such an awesome cache. the padlock however is busted as it doesnt turn 360, therefore it wont lock so that needs to be replaced to get the difficulty rating back to what it is. other then that, thanks for an amazing cache!
Found this one years ago by accident as I used to live right next to it. So Im logging it! Will go visit it again soon

Day #10 Leaping Forward AdventuresAnd just like that leap day is done and dusted! As the next 4 years begin, its time to head out to the Barossa with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506.Unfortunately this cache has seen better days. The lock is permanently unlocked and the roof tiles have disappeared so its no longer possible to unlock if it was. Log signed whilst imagining what it would have been. Thanks ktbfm for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
Adelaide day two: Teamed up with RoamingHowie, Papi4506 & Geoturtle37 to tackle a bunch of grapes and assorted others along the way. This was next on our list before returning to convert more Barossa Grapes into smilies. We arrived and began the search for the combination. Unfortunately, a lot of the info have disappeared. But it didnt matter as the lock was open.I guess this may have been pretty cool back in its heyday, but needs some restoration now. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, ktbfm ~~
Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the concept that we believe was used to access this log book. Such a shame as it looks like it would have been fun. Not very safe today as everything was left open. Thanks for placing the cache.
RoamingHowie, OzHockeyChick, Geoturtle37 and myself set off today to find some high scoring favourites with the Barossa Trail as our main target for the day.We targeted this one whilst in the area. Such a shame it is no longer functioning as intended as it would have been fun to complete properly. Thanks for placing the cache for all to find.
Found in our group of six Queenslanders unsupervised in Radelaide mega'ing while travelling in the Venga Bus. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache ktbfm
SQUIRM are in Adelaide for the Leap Day MegaToday its about Gawler and the Barossa Valley Targeting specific D/Ts, favourited caches, wineries and oldies We spent the day powering around in Staceys Squealing Mum (aka the Venga Bus )It would have been good to see this cache in its heydayThanks ktbfm Find #10848
Day 2 of Team SQUIRMs South Australian adventures, todays area is around Gawler and the Barossa Valley, combining wineries and caching, what can go wrong! Nice construction but unfortunately its not quite in its original state. Tftc ktbfmFind #5399
Found with the SQUIRM team. We've made the journey down from SE Queensland for the MEGA, so booked ourselves in for a week and a bit of fun and caching. Neat little cache house. Favourite point from me.
Found today with jamesta18 on my birthday weekendAfter picking some local sunflowers near by we decided to head out and find some favourite point caches, this one has been in my favourites for a while now, so it was good to check it out Really cool idea, awesome cache One of the numbers was missing but lock was undone, so easy to retrieve log bookTFTC
Found during a caching foray around Nuriootpa. A quicker than expected find here;-) Thanks for the puzzle and cache ktbfm!
A trip to the Barossa to do a bit of shopping and grab a few caches along the way.I think this would have been a great puzzle cache in its day but today, a cache is a cache.TFTC ktbfmKeep smiling
Hanging out in the Barossa for a few days. This mustve been a ripper when it was working.ktbfm, I found Safe House today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!

AussieGal88 and myself are spending our daylight hours going on a trip up to the Barossa for a day of cache finding and also to visit the GeoStuff store.
We travelled around Nuriootpa, Angaston and Greenock and got a total of 17 finds and one adventure lab completed for the day for this pineapple.
This was a well put together cache. Unfortunately though has suffered damage so the field puzzle to open it is no longer needed so could go with some TLC and be restored to its former glory.
AussieGal88 stood back and watched me open it all. I then found it why she was standing back.
A very icky TB was dropped off by her here recently and was still in it. She knew I would get a jump scare from it and so she filmed the whole thing.
I knew she had that TB on her last month because she told me about it so as soon as the jump scare had past I knew why I was brought here.
All in good fun though. Now plotting my revenge...
Thanks ktbfm for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3456 on the 26th of August 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!

TB visit whilst pineapplegoldy made for the find!
For the record, at no point did I suggest to come to this cache. It was indeed Goldy's suggestion, and given it's a great cache why would I object? TB aside, I've encouraged all my cache friends and family to come see this. Goldy just happened to draw the lucky ticket in being the one to find it when Itsy was still there The fact I got to see it live in action, clearly the universe knew I needed a pick-me-up! Also, it was on the spot thinking on my part to capture Goldy meeting Itsy up close and personal, I wish I reacted that way when I found her, alas the arachnophobia took over
The CO is aware the lock is broken and was privately contacted when I found it. They will endeavour to do repairs when they are near GZ

Clocking up cache finds for the July Wheel of Challenges, whilst working toward other challenge goals and milestones!
It's an icey wintery day here in Nuriootpa and being 5.30pm I thanked the universe that the last person here didn't lock the padlock, so it made for an easy cache retrieval
*CO has been contacted as the padlock is jammed and could not be locked.
Definitely worth a !

Remember, if you take a TB be sure to:
- Read the Goal and Description
- Correctly 'Retrieve' it.
- Log 'Visit' for the TB at each cache, event etc. that you go to. Unless the Description states otherwise.
- When you want to put it another cache you 'Drop' it, so the next cacher can repeat the process
This avoids TB's going missing and respecting the TB owner with the kindness they provide by putting them out

Well, we had to work hard for this one including PAF. But stumbled across the correct combo in the end. Fav for the challenge.
Bowerbird to Glenrock
Camping for a couple of nights at the reserve.
After setting up we thought we would commence the Barossa Series. After doing a few we realised that the roads were too wet to complete them as we had already came upon a bogged car.
A very clever hide, been to a couple of Mega events so understood what was required.
A FP given
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

Nice cache, great for the kids. Even Mrs Unssy worked out how to open it. Thanks Ktbfm
A really find and the bonus was we found a TB. Thanks for the effort in maintaining this one. Have a fav point from us.
Ismartis and I have solved all bar three of the new puzzles in the Grape geoart series and are spending the day caching this great series and others around the district so Ismartis can earn her next souvenier. We have thoroughly enjoyed the solving of the puzzles. Tftc

Another cache hunt on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Great cache, loved it, a fave point from us. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-tour. We have enjoyed our time in SA, but it is time to slowly make our way back West again.

After finishing the Seppeltsfield Road Drive we decided to focus on favourited caches as time was getting on and it would be dark soon. This one was next. Hmmmm, so we discovered something early on but how does this help?? Hmmm lol try this, or that, no, oh what about this but which way... no.... yes!! Success!! Fave Point for sure

Nice peaceful cache, laughed when we saw the essentials inside, fav from us, Cheers cobber.
30th of June, 2022, Saturday, I and J plus the little one visited Big Bent Lookout - River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve Observation Point. On our trip, we found 22 caches, including 1 mystery cache, 1 letterbox hybrid cache, 1 multi cache, 2 lab adventure caches, and 17 traditional caches.
This was the fifth find for today.
We selected this cache due to high favourite points.
Parked not far from the cache, and found it easily.
Luckily, we knew how it works. Surprisingly, it was not locked.
There were some ants in there, but not a big problem.
Signed the log. Took nothing, left nothing. TBs visited.
Thanks for the cache, ktbfm. Definitely a favourite point from us!

Fantastic cache! Watched WhiteKatt also get distracted by the red herring while AussieNico went straight to the cache. Love it.
Cool cache, got distracted initially but saw the real one pretty quick! Haha tftc
Great cache! Escape room cache! Out caching near kapunda today with kayche22 and molly. Tftc
DNF be gone. You are now a smile. Thank you to the CO for fixing this clever cache. A favourite point ️
Came today specifically to find this cache before it is completely gone. This cache has been on my radar since it became a frown many months ago. The log is still safe and dry. Changed out a couple of swag and dutifully signed the log. Or else why be there, right?!! Does need attending to now the lid is completely removable? TYFTC SLTNLN and a fave for it, regardless, as I do love these types of caches!
Out today with geo pup in this area and stopped for this fabulous cache, very nice hide, shame about the damage TYFTC
Great Cache, would be amazing if it wasn’t broken. Found with TheCatsPajamas
Found by Mary and David at 10:55. What a pity this isn't working as the CO intended. A wonderful idea, but we were also distracted by the red herring at first. Still gets a FP. Our thanks to ktbfm.
Found with vi187 on our return visit but only because the top was Broken. TFTC
Great field puzzle cache. Spotted the red herring first and tried to open it before realising the real container was in front of us
Unfortunately some previous finders may have been a bit rough and components are damaged.
Enjoying a day in the Barossa with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.

Thanks for hiding. Good to be having a look around the area. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird. Looks like it was a beaut cache and maybe has been treated too roughly.

We played with a bucket that was in some bushes near the cache before realising we were looking at the wrong thing. Worked out the entry after a few minutes of testing. Really enjoyed this. TFTC #150
Our last find for the day and this one's a beauty. We have driven down this road so many times without checking the geo-map. It will always have one of those, 'Do you remember that cache?' moments about it now. Excellent field puzzle.
We found the required info quickly but when we cache we don't look at the hint until we're desperate! So ... solving this cache without the hint is somewhat difficult! So much easier once you've got what you need to put with your answers!!!!!
A FP from us. There's a pretty good red herring in this neck of the woods too ....

Out for a days caching around the Barossa.
Cleaned out a few areas and only had 3 dnfs.
I was here a few months ago and it wasn't broken then but after seeing a few logs saying it was broken I decided to make a detour and pick this one up.
Shame that I didn't get it properly as it's a neat concept.
