In Leeds for the cricket and with a spare day I headed out to try a few earthcaches. Managed to walk just over 4klms and pick up 10, as well as virtual and webcam.
All were interesting spots, with some info quickly gathered, some that took a bit of re-reading and research back at the motel. Answers have all been sent and hopefully all is good,
Thanks for the lessons Hillgorilla, something new was certainly learnt.

Plan B today after heavy rain at home put paid to Plan A so it was off to Leeds to locate the 5 new earthcaches. Answers sent to CO. Another excellent earthcache which it would be very easy to walk past and ignore. Tftec.
Again, learning something new! I've probably seen such rings a hundred times before, but have never really paid attention to them before or appreciated what they are. Answers all messaged, and thanks for another interesting earthcache.
Busy structure both upper and lower levels. Answers submitted to the CO.
Easter 2020 sees South Australia hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Check it out. We would love to see you there.

Our final Earthcache of the day, before getting the train back to Carlisle.
Answers obtained and submitted.
Thank you Hillgorilla for the pleasure all of your caches have given us today.

Having dropped Mrs Dimwhit off at the dentist, popped round to do this earthcache. Answers following.
A day in Leeds city centre with my caching pal Simwil (Simon) to, once again, clear it of unfound caches.
Seven Earth caches attempted and I have the answers which I will forward to the CO, on behalf of us both, in due course. In the meantime I'll be cheeky and log them all as found.
Thanks for setting these and giving us an excuse to use public transport to visit Leeds

A day out in Leeds with Kevin of the hairyfairies to sort some recent additions to the map. Now for seven earthcaches and Kevin kindly agreed to submit our agreed answers for both of us. Interesting - a ring structure I didn't know about before.
Found on a sunny afternoon. Thanks for setting up the earth cache. Answers sent via message centre.
Liesegang rings are fascinating when you know about them, having probably walked past many without ever noticing them before. TFTEC. In Leeds for 2 nights in a city apartment which is very nice at Leeds Dock.
Getting dark here but still managed to make out the features. Answers have been sent TFTC
Found this one in the gathering gloom. Fiona has submitted the answers for both of us

Find 22 of 28 today while on tour with South Derbyshire Geocaching. Logs were variously signed SDG or stamped, depending on space.
Our last Earthcache today. I'd see the types of features described in this Earthcache before, but quite honestly I'd always imagined them to be caused by something more manmade (e.g. rust). So it was a surprise to learn more about this type of feature - an education indeed, for which I offer thanks to CO!
SL - TFTC!

We arrived at GZ and studied the stone work and discussed our answers which have been sent to the CO via his preferred method. TFTC

Out with the South Derbyshire Geocaching gang for a tour to Leeds today. A very small and select group comprising of Collie Wobbles, Chramm, A1nnie and Metronauts departed from Burton at 07:30am and arrived at 09:00 at Leeds Station raring to go. We managed a whole host of different cache types today including an event, traditional, multi, virtual, earthcache, webcam and puzzle. There were a few pubs involved which is unusual for us on a tour, but a thoroughly good time was had by all.
All logs were stamped or signed with SDG to save space and any required answers will be submitted by one of the team on behalf of the whole group.
Aha, we now have a number of tape measures. Soon had the required information on this one.

Found the answers whilst on tour with South Derbyshire Group. Answers submitted to CO. Thanks for a great earthcache. We are really enjoying doing these on this glorious sunny day. Enjoyed making use of our new must have geoaching tools - yes that is the humble tape measure. TFTC.
