Agree with previous logs, we think it is probably missing since they replaced the phone booth
New phone box so bye bye geocache
Perhaps a new iteration sometime in the future..

Replaced phone booth.
DNF for us today A prev log mentions a fire in the phone booth, we think this cache might have gone missing when they fixed it.

Found It!
Someone has set fire to the phone box but luckily the bit where the cache is remains un-burnt. Although I don't think the cache will survive if they replace the burnt parts at some point.

After searching each of the items present, we knew it was going to take a bit more effort than that.
With a more thorough search, we stuck our fingers in just the right place and soon we were signing the log.
Thanks Cherryslice88 for another very sneaky hide.

Always the dreaded one last cache … no … but it’s on our way.. (we all know that this can be always true as cachers… anything can be on the way…). This is really on the original route… make it quick… so made it quick I did. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Rebel Acts
Out for a couple of hours caching with Omegaman1971, before we headed to the PI event.
This is one of the caches found today.

Loved the story and the choice of where to start looking first. Unfortunately I chose wrong but didn't take me too long after I moved to the correct spot.
2 relics here that I can't say I have used in a long time and who knows if I ever will again. TFTC!

After catching all day and getting DNF after DNF we finally got this one on our way home. TFTC! Very well hidden.
Thanks for the great story and excellent hiding spot. We had a blast working through this one.
This is cool
We just bought my daughter a second hand bike, just around the corner from here. This was our celebratory cache
I remember when we had to use coins or phone cards. It’s great they are free to use now, although I don’t know anyone who does.

I have left a trackable here FOR THE NEXT PERSON !!!!! please keep her going on her journey she wants to hop around Australia and overseas…..let’s watch her journey together
A relatively fast evening park-n-grab, albeit after waiting out a few muggles nearby and then searching in the wrong two places first.
Signed the log, visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache, Cherryslice88.

Finally found it, thank u for restoring the cache. Great little hide. Found with imviogeo TFTC
Very quick find while out enjoying new freedom today. This hiding spot is where I always check first but I've never actually found one hidden there before! Thanks.
Having seen a number of this style of hide - I knew exactly where to look - reached out to grab the cache and....it wasn't there. lol. Looked under, over and around and found the sneaky little container in an unexpected spot. TFTC
That reminds me I need to call home.. Thanks For The Cache hope the co doesn't mind but I put a new log in.
Feel free to take a photo of the cache IN YOUR HAND and send it to me directly seeing that the log book is full and I am unable to get to it for a little while. DO NOT post the photo in the log. Send it to me via the Message option. After you have done that you can log it as a find. Thanks.
After finishing at work, I took advantage of having access to the car to do a spot of caching on the way home. Given my attire, I ended up heading to this one as I sincerely hoped it did not involve mud, climbing, etc. Parking at a deserted GZ, I quickly started looking around. I cam across a pretty angry looking spider, so I decided to use the phone to help me search. It didn't take long before I found the cache. The log is full, and the added log is on its way to being full as well (can future finders ring to log the cache in that case?!).

Out at a family function and nipped out for a quick find. Couldn't remove log as jammed in so took a pic and will send as a message.
Great idea for a cache. I resisted the obvious and went for the more obscure and found the cache almost instantly. I love a cache like this boldly in the middle of the suburbs.
Took a little while to find this sneaky cache. Definitely on the nano side of mini. But I’m still not sure if I’m sending a letter or making that phone call. I guess the next cacher will have to make that decision.
Log was very full so I placed a replacement log in the cache with just enough room to keep original log.

Been eyeing this one on the map for awhile now. Today while heading to see the parents after lockdown #3 stopped by for a quick find. The log is full but squeezed my name in next to Bernie so all good. Nice hide in a spot i intially overlooked.
Day 230 of 365 completed.

I was over this way for other than caching reasons but before heading for home I might as well make the most of it and find a few caches.
I have been to a couple of locations like this one that were hiding a cache and they have all been in the same spot so when I arrived at this one, it was the first place I looked and sure enough there it was.
The log is very full and needs Replacing but I managed to find a gap to sign my name.
**Thanks to Cherryslice88 for placing this cache.**

Out enjoying some recreation in the now expanded 25km zone. Good to spend some time outdoors and good to have some outdoor social interaction after so long.
Not what I was expecting but made the find - a good hide!

This place was a lot busier than I expected so it took longer than it should have. TFTC
Good find. Took us a long time to find. My son told me where to look but I did not understand where he wanted me to search. Should have listened more closely, would have found a lot sooner. He was too short to search himself.
Cruising past this general area, as one does on a moist Saturday night, it made abundant sense to stop in and give this cache a try.
Of course I started with the wrong one. Moving onto the ultimately right one, I remembered finding a cache in one of these in the middle of Darwin. Of course this one wasn't in the same spot. After a few minutes on site I had "aha" moment, said "hang on" out loud to myself (one can get away things on a moist Saturday night in Forest Hill more easily than one can in the midst of Darwin) and all of a sudden I had the little container in hand. Enjoying the comfort and, more importantly, light of the car I dutifully signed the log, returned the cache (which of course involved getting out of the car...) and my job was done.

I had lunch at a nearby cafe and then decided to look for this cache on my way home. I parked in Robinlee Avenue and wandered around the corner to GZ. I searched a couple of usual spots for this type of location without success. I eventually noticed another spot and sure enough it contained the cache. I retrieved the cute little cache and signed the log at 3:10 pm. TNLN. Just after I had returned the cache to its hiding spot lots of school muggles started wandering past GZ. Wow, that was close!
Thanks Cherryslice88 for the good hide. Caches hidden in this type of location often get muggled but this cache is hidden in a much better spot so I expect it to last for quite a while. I used to have a few penpals when I was in my early teens so I wrote lots of letters then. However, when I got to to my late teens I spent hours on the phone talking with friends. These days I don't write any letters at all, just geocaching logs and lots of emails and texts like most people do now that smartphones are used as the main form of communication.

Oh my how the world has changed in the few short weeks since I found this cache.
I had been caching around the Wonga Park area with Rebel Acts and Omegaman and was heading home when I got a message from my regular caching partner, ilukaperi. She was bored at home, so I swung by and picked her up and we went finding caches.
Yes, the talk for the day was a lot about Coronavirus, but lots of jokes about toilet paper etc. No hint of the chaos that was about to befall us over the next couple of weeks. So we had a lot of fun just freestyle caching.
This cache gave us a few headaches and we obviously choose wrong the first time, but after moving on in our search I had the little thing in my hand and we signed the log and replaced.
I am in the fortunate position to have numerous old drafts still in place that I haven't written up and so I am sitting down and writing up one log every week or so, through the corona virus situation. Therefore I can feel some sort of semblance of normality.

So I was bored and day1976 was heading home after caching without me today. He detoured and picked me up and we headed up the road.

Not only is it a joy to see this without it being vandalised, but it actually works as well!! Enjoyed the walk and the cache location and the fact that I found the cache. Hooray!
On the way to the shops and stopped here to pick up this cache to fill another day on the caching calendar. It was Mrs Pooky who made a relatively quick easy find. A great little container in a great little spot. There are not too many of these relics around now. I remember when they used to be everywhere. TFTC and the memories.
Having dropped the kids at my folks for a few days I wanted a cache or two on the way home! Quick find here, onto the next!
In the area with Kylie and Cody putting some smiles on the map.
After a short search we had the log stamped.
Cheers for the cache

This was a nice quick find as there were not a lot of places to search. Thanks for the cache.

Stopped in here with a couple of minutes up the sleeve while on errands in the area. Grateful at 19:00 on a Friday afternoon that there was no one about, allowing for an uninterrupted and detailed search. After checking the more obvious spots and not seeing the cache, it was a matter of a more detailed hunt and luckily came up with the cache in about the third place looked.
Thanks for the fun find Cherryslice88!
Had some trackables picked up in Karratha in iron ore territory in WA and they visited here today too.
Cheers

Don't put your fingers where you can't see when you can use your phone camera to explore instead! Spotted the cache this way. Here in the company of quiet1_au, and the last cache for today as I was on a very tight schedule. TFTC
Time flies when you spend too long searching for a simple cache, so it was that the hour lochb had free this afternoon was over so we detoured on the way home to pick up this one. GZ seemed logical but lochb sensibly warned me to not put my fingers where I couldn't see them and instead the search was carried out with technology and she spotted the cache (I must have missed it by mere centimetres...) Find 499.
We found ourselves in the area by accident tonight, present hunting for an upcoming event.
With that accomplished we search for 2 nearby caches to help bring up 500 finds.
I feel less like a newbie now.
We don’t normally target micros but we are glad we did today.
We liked your cache container very much.
Favourite added. Thank you.

Quick grab once we eliminated all the non-hiding places. A couple of throwbacks to an earlier time. TFTC.
10 Oct 2019: Streak Day #224/366 (1 March 2019 - 29 February 2020). A quick find here, glad the technology is much better now. Thanks for the cache Cherryslice88.
Waited for one muggle parked right nearby. Was soon left in the quiet company of abandoned shopping trolleys and signed off conveniently.
So nice to go from blue to yellow!
Miss Learner was happy to navigate the back streets of Forest Hill after we failed to find King Oyster Mushrooms at Strawberry Point (we then scored some at the Burwood One asian grocer). Happily, this led to a drive-by caching. One of the cutest containers I’ve seen! Glad I could make the find this time around.
Can’t think of the last time I used a phone booth (or a letter box for that matter). I have memories of camping grounds when I was little, with queues outside the phone booth at 5pm as everyone phoned home. Hard to imagine now!

Well if one cache resolves the find for this month then the second must be just for fun! Or maybe it's a spare in case the first find cannot be counted (that's happened to me before!)
So after completing some important morning activities I was heading home and thought I'd grab the backup target cache even though I'd been successful this morning. As for my first find I was lucky enough to find the area around this cache to be clear of people do I could search uninhibited, starting with the 'correct' item, '... Choose Wisely...' so had the nice little container in hand, and a log completed before some local school holiday bike riders made an appearance.
Thanks Cherryslice88

We arrived at GZ and understood the naming of the cache. A quick search located the cache and we were able to sign the log. I had moved back to the car to sign the log but then had to wait for a few minutes to replace due to a muggle slowly walking past. TFTC
This was my second go at this one as it had gone missing last time. On my way home and still light (about time) it was the perfect time to make a call. parked right there but hey someone in the booth. Very suss, nobody uses phones booths now except us. Pretended to be using my phone and I realized who it was. Nice to meet up this you both. Nice easy but good hide. Thanks for the cache Cheeryslice88

It had been a very big day!! So heymissjo and I caught up for an after work cache, and this one was ideal for our needs today.
It was especially notable for being my quickest find ever! I just happened to put my hand straight on it in the first place I checked -and that NEVER happens!!
But nothing ever goes smoothly for long. And so as I rolled up the log, I smudged the ink into an illegible mess.
Hmmm...
Oh well.
So after a quick fix, it was time to replace the cache. Only now a muggle had parked right next to us and was seemingly watching us and waiting for us to finish!
So much for a simple "quick find"!!
Heymissjo and I went through a short routine of charades in order to replace the cache unseen while under watchful eyes. Then we returned to the car to begin our online logs.
That's when heymissjo realised that the 'muggle' was actually xambo4u! We had a nice chat before she took care of the geo business at hand and drive off into the sunset.
She actually did, lol!
Thanks, Cherryslice88, for this neat cache which unexpectedly unravelled into a rather fun chance meeting with xambo4u.
