We rolled up to GZ, only to find a police on guard right at GZ plus people in the vicinity carrying rifle shaped bags. Ooops, it's gun buy back day in Rolleston, and this is the venue. We'll have to return another day.
Park and grab on our way to Tekapo for the weekend. Nice and easy container to find. Very accurate hint, GPS was off... Left a TB. Both logbook and container were in good condition. Little one was more interested by the workout class and music than the hunt. Thanks for bringing us behind the library.
With second attempt... Yes and coordinates are of...

Found after referring to previous logs and got a further hint from these. Gps cords a bit off. Sl. Tftc

Oh boy, how did I miss this the first time? Yes, the map and the coords pointed more towards the other corner, but I came to look here too.
A bit awkward though because there are always people behind those windows.

Nice easy find while avoiding the looks from people in the library but I think I was all good and the cache was all good and back in place. TFTH

Hadn't been out caching for the day with mum in forever, so had arranged today as a day to colour in the calendar a bit more, and find a whole bunch more caches if possible.
We ended up with about 40 for the day, along with a few DNFs, and ended up somehow all the way in Ashburton - that was not fully expected - but the places caching takes you! Haha!
Was so great to tick so many off, and great to just have a day of annual leave off motherhood too, while hubby looked after little miss 2, so I could head out & play!
Thanks to all the COs that we could have this day!

Geocaching date with daughter for the whole day, yipee! The hardest part was to aim for those neither of us has found, so there was a slight overlap. Great fun and good chats along the way. Quick find here when daughter looked where my GPS was not pointing. TFTC!!
In the neighbourhood with jess.daphne so we checked this out before grabbing a coffee. A productive day gaining most of the nearby glossary series. Thanks for the cache. It was a quick find and whilst fairly public I don't think we were spotted.
Found today with jude_e. Luckily no one was paying us much attention and we found the cache quickly. Tftc!
Today's mission is to find a geocache or maybe two. I have set myself a calendar challenge and today's date has very few finds. It was great to find a good sized container.
Sadly there is no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. I plan on going to the OzGeomuster in July. To find out more visit this site: https://www.ozgeomuster.com.au
If you can't make Aussie. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland. I will keep you posted in my logs.
Thanks for hiding this geocache.

An excellent little cache and not too hard to find as it happened. We were able to use TG's alternative co-ords to take us right there. Just as well as it was absolutely teeming!!! But with the care you gave it to keep it dry, it meant we had a blot free sign. Thank you. Pity those biscuits are no longer, and knowing that we purchased a whole box of them this year.
And out of left field as it were, I wonder if your troop knew that there is a special animal out at Orana Park named after Baden-Powell. He is named BP and he is a 40cm Tuatara and he was presented to the Park by the Scouts many many years ago.

After a couple 9f false starts, then thinking why I play this game/hobby/obsession. I had a phonecall from the ftfers. I didn't need to widen my search much just needed to think outside the square a little more. Great container. Going to miss those biscuits. FP from me for the challenge.

Out on Mad Monday Mission with TG. We were expecting to have to do a thorough search due to all of the DNFs. We parked up and headed to GZ. I found the cache in 3 seconds! We were able to snatch the {FTF} and the head off to the pub. Good fun.
Thanks for the cache sle9158

Mad monday night mission time...been a couple weeks....Even with a few DNFs we were keen for a look, and expecting to search the gardens all around the library. Pulled up into the carpark and wandered over - surprised library still open and people meeting/sitting bang in that corner window...hmmm...dark out so they cant see us, but still feel a bit weird. Hmmm...wandered a few meters further along and came to another garden beside windows; +/- a few meters, lets start here and work back...i had just poked my nose in when TW piped up"got it", holey geepers, got it in seconds. Nice big container too. My gps was showing 10m +/- 6m and TWs was showing bang on...*shrug*...not the glass corner, walk along the path a few more meters (away from the carpark)...851/820 might be closer...

Had 2 other cracks at trying to find this one.. nope definitely not for me
DNF as well though couldn't have a good look as the inside and outside was pretty populated. Will have to have a look at another time but shouldn't be this difficult for a t1.
FTDNF
Hidden more than a month ago and it is right next to these big windows. Not much places where to hide a regular T1.
I left a DNF log on the pavement.
