The construction is still ongoing, well they are done but the area for some reason is still fenced off
Checked on this and its still in place waiting for the construction site to open, hopefully soon.
The construction is still ongoing but it looks like they are making progress. So not much longer but I come by here at least once a week and have an eye on this. So once the construction has finished I will check and activate.
The construction is still ongoing, but it looks good regarding the cache hide. It is still clearly visible from the outside and will very likely survive the update on the area. I will enable the cache once the construction is finished and the fence is gone. Should not be too much longer, they are more than half way done.
I agree, the cache seems to be in a construction site at the moment. They are building the bike path there now. We will have to see when the construction is finished if this caches survived it. Quite possible, still there at the moment all depends on if they take that fence down or not, but they will mostly likely do so.
Yep scrabbled down from the side, spotted the cache on the inside of the fence and sent the smallest cacher under the fence to retrieve it
Again my size came in handy as I could slide under the fence line to grab this one. I'm very flexible and small
Excellent hide. We probably did it the wrong way ( we sent SenseiYoda under the fence) but we got it in the end TFTC
Not where I expected but adjusted my search a little and spotted it, helped by accurate coords. Blends in surprisingly well and all in good condition. TFTC Flintstones.
Needed to go for a walk, but not a long one as I was a little sore. I hate being bed ridden.
However I’ve had this one on my list of caches I wanted to do for a while. There are many more in my 5km from home still to get, but I only had the energy for one today.
With Mrs Youban with me as my designated carer, we parked off the main road in the easy parking spot and walked the 250m down the old road to GZ.
I searched the obvious spot, but then realised it was not so close to the middle as they usually are and Mrs Youban had accidentally put her hand on it by the time I walked around. So obvious when you finally see it. Lol.
After signing the log and returning it to its spot. We then walked back up to the car and home for a rest. Tftc Flintstone’s!!!

Took a bit long to find even though I was at the obvious feature. An interesting road and being utilised by a muggle after shopping at the mall. TFTC.
#5281 Out for a spot of Monday Geocaching with CBRChic today in an attempt to make a dent in the "Mystery at the Museum" challenge. We only had a couple of hours today so not that many finds, but it was a lot of fun. School holidays and cool conditions generally made for muggle-free locations.
We ended up crawling under the fence as we did not read the description. Actually I could not hold CC back. She donated some hair here.
Thanks Flintstone's

After a long week a walk with a friend was in need. Found with nibletricecakes. TFTC
Found with K8tybee on what feels like the coldest day in Canberra yet this winter as the rain spit and spat at us. Despite the bitter cold walk it was a lovely little adventure, with a nice fast find at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
Made the short walk down towards this along the old road this afternoon. A little chilly but not too bad on the way to the cache. It took me a quick moment of looking before I noticed the cache, I cant believe how well this blended and that I missed that! Log signed and then the much colder walk back to the cars heater, Thanks for the cache Flintstones.
With Canberra turning it on (or rather down) our little sojourn along a perfect spot for their light rail brought us to GZ. Quickly found and signed. Thanks Flintstones for showing us something even most Canberrans won’t know exists. Kutgw
Finally found after three separate attempts. First two attempts took me over an hour each before I finally gave up and moved on. This attempt took less than five minutes.
18,238. Found during a meander around Belconnen today.
So many new caches around here, so I thought today was the day to clean up a few. My caching companion today had tried this twice before without any luck. So today we walked in and once at GZ I interpreted the clue correctly and the cache was quickly located.
Thanks Flintstones !!

Nice stroll down the bus lane and soon found GZ and the cache .
Think the ink was frozen as well as the fingers .
Many thanks to The Flintstones for the cache hide .

A nice little walk along a road that was well hidden for such a long time. Found after a few minutes - I wasn't really all that keen on giving up. TFTC
Well that was almost embarrassingly a DNF but I stuck at it and eventually found it. There seem to be two main options and I had searched both including this one but I’m glad I returned and gave it a much more thorough check much to my relief. Now I better hurry off to school pick up. That's daily cache #347. Getting close to the 365 day finish line now. TFTC
Found with Decrypter. We parked near one of the suggested entries and walked to GZ. After a brief search we read the hint and soon after had CIH. Then we walked back to the car. Lots of rubbish to be seen along the way, mostly on the other side of the fence. TFTC.
After picking my car up from being serviced, I decided to give myself a small dose of Geocaching therapy ... so I looked to see what had been hidden around here since I last found everything - ah - this one
I found a weird place to park near the end and go for a walk.
TFTC - Nice jog - lol
Lots of shopping trolleys... and all manner of other peculiar and or revolting things that people had thrown over the edge into this area ... disgusting, but quite interesting ...
(Maybe this area could be made into a running track, with basketball/whatever courts, and some parking at the ends? Or parking and a permanent site for some markets? Or something ...)

This was my second caching outing on the scooter, and I headed down from near the dive shop. I was a bit worried about all the glass, but I scooted right up to this one and found a cache with much less difficulties than the last one.
Thanks.

A mini after work caching mission with AngelG27 to find 2 caches. This was the second one. AngelG27 soon spotted the cache thanks to the hint. TFTC.

I've often wondered what this old bus lane might be like up close and this was a fine chance to explore. The geosons and i strolled in from Coulter Drive and with the help of the hint and very accurate co-ords soon had the cache in hand. Great idea for a series. Now to put my mind to other suggested locations. Tftc, Flintstones.
Cache 4965 on 10 Apr 2019.
After finding a few caches in Melbourne this morning, I still needed a couple of extra caches after work for my challenges. So TikvaNZ and I teamed up to collect one in Parkes and one in Belconnen.
This cache: TikvaNZ and I parked nearby and wandered down the road towards GZ. At GZ, it was a quick find thanks to the hint and lack of other options!
Thanks Flintstones for the cache and the fun!

Decided today's cache (not doing a streak, but just reaaaallly motivated to cache!) Was going to be this bus lane. Bonus points for being somewhere Ive not been in a long time.
I made my way to the entrance by means of following the desire paths in Florey, and turning onto Coulter drive.
Got to GZ and saw the only thing I could think that would be. I checked the hint and it made sense. Poked around and finally spotted!
Signed and on my way, I was surprised I could exit at the mall side without needing to dismount, and rode under and around it to work!
TFTC Flinstones!

I was reading Tankengine's log for this new cache the other day and saw his comment about the road potentially becoming a construction zone in the near future to make changes in the area, so decided I would swing by it today whilst I finally had some time to do a bit of caching
I parked at the derelict entrance on the edge of Coulter drive, very easy to just pull straight off the main road and park up on the grass, no kerb makes it even better! Walked past the concrete barriers and down towards the cache.
Once I reached GZ I came to a conclusion that there was really only 1 spot the cache could be hidden, for it to be only accessible from the inside. Still took me about 20 seconds to spot it however, blends in amazingly well!
The coords are absolutely BANG on too, so thanks for that Flintstones!
An awesome location and an awesome cache, this gets a favourite point from me because "abandoned" places or unusual places that don't usually get foot traffic is my absolute favourite spots for caches, as you can probably gather from a few of my hides!
FP added and thanks again

Decided to give this one a crack today. Parked that the mall carpark, as I was going to get something for lunch after this cache. Besides, there was a council truck and workers parked at the other entrance. I decided to try and get this one sooner rather than later, because I understand that the government has new plans for this road!
Well, I was thinking I was going to get a quick find here... Well, I was wrong! I identified the spot where I was sure it would be, and searched it all over! Twice! It couldn't be anywhere else, so I contacted the CO for a hint... - Well, I was looking at the right spot! I was convinced that it was gone! One last look, and there is was... Oh man does that blend in well! - Would have been embarrassed to log a DNF, only to find that it was there all along!
Thanks for the cache Flintstones!

Found with The Matetrix. Been a while since I was last here. No, it wasn't in a bus. TNLNSL TFTC
Found 12:48 20/3/19 on a lunchtime walk. I remember back to my childhood days when they first opened the Belconnen Bus interchange and these Bus lanes and how exciting it was. Thank you Flintstones for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Was out and about dropping someone off at Uni when i saw all the cache starting to come through, since i was already out and about and one said belconnen i figured I'd go check it out.
After parking near the mall side i strolled down the disused bus lanes towards gz, interestingly enough I read or heard somewhere the other day they are going to turn this very lane into a cycleway... maybe this one will end up with a power trail too.
After wandering to the gz I looked around for a bit but my phones gps had me bouncing all over the place. After a little bit I decided to check the satalite view which helped alot, after that just the right angle and I had the nice little cache in hand with a blank log for *FTF* at 2.36pm.
Thanks for the cache and a reason to go for a little walk.
