Logs
In the vicinity today - dropping my daughter off for her last day at Copeland College Cache found quickly, safe, and sound. TFTC flintstones.
I checked on the cache and it was indeed missing. Replaced now in the original spot with a slightly new construction. All good to go again. Cache on.
Cache has been missing for more than 18 months. A need maintenance already logged months ago and 7 dnfs. It's time to archive
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
DNF today, and one of the kids was very unlucky and picked up a white stemmed gum moth cocoon from one of the nearby trees. https://www.csiro.au/en/news/All/Articles/2012/June/insect-of-the-week-white-stemmed-gum-moth
Been 18 months since last found. Maybe the CO can do check to confirm it's still in place.
Found with ElephantElla42. No muggles other then the 2 playing tennis on the other side of the trees. Thanks for the cache
A lovely day for cricket, with this geocache providing a good chance to watch some local cricket. The batting side were stealing singles aplenty and there was even the odd big hit for four (no sixes though ).
Fortunately that same game distracted the local muggles sufficiently for us to go fishing and make the grab unnoticed. The cricketers buying dominos for lunch was also a highlight. TFTC.

Found on a caching run up north. I came here a year or two ago but had no success with the search. Today it seemed much quieter so I parked in the shade and took time to search around properly. I scrolled through heaps of logs to get a better idea of where it may be and sure enough, I had a winner eventually! Cool hide. TFTC Flintstone's (hope you're well mate)!
I have been told it ia missing. So deactivate it for now and will check on it.
Read the hint as was standing next to GZ, which led me to a quick find. Nicely hidden and worthy of a fav point.
Thanks for another one Flintstones....log is a little wet but still able to be signed.

Found at 3:07:00 PM
Helps if you read the hint properly. The words I missed reading were "on or". Then it was found. Log was wet despite the bag, so I only initialled it.

On a quick caching loop around Evatt & Melba, grabbing everything worth grabbing.
Nicely done, log a little damp but signable
Nicely done, log a little damp but signable
Clearing some caches around this area. After GPS locked on and search found it. SL and replaced. Log was very damp. TFTC
Log is very wet and plastic bag is split. Tried to dry the paper out as much as possible but didn't have a replacement bag small enough. Nice spot. Tftc
Decided to enjoy the day off by getting out and about and trying to grab a couple of caches
Another good one left in the burbs for today's quick clean up run. After reading the hint I looked around the nearby structure but then after reading some logs I looked at the sat picture to see the exact coords. Should have done that in the first place... clever little cache and my 1400th find!

Did take a few minutes, previous logs provided a push in the right direction, and we eventually found it. Very cool little hide. TFTC
Erg. My 4th attempt and more than 1 clue from a fellow cacher had me on top of it.
My coords were consistent 15m out near the crn of the building. And with the clue I was waaaay out.
This was a good hide ruined by this experience.

Checked on it and it certainly still there but quite hard to see even if you know where it is, so raising the D rating on this a bit.
A good hiding spot, with enough cover to not be spied by the local cricketers. Found the container half sitting in water but it was well sealed and the log was dry.

What an interesting spot. A nest of Finches were not happy that we were near their nest. TFTC
I had a pleasant morning on my continuing mission to collect Belconnen region caches. Once my phone settled and pointed at the correct area I was able to find this nicely hidden cache quickly. Thank you, Flintstones.
Was unable to find the cache on my initial search, so used a phone a friend and asked DeadThief to drop back with me. As he had found this recently it was confirmed that the cache was not attached as it should have been. After fishing a bit was able to retrieve the cache. Surprisingly the contents were dry, so completed the log and had the Thief connect it as it was intended. TFTC
Found this cache with EMPEATREE yesterday, but did not have my device with me to log. Just remembered now. A nice quick find.

A quick easy find.
Great spot, very interesting and a buy waterlogged. Sat in car for ages waiting for muggles to leave.
Plastic bag for log is busted tried to wrap up as best as possible. Felt like log was slightly damp. Probably due to all that rain we have.

After the gps sent us around in a circle for a bit we finally found it’s hiding spot. Log is full
Since the maintenance and last find the log is seeming fairly dry. With all the water and rain the area is a bit wet but the cache is safe. TFTC
After the recent alerting log about water issues, I went to check on the cache and am happy to report that all is well and isopedas solution works reasonably well so that I left it. the bag is probably (and hopefully) no longer needed if someone finds it too annoying take it out.
Thanks Isopeda for helping out with the cache.

Found it, but currently
[Edit] accidentally clicked 'send' and with c:geo I can't edit on my phone. [B)]
I was going to write: .... currently drying out the log sheet as I found the cache dropped off its perch and submerged in a deep puddle. I had to use my TOTT to actually find it. It's probably good to put the cache where it's supposed to be, not 10 cm lower.
I added a (appropriately sized) ziplock bag to the log, just makes it tricky to put it all together again. Because it was saturated a lot of the names have bled through the back side, but there is still a fair bit of space for signatures.
Had been in the area for the CITO today and even though there was a sport event going on, all the muggles were paying attention to their sporting offspring and not to the odd person looking at their phone next to their car....

It took awhile for the GSP to settle but once it did the cache was soon in hand. TFTC.
We had my daughters daycare mascot with us for the week so we decided to take him geocaching. This was a quick and easy find.
Thank you
Thank you
Really enjoyed everything about this hide...except the rain!
Not sure if finding it in the dark brought the joy, or the craftiness of the hide.... favourite point from me! TFTC!

With the Murrumbidgee River most likely in flood today we abandoned our solitary cache walk down to 'A Low Point in ACT Caching' - so it stays on our bucket list for now. Instead we headed for north west Belonnen to walk.
Before coming here we walked around the old Belconnen Sewerage works and frog ponds where we saw Ginninderra Creek flowing rapidly with obvious signs of recently significant erosion along the banks. No frogs croaking today but lots of bird of many differing species. We saw amongst others the Little Pied Cormorant, Hoary Headed Grebe, Magpies, Doves, Galahs, and we think Brolga Cranes. A favourite point on 'Old Belconnen Sewage Treatment Plant' for all the Flintstone's caches found today.
Quick stop off on our way to the '.....dam dam dam'. Again trusted our GZ for a quick and easy find. We love this kind of graffiti so thanks for bringing us here today. TFTC Flintstone's.

Cache 5559 on 13 Nov 2019.
Back in the country after an amazing work trip to. Rome, and back on the usual treadmill of work and play. Glad to be back and getting into the groove, for a few weeks at least!
This cache: looked for this one before with no luck. I changed maps and Lo, the GZ became very clear, so it was a quick retrieve this morning on my way to the airport (local trip for work)
Thanks Flintstone's for the cache and the fun!

Familiar spot (missus used to live near here), and the cache was quickly found once the taxi at GZ departed.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Interesting little spot, took me a lot longer to find than it should of. Thanks Flintstone's
A nice piece of art here. Quite a few muggle kids around on the sports field but no problems searching at GZ. Coords were good and the clever hide was soon found. FP from me and TFTC Flintstone's

Plan A for today was to 'place' my virtual, but conditions were not favourable enough, so it was on to plan B: find as many caches as I could before and after today's CITO. A quick find here. TFTC.

I know this place very well, both my mum and dad are keen tennis players, and I used to visit this club often when I was a kid and also played. Have watched many games, done training, played many games and even been for social gatherings! So it was nice to come back to this familiar carpark and find this cache instead
Thanks Flintstones, I had read the logs back at home before driving here which were very helpful and led to a quick find
The other building near the oval has even better art!

Our first cache find since returning from our US/Canadian holiday. Quite a few of us here. A quick find. TftC
Just watched the geo wife play the end of her tennis game and then asked “is there a cache around here?” You bet there was, TFTC!
Thanks Barny a great cache which looks to have stood the test of time in a rather busy environment. Tftc sl
Out with Youban for a morning caching run. The sunshine was warm and cool wind didn’t really matter.
The art on the building is rather good. I like those who make an effort with their art.
We came here on the way to getting lunch and although the hint was spot on it still had me looking on the wrong spot and we should have trusted the coords. Once we did that we found the cache instantly. Nice hide really. Tftc Flintstones!!!

Swung by this one with GLISS! and Nibletricecakes after grabbing a couple of others nearby.
Nibletricecakes had found this one previously so she enjoyed having a game of "hot & cold" with us here. GLISS! quickly spotted it and then deftly fished it out for the signing. Good to have this one found and then we were all off to our warm homes.
Thanks for the hide, Flintstone's

After completing the night cache in the next suburb, SpecimenX, Nibletricecakes and I drove over to collect another smiley. NRC had done this one before and I had tried but failed previously. Cache was soon found thanks to some encouragement from NRC and SpecimenX's thoroughly excellent gps. TFTC.
#5283 Out for a spot of Monday Geocaching with CBRChic today in an attempt to make a dent in the "Mystery at the Museum" challenge. We only had a couple of hours today so not that many finds, but it was a lot of fun. School holidays and cool conditions generally made for muggle-free locations.
Thanks Flintstone's

Got a call from Geo buddy StangeTrousers asking if I wanted to go grab a few and have a go at the Mystery at the Museum series. "Count me in" so after pick up in the geomobile and my updating my version of geocaching on my mobile - so that is why I could not find the series. Then it was off to GZ and a start on the trail.
Thanks Flinstones for putting this out and giving us another place to visit and put a smily face on.

Decided to find a couple of caches on the way to meet a group of cachers and Muggles at the pub
TFTC - This one was second ... then it was time to head off to meet the others before they left

I headed out for an hour of caching to collect museum clues. This was my third clue for the museum heist.

Out grabbing some caches with the FFLL ladies collecting some of the caches with clues. With all 3 of us searching around, FFLL#2 came up with the goods. Thanks for the hide Flintstones
Out getting some clues today in the lovely heatwave we are having.

Today saw me needing two caches for a challenge I'm working on, also thought I might see if I could find something with a clue for the new souvenir challenge too.
A short opportunity to find a few caches and lucky me, I've driven past this twice today and it's just down the road and on my way! A quick find was welcomed as it was FREEZING outside today! Thanks for the nicely hidden cache.

Visited with Trodectus and Decrypter on my way back to Sydney. Parked nearby and walked to GZ. After a short search, cache was located, log signed and returned. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000 and Decrypter. C and I arrived at GZ moments before D got there. Our units hadn't quite warmed up so we started our search a bit away from the hide. Once D arrived things settled and soon after we had CIH. Log signed and C headed home while D and I headed for lunch. TFTC.
Found with Trodectus and Coybear2000 Trodectus found it after I pointed him where to look. Interesting graffiti art. (see picture)
Clue (hint) is good and helped us to make a quick find.

#9233 - 09:50; Out on a quick morning run to collect a couple of caches around Belconnen. Plenty of activity near GZ today and parking was at a premium. Luckily there were no roaming muggles near GZ and after a bit of searching, I spotted the tricky hide. Log signed, it was time for home and a few non-caching activities. TFTC Flintstone's
Out for the day on northside, quick find and placed back where it belongs TFTC Flintstones
