Came along on a hot day with ilook4geo to add some more caches to our collection. There were a few caches we selected for the day and each found log had two more names added to note our visit. Thank you to Slow Puncture (LJCC) for placing this cache.

Just picking up a few more caches with goingplaces2 while still in the area. We limited caching for the day due to the heat. Logs were signed and replaced as found. TFTC.

I have been eyeing this trail off for a while since I moved to a not so far away place. I need to increase my caches in the Sunny Coast LGA for a challenge and I wanted to get the kids out for a bike ride. Week after week someone was sick or busy. But today, I was able to make it happen. We only completed the first part. There seems to be a chunk of the caches no longer active which is a shame. I couldn't convince the kids to do the last lot so I might make that a solitary trip one day when I am running solo.

After the nearby event and dinner, I returned to the *B/W Trail* to grab 8-10 of the series. I parked at Mathew Flinders Park, and proceeded on foot north. I had always thought that I'd bring Cottontail and my bike to make a morning of this series, but it was just as enjoyable jogging along the old track. As I continued along the track, I departed when my GPSr pointed inwards that a geocache was present. The cache was well hidden in the bushes, but it was only a short search before the cache was located in a logical hiding spot. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [Slow Puncture (LJCC)](https://coord.info/PR7770T) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, with a free work calendar, I headed north to the Glass House Mountains vicinity and attended the [Sunset at Wild Horse Mountain Lookout #2](https://coord.info/GCATD6Q) event. I dealt with the start of peak traffic congestion as I vacated Brisbane, and I just had time to walk part of the Beerwah Way (B/W) Trail geocaches and see the Bora Ring before then admiring the scenic sunrise. It was then an opportunity for a few more B/W Trail geocaches, before returning home.

Headed up to Beerburrum for a day of caching in the area and this B/W Trail was high on our list Smile. The overcast weather made for very enjoyable day and we were pleasantly surprised by a well maintained path snaking through the trees. We tackled the trail on electric scooters which handled the terrain easily and the dense trees provide good cover when a small rain shower passed through.

We passed quite a few QLD Rail workers chopping down more trees and it will be a very sad day when this trail is eventually swallowed up by progress Sad. All the caches were right where they were supposed to be and all in good condition. A fav point for the trail. TNLNSL TFTC Smile.

Spied it from the track

Made the trip down here to do the Bike Trail
The hides were all fun. It is a pity that the road widening has cleared the trees that were once along this route
Hope that the bike path will be replaced.

Time up on Sunshine Coast for a few days and today was to tackle the B/W Trail. I decided to do this Trail while riding my recently acquired E-Scooter. The Scooter handled the Trail without any problems and got thru the B/W Trail 1-12 caches I decided to do today. The caches were easily accessed and did have no trouble locating. Did not feel like anyone was watching me (wait a moment, I did not see one person go past while out doing these caches on the Trail). Signed the log and placed caches back where found. Fourth time at these trails! First time my bike broke, second time we only did a few because of the heat and last week was our third but we ran out of steam with three left to do. So this weekend we are back. Plus hubby wanted to go to the pie shop close by, which he has proclaimed as the best pie shop in Australia!

Saw this one as soon as I left the track. The white label on the lid was like a beacon. Signed the log and decided to see how far I'd walked to this point. Four kilometres seemed a lot considering I wasn't half way through the series. A straight line back to number one was only 1.9. Turns out, I walked two extra kilometres wandering around looking for caches. It's been 18 months since I cached with any real enthusiasm, so I guess I need more practice. Maybe it was all the Bushmans I sprayed around. It's probably fogged my already misty memory . . . yeah, let's go with that for now.

Out and about with Chamad on this wonderful Boxing Day to complete the B/W trail series, Hamilton series and any other caches that were in the vicinity. The weather was perfect with a hint of cloud at times to make the day a little more pleasant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience today and how can you not enjoy the backdrop of the Glass House Mountains, we really do live in such a wonderful location where we can experience places like this. After several hours we decided to call it quits, I finished the day with 30 finds and unfortunately 1 DNF.

Thank you to each an every CO for placing caches at each of these locations and for giving us a reason to visit.

I had contacted Geonayfee and said we hadn’t been caching together for a while did he want to come along for a morning of caching. I had planned to grab “little boxes” and the ones along the trail leading up to Beerburum .
After our success at our first cache we hit this trail thanks to the CO’s who placed all the caches along the way here. We found all caches and some were quick finds and others took a little longer, but all were in good condition and still in play. There were some interesting caches and a variety of sizes and placements, so again thank you. We signed all logs and left caches as we found them. A very nice drive, walk and bike series for us today.

In need of a few smileys for today’s date, I jumped in the car with Jelly the Wonderdog and up the highway we went. It was a lovely sunny day but a bit on the really freaking hot side for both of us. Thankfully there was lots of shade along the track.

Jelly braved the heat with me again and thankfully it was a quick find. Left some scribble and a TB. Right, back to the aircon and a bucket of water!

Second day in Australia. We were up early and decided to go for a stroll along this trail. We left our car at the railroad xing and walked south. At every cache we were looking out for creepy or crawly animals, you know Europeans are not really used to them, but only one grey snake crossed our path twice. From # 18 to # 8 we found every cache easily, not to forget Tibro Views.

Greetings from Germany.

I have not been caching with bb in forever due to work and family commitments and we have finally managed to escape the daily grind to sneak out for a Thursday fun day. The B/W Trail was our target, so we decided to park the car at the start of the trail, then catch the train back to Beerburrum from the Glass House Mountains station. We set off from cache #1 and had a lovely adventure, finding lots of caches along the way. We enjoyed ourselves as there was a variety of cache types, places for food and comfort stops along the way and it was a nice walk. TFTCs Slow Puncture Smile (Sorry about the generic logs - I'm close to a milestone and am catching up on logging).

To Cut A Long Story Short the Longest way is ALWAYS the best way. I had noticed this little trail of caches had popped up around the Glass House Mountains. Now ruzzelz is never one to knock back a nice ride mixed up with a little geocaching. But, what can one do to spice up a ride a little along the way.

Looking at the map I thought maybe we could ride over there,up there a couple past those little hills. Along the way we should get nice views, there will be just a gentle slope along the way. Well that is what I told Beardman when he volunteered to come along for the ride.

Why are you walking Blair? That was the easy bit. No trouble just peddle harder mate I said. It is getting so much easier now, it should be all down hill now, well maybe.

Now that was a top day out, I do like having fun and caching.

I had been able to collect a few in this series through the week, so today I took my youngest geodaughter for a drive and we worked our way along the rest of the trail. I really enjoyed the good containers (and a few quirky ones) and the quick finds. great to have no dnf's! Thanks for hiding and maintaining this trail Slow Puncture; we had a great afternoon Big Grin

I've wanted to do this series for a while now and with the Mystery at the Museum ending in the next day or so, this a perfect opportunity to do both.

I parked the car at Beerburrum station and hopped on the Nambour train up to the Glass House Mountains. After picking up a couple of caches on the way from the station I headed to, what was technically the end, but for me, the start of the B/W Trail.

A nice quick find. Just as I was putting the container back in it's hidy place, I spotted a couple of people with a GPS. Fellow cachers. Had a nice chat with La Kedi and The Marble before heading onwards.

Thanks Slow Puncture!!
