Was at home doing some work on the computer and was deciding on where to go and find some caches for the day, being ANZAC Day, I really didnt want to go out too early as the ceremonies were in full force all over the place and I really didnt want to cause myself any issues. So decided that I would start looking at going somewhere after 09:00 and in the end with the three new caches that were published the temptation was far too much for me to leave so it was time to make my way to Pohangina and see if I could score a couple of FTFs.
After finding GC7GMRE - Pohangina Recreational Reserve (Manawatu), this was the next cache that I had on my list that I wanted to find today while I was in the area. I decided that I would try and find a safe parking spot not too far from GZ, but I realised when I was here first thing this morning that GZ was up a Private Road and when I walked it this morning, I managed to get with 30 metres of GZ, and GZ was up in the bank and the terrain rating would have tripled if it was up there.
Arriving back in the Village I decided to read the cache description and it really didnt make sense, actually, some of it did and the rest didnt, decided to give it 30 minutes looking around the obvious spots but I couldnt findanything. After looking at the most obvious spot, but nothing obvious after widening my location it was time to give it up.
Looks like that this cache may need more accurate co-ordinates
Time to go back to the car and make my way to the next cache that I was looking for.....
