a gingerbread house. What a surprise! Got to GZ and made this much harder than it had to be. It was tucked away rather tightly and we eventually spotted the container. Mr Gaztek describes this as a heavy industrial chiller which makes very cold water for air to run through and provide air conditioning. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Decided for some outdoor activities this beautiful sunny Saturday. Ended up in Leichhardt... This was our first found here and it felt a little bit awkward to examine the structure, but we were lucky to find it rather quick.
First caching excursion with the geocoach in months during one of his rare visits to Sydney. Once we dropped him off at GZ, he was all over this one making sharanyaexpress and I look like total novices.
It's always good for the stats caching with the coach!
Thanks raindoctor for getting us out caching in our own neighbourhood, and for the find!

Thanks for the hide. Found with rain doctor and jomingara on a short afternoon caching walk around the neighborhood.
Felt exposed here but luckily a quick find. A perfect afternoon for some walk and grabs with jomingara and sharanyaExpress!
willy231 I found your cache Willem Simcoe on 31/3/19, 10:45 am. This is my find 2312 and find # 3 today. A quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
A nice morning to walk blind GeoMonty, so we jumped in the vehicle and headed over. I've done this walk afew times before but with a previous geodog. For Monty it was a whole new experience and he behaved quite well, only barking at the logs along the path not far from GZ.
Once at GZ I tied him to the railing and began to search.
I found lots of good spots to hide a cache before I finally spotted my prize. SL and replaced the cache where I'd found it.
I doubt the place the cache currently is located is where the CO originally put it. Needs a check,

I have been MIA for some time in the Geocache hunt. A number of things were involved; Christmas, a broke bone in my foot, the cricket finals series (Grand final coming up!!) and general lethargy.
However this one popped up close to home, so I went looking for it.
Yes, I found it and replaced it in the same place, but I am not sure it is quite where willy231 intended it to be.
Off Overseas on Sunday so will be looking for caches far far from home. TFTC

It actually wasn't raining this morning so I set out bright and early to ride a few Emerald class ferries, to seek out a cache at what used to be the end of the light rail line, to check out this new big yellow steampunk cache... and finally to end up at the Leichhardt cinema where a favourite actor - Fabrice Lucchini - is doing his thespian thing for the French Film Festival. Quite a walk.
With the tweaked co ordinates and another hint gleaned from the logs, I twigged early on what I was looking for and where it probably was hidden. And success!
Thank you, willy231

Had to wait for a local council worker to move on before commencing the search. As it turned out I needn't of bothered as I was out of site. As it was raining lightly I didn't explore the nearby pond and creek. TFTC willy231.
Interesting piece of equipment. Found the hide pretty quickly with the hint. I haven't seen one of these containers in a long time. Didn't see any wondering turtles.
Thanks for the hide, willy231!

FTF- Early bird catches the worm!
Left work early for a dentist appointment, and while driving, noticed the new published caches close to the city. Fast forward to ready for bedtime and had a quick glance at both, noticing FTF still available. Adjusted the dial on the alarm clock to be early. Woken by a mousey neighbour who dropped his bin at 3:30am and couldn't sleep for the next hour until I said, just get up and start the day. Had another look at both hides online and all of a sudden I seemed eager to leave.
Arrived in really good time but too quiet, even the business across the road was open and loading trucks at this time. Two gents stood talking, while I searched the rear of, to report of there view. Exausted the side, I out waited there conversation and they moved on. A quick find from the front and away to McKell Park, thanks willy231 for the placement

With this cache so close to home I was able to head over to GZ within minutes of seeing the publishing.
As I arrived the rain started to fall, I had a quick look around but I was getting soaked so I ran for the bus home with the idea of coming back later.....life took over and I didn’t make it back until this afternoon with Brewmaker.
This time the cache was spotted in seconds. I know it’s possible to miss a cache but I doubt it had been placed when I was here yesterday as there is no way I wouldn’t have seen it in its current position!
Happy to have a smiley now though. A very interesting piece of equipment in an industrial feeling part of the suburb.

Well I'm glad I didn't rush out in the dark last night when I saw this was still unfound at 11pm! Seems there was some relative oversight. Reminds me of another cache I tried to get FTF on recently. But that's another story.
With FTF gone by the early morning, I called on The Bebes to meet up and at least get 2TF. After racing over after work, we met up and despite the GPS saying it was located on the road, we knew exactly where it might be. And it was spotted easily, given that it was out in the open really. The cache container looked very familiar to a container I use in my line of work - in fact I was expecting to find another type of compass inside!
Once we added our stamps to the log, we replaced it a little bit more hidden. I did a quick coord check and got S .894 and E .991 for better accuracy. Interesting structure at GZ I must say. Congrats on your first hide willy231. I wonder who Willem Simcoe could be? TFTC
