Confirming what previous people have found ... don't think the cache is here anymore. See photo ...
Maybe it wasnt our day, or maybe it wasnt there, Im not sure. We saw the lid on the ground, but no bag or anything else. Some branches have recently been cut down, so we were wondering whether that affected it.
Found on a cold winter’s day.
We found the cache easily. The kids were a little disappointed to find that were no swaps in it so we have added a few.
We enjoyed the walk. In 22 years of living in this area & exploring, I’ve never come across this track before. Thanks rnnheath for bringing us here.

Found the gift but maybe I need to ask for a new pen for Christmas because mine didn’t work took this photo though to show the find.
As per some previous finds, this cache appears to be missing its container as all I found was a log in a plastic bag under what appears to be a container lid (but no container)
Would the CO please have a look at this

Log was lying on the ground. I found the bag and maybe the lid. They're under the corflute now

After the Somerton Park event I took the train down to Seaford where AussieSPARKIE and I spent some time getting caches down Aldinga way.
We made the walk down and after a bit of searching found only a plastic bag with a log book.
Will need some looking into.
Saw some wrecked cars on the way which is interesting.

I heard something about a badge level thingy for writing longer logs... so feel to ignore from this point onwards.
Thanks for going to the effort to prepare, hide and submit this geocache for me to find, another smiley for my geomap.

Your cache has been retrieved and the log book has been signed with the trusty stamp or a good old pen on paper, with the exception of virtuals, EarthCaches and webcams of course.

It was a bit early for Christmas but it’s coming soon, back in the day we would come to Moana with friends on Christmas Day and end up very sun burnt and very full of food and drinks, aah good memories!
During a nearby event this morning we dawdled over with the dog in tow to find this cache, thanks to Saintsno1 for the navigation tip we didn’t take long to get to Gz, found a very damaged looking container then noticed a much better container complete with log book, soon had it signed and replaced.
Thanks heath for the cache.

Nice walk to gz this evening as the sun was setting Its been a awhile since I been on this walk trail, I usually follow the other side further south it’s certainly changed terrain over the years.
I love it through this area
Cache was in good condition considering the rain we have been getting and the trail leading in is holding up well
Thanks for the cache I signed using my pen today

Couldn't find it, looked high and low. There was a spot where I think it may have been but no luck for us. Possibly has been removed.
Found It!
This was my second attempt at this one and this time I spotted it as soon as I got to GZ. That wasn't there last time I was here. A nice place for a walk though.

First cache of the new year! I walked in past the abandoned cars and made the find nice and quick. TFTC!
Found cache fairly quickly this time. We enjoyed the opportunity to walk through this conservation park.
Thank you for the cache and the adventure

We started finding bits of the container 10 metres away! On getting to GZ we found the cache lid and after more searching we found the log. I had a cliplock bag on me so we placed the log in that and placed it all at the back of the pine. Log is ok but new container needed urgently (see pics)
Out and about in Seaford today was meaning to check out the vintage cars in McLaren Vale car accident come broadcast over My station I like to listen to SAFM so change of plans so instead I did a cache or 2 might go to shops at nearby mall soon
I made my way from the car park along the fence and then into the bushland. Nice pine right on the corner here. Thanks for the cache
No cache found either needs replacing or achieving cache appears to be missing
Really wanted to get this one being a bit distant. A walk was needed so off i went to make an immediate find of a damaged container with mouldy log book [:o] It was dry enough to be signed so i SL at 11:37 on Wed 19 Aug 2020.
Replaced so it was facing down in order to keep water out

Found while out and about in the Moana area for the day. Thanks for the cache rnbheath!
An enjoyable walk along the small track. I passed a couple of old rusty wrecked cars and a rusty shopping trolley.
Thanks rnbheath for the cache

I had been down to Aldinga Beach and was on my way home and I had some time so thought I would stop and go for a walk to find this cache. [^]
Left the car at the car park and followed a track to the gate in the fence then made my way along the bike tracks until I got to GZ where I found the Christmas tree and the cache...easy.
Along the way I saw a couple of old rusty wrecked cars and wondered how long they had been there. [?] Also managed to miss the turn off back to the gate so walked quite a long way before I realised. Came across one big roo on my walk and a couple of rabbits.
Thanks for the cache rnbheath.

There seems to be plenty of evidence of people reaching this cache to support enabling cache.

The car parking co ords had me confused. i drove just a bit more down the road to s 35 12.403 e 138 28.318. That's a 26 car car park. Walked up the track to the listed co ords for the gate, as per freddos photo. Passed anymules on the way in. Followed some bike tracks to gz. Using my phone i found the co ords to be out a 2 meters, not 13 meters like others. quick find. Going that way there was no signs stating " no tresspassing ", i guess it's how you approach this cache.
I couldn’t work out where the suggested parking spot was, so drove a bit further and parked at the large car park.
From there it was just a matter of following the path through the area to the indicated gate, then following that we’ll work with food and bike traffic path all the way to the cache.
No signs were seen that indicate that you shouldn’t be here that others indicated.
Thanks for the cache rnbheath.

Find #8896
Today took me geocaching along the beaches all the way down to Moana/Aldinga in targeting various geocaches. The rain decided to show itself in short bursts, but was largely ok in being outside.
This geocache was something to find before it possibly got archived. I tried entering via one of the side streets, but a fence prohibited that way, so ended up taking the CO's instructions to enter via the beach. I entered via the gate's waypoint, followed the paths around to the geocache. Geocache was quick to find, with an obvious tree, and logbook returned. The walk had some interesting old car wreckage that I took some photos of, that were covered in grafitti.
The issue of the property being private seems to have mixed messages, so I thought I would provide my opinion based on my visit and observations.
Firstly, the parking waypoint coordinates need to be updated to something like S 35° 12.401' E 138° 28.319'. The current position is in the middle of scrubland and doesn't honour the CO's comments to enter north via the beach.
With the CO's instructions, Freddo and gridge98 are correct in that if you enter from the beach side, you encounter a gate with no signage whatsoever to indicate that it is private, nor are visitors not welcome. It almost feels like another section to the conservation park.
However, down the two side streets, it seems like where previously the street ends were open and welcoming to visitors (as per the Google maps link I attached), there are now solid fences that block any entrance, with large private property signs as Hurtle indicated.

I tried walking around the property to see if I could get further information to indicate any details, and there was no signage encountered. I took a photo of the solid fence from the property side which covers off the old deadend signage and reflectors.
I suspect the property is probably private, but it still feells unclear. Perhaps if the CO can contact and get further information, or confirmation? The friends of Moana Conservation Park may be reasonable as a first contact. I hope this can be established first, before it gets completely archived.

The sign I encountered near gz is on the fenceline. At that point you must cross a fence, no gate, and cache is less than 20m behind the sign. The photo I posted in my log, is identical to the other signs Davidwazza encountered, and I did also at those street deadends.
So whilst cachers can seem to be able to amble along a track unhindered, the cache is not in the conservation park, as indicated by gz on any map I looked at, or as described by the CO's cache notes!
Now the information is out there, we cannot be seen to be promoting access to an area that is clearly marked private property. IMHO

I had Christmas by the beach once a long time ago now though!
It is all about how you approach this cache if you break rules or not!
Today was a bit of journey, left home mid morning for a nice walk into the city collecting some caches that were in the parklands as well as some trads and multis that I was yet to find in the city streets and alley ways. An event followed to celebrate star wars day, a great turn out in force. Followed by another event up north to say good aye to barnic. Freddo and I soon depearted collecting some unfound caches along the way to the famous from the wine region for a CITO.
All the caches found today were in good condition, May the force be with you!
Thanks for the cache.

Walked to this cache from the car park. No signs at all at our entrance. Seems to be some mixed messages.
Went for the walk tonight, between showers. Some parking co-ords would be nice.
Not having GPSr on me, relied on phone app, eventually spotting the hint in the dark. Probably be much easier to see in daylight! App had me 13m from where actually found.
Upon exiting the bush back over the fence, came across a "Private Property No Trespassing" sign. The GZ is about 20m beyond the sign!
So maybe permission needs be sought? See pic of sign... The intentions are quite clear!

Thanks

*FTF* at 10:30pm. I got the notification of this cache just as I was getting into bed. It was raining but I thought I would still have a crack at the FTF. As I walked to the cache the rain did lighten a little. Cache was spotted quickly in the dark and then the run back to the car. TFTC
