Out and about wandering around and decided to go have a look for this cache as it sounded interesting. Took longer than it shouldve to find the puzzle as it wasnt what we were looking for, had something else thought it would be. With two of us helping soon had it retrieved. Clever idea and construction. TFTC

The joys of getting older every day it seems is you come across a cache you have previously done but not logged. Now if my memory is correct is was on my birthday in 2021, l was up this way with family on a small Winter break heading up to Swan Hill then Mildura and then head up to Broken Hill to bask in the glorious sunshine that seems to head North leaving Victoria in a constant state of cold and dreary grey weather until October or there abouts. Now when we got to the gz the cache was soon spotted but that was easy part, retrieving it and adding our names was going to be the challenge! With the patience of a saint and the hands of a surgeon we delicately proceeded to make short work of very clever hide and our boys who were a few years younger back then we overly excited to finally find a clever cache that didn't involve a mint tin or nano on a cannon. Definitely one of the better hides we enjoyed on that day, maybe even had a small bit of wee in their pants with excitement but over all our names we soon added and cache returned safe and sound for the next player. Fast forward a few years and back again for another visit only to find that, gee this looks like a familiar spot l did a cache a few years ago and would you know it... it is the same cache! Arghh, righto back into again. The patience has long disappeared and once had the hands of a surgeon are more like ones that unblocks sewers now and also even a little wee in my pants as we fumbled about to get this cache container in hand, after a few minutes and a few laughs we added our name (again) and continued on our way. Many thanks shack1961 for the super fun hide, fave point added! Now the previous story ended differently than planned as we made it to Swan Hill, actually just over the river for my birthday dinner at Murray Downs Clubhouse but got a text telling all Victorians had to back into Mexico the following morning or they will be shot or something so we stayed a night got up in the dark, fished our face masks out of the bin and fled back across the border before the police woke up! True story... need less to say we never got to Broken Hill and soaked up its much needed Vitamin D and only made it as far as Mildura. We least got to admire the sun soaked banks of Buronga from there. If only l could remember to log a cache when l do it and not years down the track... the joys of getting old l suppose. Found with Happy Feet and previously Moosetash.

Came here during my 17km interstate, Stepping Up to Breast Cancer 114km in August Challenge. I almost had it several times, my best result was only 3 holes away!!! Unfortunately my elderly bladder got the better of me & I had to move on. I'll be back though. Many thanks

18-Aug-24
Loved the construction, not sure I like playing this game with near-frizzed fingers though.

18-Aug-24
So much fun I really enjoyed this one!! It was a super cold morning so it was a bit more challenging with frozen fingers but thoroughly enjoyed it! TFTC

A fun little cache indeed!TFTC

08-Jul-24
Found by The Empire + HExploring Echuca and Moama on a wet winter's day was a journey filled with historical charm and serene beauty. In Echuca, the cobblestone streets and well-preserved 19th-century buildings took on a new allure under the gentle drizzle. The rain heightened the nostalgic atmosphere of this historic port town nestled along the banks of the Murray River - it just made it a little hard to find a heap of tricky geocaches! A lot of fun to be had here. Thanks for the cache shack1961, favourite point added.-M

Found...easy find...but getting to the cache was hard. Found 1 tool and improvised with some others lying around. Great find. Tftc.

15-May-24
We found our way into GZ and quickly spotted the cache. We worked together with some TOTTS but still had some false tries before finally revealing the container.A favourite from us for something different. With a full day in Echuca it was time to get the bikes out and head into town to explore the Port area and town. We managed to complete some Ad Labs as well as puzzles multi and trads along with a Virtual. Not a large number, but some definite quality which we appreciated.A beautiful day and not too many muggles about. We rode more than we were anticipating so were well-worn by the end, but a great day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache shack1961.**SKI Pair****

14-May-24
Was I in the wrong location? I was awkwardly parked in a one way lane blocking a driveway. Found a pair of tweezers, a skewer and a million ants, but no bolt or pipe. This might be, hands down, the worst cache I've dealt with.

08-May-24
During our mini-break in Echuca, we decided to explore some geocaches in the area, adding a thrilling dimension to our trip. Having encountered a similar cache before, we had an idea of what to expect, but this one presented a unique challenge with just one hole to work with. We joked about how a second tool would have been handy, making the experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a great cache find, and we appreciated the adventure it offered. Thank you for the experience!

Had fun with this one..took three of us ..TFTC

Last one for the day as we got to this at last light before tea at Echuca workers. Enjoyed the challenge of getting to the logbook for this cache and fave for your efforts. TFTC!

23-Apr-24
Well the clue was certainly right as it took the two of us quite a while to extract this one from its hiding place.Having done similar caches before we expected this to be a short visit but it became longer when a muggle neighbour approached and asked us if we were lost.So we explained what we were up to and she actually knew about the geocache here but thought that it was no longer active as the original CO had moved away. She watched us for a while and then went back to her nearby house. I think the two very noisy dogs that also live in this short street alerted her to our presence. Thanks and a favourite point for this creative hide.

What a challenge. Looked for ages for the tube till the penny dropped when I was walking away. Kicked myself. I had been well schooled by SciFiRulz in how to play this type of cache. So it was a walk in the park. Thanks for a great cache. FPT

We decided to take advantage of a few days off and come on a road trip we have wanted to do for a while! Why not take a 2.5 hour drive to a place we have never been on such a beautiful day! This is our first time in Echuca, and the drive to get here was absolutely stunning! Soaking in both the area and all it has to offer mixed with caching seemed to be a fitting way to end (almost!) The year!Very clever cache which didn't take us too long to find. Luckily we always travel together so we had enough hands!TFTC!!!!HoodedHooligans (H.H.)

Located the tube quickly. No tools so we improvised like everyone else. First off was muggle friend having ago and he got 3 rungs up on two occasions before giving up. Muggle husband did all the work and retrieved the cache! Needs a new log. TFTC, from Queensland.

Suscoe decided to head out west to Terrick Terrick and then south east to Lockington before returning to Echuca today. It was a delightful day with sunshine, a breeze and lots of caches to find.Lots of green paddocks, a few sheep and some dairy and beef cows and one white goose as well. Thanks to lokkisomerville and shack1961 for this clever idea, we enjoyed the task and had a terrific experience here this afternoon.

01-Oct-23
Easy to find. But tricky to retrieve. Had to improvise for tools as I could only find the one peg

28-Sep-23
Found it, very creative

That was fun, great find. No space on the log though. Had an old receipt that I used and added to it for future cachers

Very fun and creative hide. Naturally took a while to get out, so was happy squeeze my name onto the very full logbook. All in good condition. Fave point from me. TFTC

The house is being painted, we have an excitable puppy, so we decided to go away for 5 days up to Wakiti near Echuca using our Travel Auctions win. Very good value with lovely owners. Virtually no internet though so catching up with logging now.
This morning we were heading off for a day of caching around Echuca and this cache was next after going on the Paddle Steamer with said puppy! We couldnt find all the tools at GZ but were able to use a twig and had lots of fun retrieving the cache/log book, with the occasional misstep lol

With jo2022AUS. This was very entertaining, all supervised by the neighbour and Billy the cockatoo. The neighbour told us it was broken but with a bit of imagination we collected what was required to release the cache. Well, one of us did! The other one gave up. I won't say who!Eventually the cache poked it's head out and it was grabbed with delight and the log signed by both of us.Very clever creation. TFTC

19-Aug-23
Boy were we in for a treat with this find.
Pulled up at gz with TBS to find a lovely neighbour and Billy the cockatoo lurking in the garden. He knew exactly what we were doing.
TBS located the cache straight away but retrieving the log was going to take a bit of time.
The lovely man came over for a chat, said it may have been broken and wished us luck.
TBS was having a few issues trying to get the log out so I lent a very helping hand.
Eventually the log was signed but I must say we were laughing and nearly crying by the end
TFTC this definitely deserves a favourite point

19-Aug-23
Wow how good. So much thought and effort in this cache. Loved it. Only one tool so we had to get a skinny screwdriver out of ute. Log is full. Thank you heaps from WA. a fav point

What a fun cache! There were a couple of tools missing but nature gave us what we required. Played and won, and that ticks off another LGA for me.

Found, signed, and reset!
As the previous logs stated, not all tools are available so you have to get creative!

Thanks for the awesome cache!

Found with LittleBoss2 on our day in and around Echuca. Great idea, shame there's no tools. We had to improvise with magnets and sticks. Thanks Shack

Visiting Echuca for the day with Bogonghazy. Took some improvising as the necessary tools were not available. Fun cache. Thanks

Cache found Razz on what turned out to be a wonderful day of caching.

I left dalerious and Cybergran V to undertake this cache, whilst they were busy with another Big Grin.

Getting to gz a knew exactly where to look, but that was only one part of the puzzle Big Grin.
I saw a near by tool that would help to get into this wonderful gadget, but I needed another. Where do I find another. Well, nature helped me out on that one, and in no time the log sheet was signed and put back into it's awesome hide.

Thank you shack1961 for taking over and maintaining this cache.

Favourite point given.

Out and about for a day of caching with dalerious and Cybergran V, trying to find enough smilies to earn a souvenir that was on offer Big Grin.

We decided that our place for hunting caches would be Echuca, and then off to Rochester Cool.

Somehow, all of us had just enough unfounds in the region to get us over the line; well, almost. dalerious and I figured out when we got back home that we were a couple short, so the mad dash was on to make the cut off. We ended up getting a huge bonus on a mystery ftf, so that topped off the day nicely.

All the caches we searched for today were found, and were in good condition Smile.

Yep Down the street we drove. The cache was an easy find and much fun was had getting to sign the log. A pen, a bit stick and a little stick all helped. Lucky it wasn't any higher as my arms may not have reached!!! Then yes reverse we did!!
Signed and all in good condition.

Our last cache in Echuca today. This one was a really creative cache. We went straight to it but had to struggle a bit to get the cache out. We were just able to find one peg, so had to improvise on our own. Logged the cache and secured it back. TFTC

I’ll be up home in Echuca on the weekend and so will endeavour to replace that missing peg…

28-Apr-23
Used some of our own TOTTs as we could only find one and no bolt.
Very clever all the same. +Wife snapped a few photos of a flock of duck that seemed to have evaded the opening of the season.
With just the right amount of effort, the cache steadily moved in our direction, and the log was stamped.
Thanks for a very clever creation.

Well that was an effort. Thought it would be gone in the flooding but it is just truly riverside now. Took a bit of time to work out the system and sped up once I worked out I could remove the sticks for their holder. Slow and steady! Amazing seeing all the water in the Campaspe too. Thanks.

This is the first Geocache in a long time that I have been starstruck, jaw-dropped and floored.

This is, one of, if not the only Geocache that has ever made me grin completely from ear to ear.

Absolutely amazing. Tftc

My crippled fingers had shocking trouble with the flicking.

02-Oct-22
A day in Echuca and after family time at Twisted science the east went to the pool and I took the geohound for a walk around town to get some caches. Such a busy place but a few caches collected.

This was a Very nice piece of kit - seen before but still well executed. Just as I replaced someone walked out of an adjoining property but didn’t seem perturbed by my presence
TFTC lokkisomerville (and for shack1961 for maintaining)
Log does need replacing

Staying in Moama for a few days to do more caches in the area. What a miserable wet day to be out, we soon got to grips with the cache and signed the log. TFTC and a fav point for brightening our day up.
