After the lockdowns are finally all over, the vircus has been able to leave town and Mr TiedyeSmileys has left with them
It took me forever to find this, I walked circles around it looking in the wrong spot
Figured out how to use it and quickly retrieved the cache. TFTC

Found with geo-hack during lockdown exercise. Log was full, so left a strip of paper. The old log is being held onto by Mr Tie-dye Smileys, hoping it will be collected sometime.
Went out on a quick ride around Mulligans for some outdoor time, sun & exercise. The cache was a surprise, finally something more than a typical hide. I had a few goes... the head hits could have created something interesting for those into phrenology
Loved this cache, gave me a good chuckle. Lovely container in a beautiful reserve, what more can you ask for.

So a bit of mining completed, a little wildlife spotting done, it was now time to check out the local circus. Lifted the lid on what was required and started with a few practice shots. Once the level of power was sorted, the neat cache was soon in hand....even though I just managed to catch it before it returned itself to the starting position. Log is almost full, but I managed to get my name on the bottom of it. All a bit of fun of course.
Thanks for another fun little cache TDS.....must come back out this way again sometime soon. Another fav...

Found! I just made a cache like this myself, but now I wish I had found this one first! Love the concept.
Awesome gadget cache! I like nice contructed caches and this is a really good one, come with the kinds and enjoy, I certainly did. A FAVpoint coming your way. Thanks for all the great caches out here!!!
The day :
An impromptu bike ride in Mulligans Flats this afternoon. Did a shortish loop with lots of caches to collect, 14km and 4h for 21 GC caches and 3 GCAs, some really nice ones out here and a very lovely scenery. Found all but one GCA cache and had a lovely afternoon of excercise.
Thank you TiedyeSmileys for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Found on the cycle out to find some of the caches on the extreme eastern side of the reserve. A straightforward find at GZ and a very cute concept - thanks TiedyeSmileys!
Found while out exploring getting taught about headache this was our ever one to find ourselves
Awesome idea. Great to see the unique concept. A beautiful little echidna was nearby. Thanks
Found with [@Decrypter](http://coord.info/PR75QXD). We decided to head out this way for some exercise and to get this cache. D hadn't done some of the nearby TiedyeSmileys' caches, so we started with a couple of those. We saw several mobs of kangaroos and wallabies as we went about our way. Once at GZ we knew what was needed, I had done a similar cache some time ago. Soon we were watching the acrobatics and had CIH. Log signed and we headed back. On our way we saw a couple of bettongs. TFTC, I'm giving it a favourite.
Another fun cache, took a few tries to retrieve it. Poor bloke seems to have his hands tied, doubt he's doing this willingly.

Finally decided to get back out to Mulligans Flat once again and clean out the newest caches by TiedyeSmileys! Bucket list hides that's for sure, after finding their other caches in the past! And boy was I not disappointed!
I started off with the mining cache! Arrived at GZ and something odd was spotted quite quickly. Although still to this time, I have absolutely no clue how you managed to hide this cache, it looks like it has been this way for several years!? Brilliant cache though, opened it up and another surprise presented itself, how awesome is that! Can't believe the amount of work gone into these caches!
I then headed off for some wildlife spotting! Seems a muggle has found WP1, signed a piece of paper with their names that said "Log missing, replaced". However I knew this wasn't the cache / log, as it didn't make much sense. I still had to ponder over this for a couple minutes until it finally clicked. Wow, how clever is that, incredible! Definitely one of the most creative multi's I have ever done, and the red herring is a challenging addition!
I finally headed off to join the circus. How could these caches get any better? But I think they did, as this one surprised me once again and is probably my favourite of them all! Embarrassingly it took me way too long to even find the cache in the first place, especially with all the logs saying how obvious it was.... lol. I then got down to business and worked out what was required quickly, that was a lot of fun and I love the extra detail too.
Absolutely brilliant caches once again, a favourite point from me for ALL 3

I was walking back to the gate from one of the other caches out here and noticed this cache right beside my track, so a quick stop and investigate, and the cache was soon signed. TFTC
Oh this is hilarious. Out on an icy evening walk with GLISS! and K8TYBEE. I had no idea of the fun that was in store for us! Searched and searched in every nook and cranny and then GLISS! Found the very very obvious hide. One two three.. peeew.. cache in hand and ready to sign. Such a fun little cache!! A favorite for me. TFTC
Nice cache here, very fun. Went to Mulligan flat today and this was the last cache of the day. I really liked this one. A walk off the track and came to this one. It blends in very well and is quite difficult to pot which is surprising for a cache this size. FAV!! Removed top once found and pow!! Me TiedyeSmileys Went flying. Signed and replaced. TFTC TiedyeSmiley!!!!!!
Saturday afternoon stroll with GLISS! and nibletricecakes along Mulligan’s Flat to pick up a few caches the chill factor certainly reminded us it was winter . This was a very creative and fun group of caches. TFTC.
Out this afternoon with nibletricecakes and k8tybee. We had a lovely afternoon. What cleverly constructed hides. Such fun! Tftc
Another great cache! Looking forward to finding more of Tiedyesmileys caches.
Another brilliant cache! It managed to elude finding for a short time but soon enough the circus was on. We had a lot of fun here before signing the log. Tftc
A delightful afternoon out in Mulligans. Loving these cooler smoke free days One of my favourite finds of the day!
fitzy_1965 and I were up early and on the road to get to Canberra for a day of Leap Day caching.
CITOing done and some general chatting before we left for a long walk around Mulligan's Flat Reserve to help us get 10 types in a day accompanied by Smittengranny.
What a cool circus act. Didn't take long before we were part of the fun.

20,210. Found during an epic days caching (mainly with minniek and smittengranny) while celebrating the elusive 29 February.
Last time round in 2016 I went for numbers (before today I had 118 caches on 29 Feb), so this year I went for cache types - managing 10 ! After ticking off a CITO and a Virtual it was off to Mulligans Flat (I love caching around here) for a bunch of other types. Next one along our track was this fun little traditional. We carried out the required actions and were soon signing the log.
Thanks TiedyeSmilies !! Fav Point !

Another fantastic cache deserves another FP. Thanks again for the effort - so much fun to find something like this.
I know that people choose to cache in different ways and never has it been so obvious as today. So many turned up for the CITO but then dispersed in all directions to attempt to achieve their goals for this Leap Year Day. I was fortunate enough to be able to travel with Minniek and Fitzy_65 and we were after 10 different types for the day. This was #6 The cache was found in good condition and duly signed before heading off towards the next one. TFTC TiedyeSmileys.

What a great cache. So clever. Out with Kittykatch getting caches for Feb 29. Loved you series another fav from me.
Suffering from cabin fever due to our wonderful Namadgi NP on fire we were relieved that we could get some exercise in Mulligan's Flat today - total fire ban lifted. We picked a location with a variety of caches planning to stop when the rain was too heavy. Unfortunately the rain stopped all together but it was a good cool brisk walk all the same. We walked some 8.5km over 3 hours with just 143m of ascent/descent collecting trads, multis and a wherigo. It was more fun than expected with such wonderful interesting caches on offer like this one. All the caches in this series deserve a favourite as they are clever and fun however as the points are limited we will place one on 'Mrs TiedeySmileys goes wildlife spotting' for all of them. Just wish I'd had my grandsons with me today.
WOW! This cache was fun. It took us a little while to figure out what to do until we realised that the top cap had been put on so that we could not read the instructions. We have put it back so that the next person can follow the instruction. It wasn't a big deal but could have saved us 5 minutes as we were trying to be very careful to not break the contraption in the first instance. Fortunately one of the group discovered what was required just before we gave up. Lots of fun seeing the circus clown launch so well. TFTC TiedyeSmileys.

Great fun! We have used the magnet stick to pull it out, because it was stuck. Now it's working again. a favo!!
9228 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1205.This was a bonus find for us as we hadn't seen this on the page. Had a laugh as the boss started his projectile flight into the air. Got to see a Bush-thicknee or if you like a Bush Curlew roosting in the grass here. All in good condition. SL Tnx TiedyeSmileys
I braved the cold, the snow for these three new caches in Mulligans Flat. Each one deserves a fav. Even better than the last and the most difficult in trying to catch at the right moment. TFTC.
A beautiful spring afternoon and a geocaching and wildlife spotting adventure in Mulligans Flat beckoned. I was rewarded with three echidnas, a bearded dragon, lots of wallabies and kangaroos and four of the better caches I have ever found. A most excellent outing!!
This is a fantastic, clever and well set-up cache. Absolutely worthy of a favourite point. TFTC

A half day of caching in Mulligans Flat with kiteslayer. This cache great fum and a fav from me. TFTC.
Doing some caching in Mulligans Flat with NavJim. MrsTieDyeSmileys sprung to life when given the opportunity. Thanks. What a great cache. Definitely made my day find these last three caches.
I laughed out loud after I’d realised what was required and went through the process to discover this cache. Something about this cache, in this location just really tickled me. A fave point for sure.

After lunch with friends nearby, we went for a walk in Mulligans Flat. They were keen to see a geocache so I brought them to these 3 new ones I hadn't yet found. All 3 were great caches to use as examples of geocaching. All get favourite points from me. On our 3km walk we saw 2 echidnas, a shingle back, kangaroos, wallabies and a couple of bettongs - the first I had ever seen. TFTC.

Such a fantastic cache, I'm still smiling thinking about how awesome it was and how it brought a smile to everyone's face in our Women's Adventure ACT group. Definitely a favourite for me and can't wait to take friends out for this find to watch their face too
Out with fellow caching novices from WAA. Perfect day for this little bit of unexpected fun in the sun.
Cache 5429 on 24 Aug 2019.
Today was a day where I did not think I was going to find a cache as I was leading a group of 25 women on a walk around Mulligans Flat teaching them how to geocache. But lucky for me, I saw this relatively new cache on the map and steered them towards it via a few others on the way. When we got there, they were confused...is this the cache? I had to confirm - yes, it was the cache, and um, this might be the way to get the log....! After a couple of goes, the circus trick worked and the cache was in some very impressed hands!
Thanks TiedyeSmileys for the cache and the fun! Have another FP from me!

Out for a Friday afternoon walk after working from home all week to find this alien cache! Awesome TFTC
#9455 - 12:21:00 PM; Another 'top up' day on the geocaching calendar and despite the threat of showers, I decided to return to clear some of the closer to home caches in Mulligans Flat Reserve. Last stop for today's mission and another amusing effort from TiedyeSmileys worthy of yet another favourite point. Managed the retrieval and happily added my name to the log. TFTC TiedyeSmileys
So much fun finding this one.
Loved it.
Thank you for all the work setting this up.

I spent my last day in Canberra finding a few spread out caches and looking at some tourist spots. (As much as I hate pausing the geocaching, sometimes life takes over!). I’ve always wanted to join the circus. Unfortunately, I have no talents that lean towards that career move. Thanks for placing the cache TiedyeSmileys.
Icy but wonderful day with my lovely Emma, Master 6, Miss 3, and my wonderful Geocaching (and biological) brother, Strange Trousers.
Loved these series and the thought and commitment that went into building them. It was really great to have thoughtful multi stages and leftfield ideas.
A huge mob of roos allowed us access, even if the buck was in two minds about it.
Loved, loved, loved these caches. Thank you TiedyeSmileys so much for the love you put into them. The children adored them.
Inventive and fun. The children are too used to batteries to appreciate the potential energy. Thanks

Found on an awesome caching run in Mulligan's Flat with sebass14. Arriving at GZ we were amazed at what we found. After a few attempts the cache was retrieved. Have found similar caches before but the additional decorative details made this one much greater than the others - very, very fun! Again, a beautiful and peaceful location for this cache as well. TFTC TiedyeSmileys!
I've had a nice little pocket of caches appear in this area so was keen to come find them. We have been having some lovely winters days lately and a walk about the reserve seemed a nice way to spend the morning. So with GreyHams we made plans for this morning to meet up and made our way across for an enjoyable morning out walking about the area with some great creative cache hides to be found and of course some good company too!
A change to the weather saw us arrive with the cold wind blowing right through so I was glad of the last minute beanie I had grabbed, regretting leaving the gloves in the car for a bit but once off walking and with plenty of banter and conversation the cold was not noticed and soon forgotten. (Was still pleased for the beanie though!!!) Thanks for the cache, TiedyeSmileys, I really enjoyed the effort and creativity of your caches we found, some of them quite large!
Mr TiedyeSmiley provided the entertainment for us today, what a fun cache!

Today was the perfect day for a pleasant walk around Mulligans with Aquilus1... ok, maybe not perfect.... but it didnt rain at least. It was bitterly cold when we started with the wind cutting right through us, but we survived.
I have very few cache finds up this end of town so I was up for the loop, we did well. So many cool caches, some of them really should be 'large' I feel, as the enclosure counts.... not just the log container. Anyway, lots of cool caches up here.
Nicely done again, Mr TiedyeSmileys has a bit of a spring to him, another FP

I always like this style of cache. Took a little while to get the cover off, then an easy retrieval of the cache. Good to see more than just a bare container as well.
Thanks,
Thanks,
#5153 7th for today
It's been quite a while since I've done any serious caching in Mulligans. It seems most of the originals are now retired and a whole bunch of ones have appeared. I live just across the road (and down a bit) in Harrison, so after lunch I popped over to grab some of these. Rather cool today with no sun or wind so can't complain too much. All in all a very pleasant way to spend a winter's arvo.
When I saw this I thought, I hope I don't need water. No need to panic, it soon become obvious what had to happen. Fantastic ! What a joy to find in the bush.
Thanks TiedyeSmileys

3/6 Today
Riding along from Bonner into Mulligans - I saw the signs about the closures. I made sure to check I was in and and out by 3pm
Incidentally, I think I rode past Mrs TDS as I headed into the reserve!
This was a fun cache to find. The lid definitely needed some assistance to enable the trick to be performed - and a bit of a vigorous pull and the cache was airborne and I was able to catch it
This was a fun cache. TDS - you never dissapoint. TFTC guys

A well crafted container which took a bit of working out before I managed to sign the log. TFTC TiedyeSmileys
Cold, wet and windy, a typical Winter’s day, cept it’s not Winter. Had some spare time this afternoon so a quick tramp across the flats. Had to be relatively quick, apparently a strict enforcement of the opening times is in place, don’t want to be locked in. Once at GZ it was a quick find. Had a little play then log was signed. Appreciate the effort in the construction, a favourite added for the sound effects. TNLNSL TFTC
As the rain stopped and the clouds parted, the sun came out, but the wind also started up and the afternoon was very chilly outside indeed! So anyway that didn't stop me sending a quick message to Tankengine to see if he was up to grab a couple of caches we had discussed doing last week, but didn't get a chance. Thanks TE for another productive and fun afternoon, full of freezing adventures!
Another fun cache to do here. It didn't take long to have the cih and signed. Another top cache TiedyeSmileys. Time to head back to the warm car, or so we thought. My phone battery was playing up and went from 44% to 10% in less than 10mins, but that wasn't the only issue with it. The time had gotten away from us more than we had realised and as we were just going by my (now we know) broken phone and TEs GPS, we unfortunately didn't make it back in time and found the gate locked! It really was my fault here. If we had just done the one cache we came to do and left... I could have left these to do another day... we wouldn't have been in this mess. So we rang Canberra Connect for help. We then just had to wait until someone came to unlock the gate. It was really cold by this stage with the clouds covering the sun and the wind blowing freezing air and it didn't help that my geodaughter kept ringing my phone making it down to 4% when we were soon rescued by a really nice gentleman who was really polite about our stupidity. We walked really quickly to the car and were so greatful for the heater! LESSON TO ALL - Keep an eye on the time and MAKE sure you are out before 3pm, not 1 minute after! Tftc TiedyeSmileys!!!

This one was a huge favorite for the geokid, TYFC smiley, such a great set out here!
Chooo ooo [FTF] on a lovely sunny Sunday morning! - Especially seeing that the forecast was for rain! I saw these new caches come out, and decided that I would like a walk in Mulligans Flat, so why not head out here! It was a nice walk. The cache was found very quickly! Now, I don't always give favourites for the container, I prefer to save my favourites for 'Location'... But Mulligans Flat is a nice location, and I really did enjoy this container, so a favourite from me! Thanks TiedyeSmileys!
