Ah, that feels like the first micro for ages, i cant believe i have missed them. I have headed off for a day and a half or so, planning to cache from Maldon, over to Red Bank then wending my way towards Creswick. i will hopefully be tidying up a few stragglers on my map, exploring more GCA caches and visiting at least a couple of new areas. Lexton Golf Club is find number 4,073 for me. A fun micro sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Pyrenees Shire. I am logging this one on Tuesday 24 Sept 2024 at 1:00 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 18C 53% 4 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy GemmaSistema.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Out for a drive through the area with muggle family, we made a detour here and managed to make the find, not magnetic though, TFTC and the fun
TFTC turned our frown upside down, golf club was under construction when we were here last time
On a caching trip with Sol de Lune today. We had successfully collected all the caches on our list so on the way home Sol De Lune stopped at a few caches that I had yet to find. After getting your nearby puzzle cache, we continued on so I could find this cache too. A quick search in a few likely places and the cache was found. My name was added to the log and off we went. Thanks for the cache here.
On the way to St Arnaud for a couple of days with 6 hinemoa2. Being an avid golfer, we just had to stop and find this cache. Thanks Gemma.
Headed out on a run up to Lexton, then down through Beaufort and back to Ballarat, with this my next stop in the area. Last one in town (the puzzle will have to wait) and without no-one around, it was a quick search and the cache was in hand. Log signed, then it was on the road to Beaufort.
Thanks GS....cache all good.
Thanks GS....cache all good.
When we pulled up, there were a few cars here but they just kept arriving so we will have a look next trip.
Another stop on my way through town.
Chasing a little ball around a big course... no thanks lol
Nice hide.

Whittlesea Mega Wobble and Wade Tour: Day 12: Start to head home.
Once again myself and Anymules were in Victoria on our way home from a Mega event. We made a detour via Geelong to drop off Bushfire yesterday. That done today we headed to Ballarat where we still had two more Geotour caches to find. [^] Again we spent the day juggling phone and GPS to do many Labs caches and any other caches we were passing with our next overnight digs in St. Arnaud. Many caches were found and unless something stood out these will be generic logs.
***Thanks GemmaSistema for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Whittlesea Event trip. Day 12. Caching today with brisal5.
Stopped by this one and made a quick find. Log book is full. Sorry I don’t carry any that small to help with maintenance.
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Micro Traditional called Lexton Golf Club at 14:37 on 25 November 2022. It was find #16589 for me. Thank you GemmaSistema for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.

On the way home from the VIC Rogaine Event. In Dunolly. Great weekend. Great Place. So much history with more to learn. Thanks to the cache owner.
Nice day for a drive with the dog on board. It has warmed up a fair bit and the dog was glad there was a large puddle near the dam to play in. Logbook is full. Tftc

Returning home from a long weekend out at Avoca for the celebration events. Taking the long route back to gather some more caches along the way.
I can’t stand golf. But when it leads me to a cache I will tolerate it. There is some huge construction going on here for a very small local town. I thought initially this may have been the outcome of misplaced sports rort money but it appears to be local and state funded not Federal. The cache was found quickly just outside the construction gates and with enough natural cover to keep from prying eyes.
Thanks GemmaSistema for the cache.

Lots of construction work happening here and the cache is just outside the fence line.
Found quickly in the dark. No need for a magnet here though.

Despite reasonably accurate coordinates, it took a little hunting because the hint is no longer accurate. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling to Lexton for the first netball game of the season today, we made sure to grab this one before heading off. A quick find by Boo09 and a 24 goal win for U15's. Go Talbot! TFTC
Heading through to Avoca via a roundabout route, we stopped in Lexton and picked up a couple of caches. We are selling our sop in Avoca so that we can travel around Australia, oh the opportunities to pick up so many caches all around our great country. We have driven through Lexton many times and haven't taken the time to stop and have a look around. The area around the Lexton Gold Club and Recreation Reserve is a delightful country scene. The hide for this cache was excellent, and the cache is in excellent condition. Thank you, GemmaSistema, for this cache.
Found while on site for a job today.
Quick stroll over to GZ and nabbed while enjoying the view.
Thanks for the hide.

A weekend away, hosted by the lovely chooknchunk. Today’s guided tour - Ben Major and surrounds.
Just as I was retrieving the obvious cache, Chook revealed the actual original (with not as many names in it). Hmmm.
Anyhoo, I stamped both and replaced both as they were for the CO to sort out.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, GemmaSistema

In Lexton today for a family get together with a relative we haven't seen much of in the last few years. Last time we were in this location was for a wake at the clubrooms after a funeral so it was too busy too search on that day. No worries today, area was deserted making for an easy find. TFTC GemmaS.

Great find on an evening stroll. We were worried it wouldn’t be there with the new renovations happening. Great find
On a trek to pick up some manure for the garden, and of course a cache to keep the consecutive days of found caches running! Had not been able to find this one on a previous visit, but reading some of the logs helped me to work out where I should be looking this time around. Big building works are happening on the oval at the moment, so there are quite a few people around.
Well I wouldn't want to be the pro here. This place has seen better times. I live on a golf course with real greens, this one has sand scrapes only which are challenging to play on.
No one about having a round. Cache was right where I wanted and expected it to be.
Cheers

Wow, the new phone tower is up!! Standing right bear it and only 1 bar of service! Thanks the find, haven’t been home in years!
found by Katrina & Sandy,28/3/2020, a little difficult to find at first, hint made it a bit hard, after reading some activity, someone had made a comment....a hole in one...
Finally... Bingo! We had been there the night before, blaze aid were packing up their final things. We felt a tad silly walking, and poking around in the area. A big thankyou to blaze aid for all your help, what an amazing job you have done for Lexton. ...

A busy spot this weekend with the Lions Club Blaze Aid camp in place. A sneaky find in around muggle Lions. TFTC
Found on Saturday 29 February 2020 at 14:31:59
Unlike most of the recent finders we were here because of the blazeaid camp and happened to find a cache, as opposed to the other way around. Godnanny has been involved with this camp for a while & have been transporting trailers to camps as far as NSW.
Recently the GeoKids decided to have a bit of a bake sale & ended up raising enough funds to donate some eskies & drink jugs for some of the new trailers, we were here to drop them off, with the geokids having spent the morning in Ballarat with godnanny. We couldve brought the next trailer home but unfortunately they were still a couple of days off being ready to go.
Upon arrival we noticed there was a cache super close by! A bit of a hunt ensued for B & C, consulting the hint only eventually made us realise its redundant these days. Eventually c’s eagle eyes spotted it, being close to his eye level probably helped!
Thanks GemmaSistema for placing this Micro Traditional - this is find 1891 for BFMC

Nice quick find at 830pm haha at least blaze aid knew what I was after so I didn't look dodgey haha
I was at the BlazeAid camp set up at the golf club and found this one less than 30m from the door. Thanks GEmmaSistema
Yes indeed this is a Blaze Aid base camp at the moment and likely to be so for a couple more months. However Chook has now become involved with this camp and the camp co-ordinators are now aware of the cache. If in doubt and you are worried about being seen sniffing about, drop into the camp base (about 25 metres from the cache) ask for Janis and explain what you are doing. You might even get a hint for a tricky hide
Quite the sneaky hide, made even harder as this is currently in the middle of a Blazeaid camp at the moment. TFTC
we really made this a lot harder than it should have been. found in the end though ...phew! TFTC
We are heading down the road after the St Arnaud mega event and are on the way to Geelong finding caches on the way and this is one of them. This one nearly fooled us but hubby spotted what I missed. SL TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 14:30. Probably our last as we head home via the shops. We left the cupboards at maccamob HQ bare like Old Mother Hubbard, We have never been interested in golf. Can think of much better ways to get our exercise. Not a soul about, and the grass was actually looking quite green! Our thanks to GemmaSistema.

After caching until almost 3am I crashed in the back of the geo-van for a few hours shut eye, and then headed over here in the daylight to resume my caching adventures, this one took a little circle work before the hide was found.
Thanks GemmaSistema for the puzzle and the hide (and the Mega)

TFTC. We are camped at Avoca for a few nights before we go to St Arnaud for the Mega. The wind here today was quite chilly. Rather than sit in the van we decided that we should finish the caches that we have not previously done in Lexton. Thanks Gemma for putting these out for our enjoyment. All were pretty straight forward finds and all caches in good shape.
Heading slowly northwards towards St Arnaud cache by cache Another detour for a tricky little cache Thanks GemmaSistema

Last time we paused to tee off here, the cache was MIA. Thanks to the prompt action of the CO we were able to sign in for a smiley token today.
Thanks 'GemmaSistema' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! We're a tipp'n it's a miss'n.
Thanks for the hunt anyway GemmaSistema.

This one was literally a bit of a stretch for me and I was glad of help. It’s certainly impressive that this small community has a golf course. It was getting dark but looked green and attractive. TFTC
#16302. Heading back to Melbourne from St Arnaud today and just gathering up a few caches along the way. We have had a great few days up here in this friendly town - I keep forgetting to mention that.
Yes, what a surprise to find a 9 hole golfcourse here. Took a while to spot the tiny container in its cosy hiding place. Signed and returned and then let Maggie have a bit of a run before going back to the car and onwards.
ThanksGemmaSistema

Last day in St Arnaud with Bettyboo3747. Heading off home today.
Just a few caches done on the trip home.
A nice looking golf course! Not a golf playing muggle to be seen this morning though.
After we signed the cache, the dog enjoyed a run on the vacant greens.
Thanks, Robmc.

As we had footy at Lexton today and seeing how this was close by, just behind the netball courts so to speak, we went for a walk, located the cache, signed the log and back to our chores at the footy.

All clear and quiet here today, not a muggle to be seen. Took a couple tries to get to this one, but eventually worked out how to claim the cache. We agreed that this deserves a favourite. Thanks Gemma

Tried for this one yesterday but with a group of lady golfers getting ready to tee off we couldn't really have a good look. This evening as we made our way back home we called back in to give it another shot. With some help with wozzle68's height we were able to pin point exactly where the cheeky devil was hiding today.
Thanks GemmaSistema for the sneaky placement.

Tried this one yesterday but had some golfing enthusiasts eyes on us, so we returned today on the way home from Saint Arnaud and had much better luck. Thanks for the hide Gemma
Suscoe had to revisit this hide after an extended search turned up nothing for us.
A PAF redirected out thoughts and with a new mindset we found the clever hide quite quickly the second time.
Thanks to GemmaSistema for this hide.

After camping at the rest stop last night with ilook4geo, we went back into Lexton this morning to find the other caches available in and around the town area. There was no problem finding this container as there were very few options for hiding places at GZ. The log had two more names written on it and all was put back as it had been found. Thank you to GemmaSistema for placing another cache in the caching scene.
Today was a day of mixed activities with goingplaces2, including caching, shopping and other odd jobs. We found all caches on the list, each was signed and replaced and we enjoyed the day. This was a good hide. TFTC.
Found with MazzyMay. We made the trip to Lexton today to find some new caches, this was the second on the list. TFTC
