We enjoyed our trip north this morning, finding a number of caches along the way. This was one of them. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks COGM Committee 2019 for the cache.
Easy park and grab this one. Parked the car, looked out the window and theres the cache.Apologising in advance for the boring boiler plate logs.Day three of a two week road trip. Collecting as many LGA's as possible, (aiming for fifteen).Today is a travel day, so only a couple of finds today. I didn't know that driving was so tiring. Thankfully the Jericho Blackall power trail was a good excuse to get out of the car and walk around for a bit.TFTC
Heading from Tambo to Augathella for a few days . Stopped with the van on OK. Soon, we added our name to the log
Found on a sojourn all around during QOGM 2023 adventure. A fun jaunt with lots of dust, mud and starry skies. Thanks artesiancacher and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! Found with e.gregory1 on a trip through Broken Hill, Tilpa, Bourke, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall and Barcaldine to attend the QOGM at Longreach. After QOGM I travelled solo to Emerald, Biloela, Monto, Gayndah and Kilcoy on my way to Brisbane for a few days before a return drive back to Adelaide via the north coast of New South Wales, central NSW and the Riverlands. We spent two solid days of entertaining caching in the area around Charleville, Cooladdie, Augathella and Morven before heading along the Landsborough Highway to Tambo and Blackall. Thanks for the cache QOGM Committee 2019!
Found as I travelled up from Adelaide with FeatherWaite to the QOGM event at Longreach. The plan was to head to Cunnamulka via Broken Hill and Tilpa, then up to Charleville to complete the caches that had been published since we were last there a year or two ago. From there we were planning to go to to Longreach via Barcaldine, although the exact route would depend on how much time we had available. The weather was a little warmer than we had anticipated, but it made for some pleasant evenings as we camped out along the way. Most of the caches were found without any issues and were in reasonable condition unless otherwise indicated. Thanks artesiancacher for the cache.
On our way to Longreach for QOGM2023, Imbunda and I are grabbing caches that we missed on our previous trips out West for QOGM. Was getting late last night, so just headed into Tambo to find a bed for the night.Today we have backtracked 20klm to the caches we missed. Made a quick find.TFTC QOGM Committee 2019
We are heading up to Longreach for the last QOGM with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 naturally stopping to grab any caches that come on the map aiming to get as many LGA's as we can.Unfortunately we didn't make last the last two years QOGM's but at least we have been able to come back and pick up some of the many hides for the event and pretend we were there. This was a nice drive picking them up and all were found easily, a couple gave us a little bit of a hard time but with this many eyes searching it's hard for them to stay hidden for two long and all now contain our acronymTo save room in the log we signed PDGC (Papi Drove Geoturtle Crackers)Many thanks for time, effort and expense put into this trail.
Heading to Longreach for the last QOGM with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506.We stopped along the way to pick up a few caches and signed the log as PDGC.(Papi Drovers Geoturtle Crackers)Thanks to all the Co's for making this trip, more enjoyable. Signed and replaced as found.
The local crows, and other carnivorous scavengers must love the steady stream of traffic along here, providing them with genuine meals on wheels. So sad to see so much of our native wildlife decimated in this way.
Thanks for a quick find here for icybeetas and I to convert blobs on our maps to happy faces.

32,715. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 11. Well the trip was well and truly underway. I have never been to a QOGM before, and since this was the last one I decided to head up there for the fun. We continue heading north cleaning out as many caches as possible along the way. This was the next find of the day. A quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, usually as F65 A33, replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks QOGM Committee 2019 !!

Accompany with DeafVW, DeafCat, and DeafPhantom. I am appreciative of them because they are young and have more energy and good equipment as I didn't bring Ladder with me.
Handy one of them can climb, so I just stood and watched.
Thank you for organising the cache and hunt.

On the hunting trail with SeasonedBird while on a slow roundabout route to QOGM 2023 at Longreach. After 5 days on the on the JPT trail (and still one to go) it’s off to Tambo for a couple of days to check out the Tambo Teddys and the daily chook races. Of course I’ll be grabbing whatever caches I can find along the way. A quick find here. It’s a great day for caching.

For anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australia’s only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
And for anyone that can travel to Longreach, Queensland, late September 2023, Google “QOGM” which is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. You’ll have at least 8 or 9 days of pure geocaching fun with around 200 like minded people attending a mix of events and access to over 200 geocaches placed by the QOGM team. It’s not a Mega, it’s better.

We are now on our way to Longreach for the QOBM event next month. As we missed the big event here, it was now time to grab some of the caches around the area. A big day today, doing part of the triangle puzzles qne up to to Tambo.
Stopped off here and made a quick find.
Thanks artesiancacher for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Cleaning up all the great caches put out for the Charleville and Blackall events. We were overseas and weren't able to attend. Thanks for hiding.
Just happened to be a bit of traffic when we stopped. Hard to look inconspicuous on the side of the road. I’m sure people must think we’ve stopped for a toilet break.

Hello fellow geocachers!
We embarked on an exciting adventure today, determined to find this hidden gem of a cache. The weather was perfect, with a gentle breeze and clear skies, adding to the thrill of our search.
The journey to the cache was an adventure in itself. We followed a winding trail through a sparse forest, carefully stepping over fallen logs and navigating around prickle bushes.. The scent of kangaroo poo filled the air,.
As we approached the cache coordinates, our excitement grew. We noticed the cleverly disguised container tucked, blending seamlessly with its surroundings. Kudos to the cache owner for their creativity!
The location of this cache was absolutely breathtaking. We were rewarded with a panoramic view of vast nothing in particular. It felt like we had discovered a secret spot known only to geocachers, and we soaked in the beauty while signing the logbook.
A special shout-out to the cache owner for maintaining this hidden treasure. Your dedication to the geocaching community is truly appreciated. It's because of people like you that we can enjoy such amazing experiences.
To all future geocachers who stumble upon this cache, we hope you enjoy the adventure as much as we did. Stay determined and have fun exploring the great outdoors.

QOCM this year (my second) had a very slow start. With the first couple of days I was a little under the weather & mostly house bound; I was appreciative of the group to battle on without this key member ??.
The weather has been perfect & the cache hides great as usual… some more great than others. I don’t recall any DNF’s but then again, who wants to!
The gadget caches were fabulous, the challenge caches challenging and will remain so for a while yet as I try to qualify. Therefore, a bit of work to undertake.
Once finally in the field I signed as either Muggle 65 or MB&C2 on muster days. Thanks to the QOCM team for putting on another great event.

Out west QOGM 22 finished the muster and had a day of rest! Headed to Tambo to pick up the caches around there. Beautiful little town. Tftf signed the log as Munna Culla Snack Ninjas
Cache nicely placed, traveling with Tenkae and Geopuppies again, enjoying the scenery and the great company
Day 5 of my QOGM adventures with Willis007, Chamad and JACS as the Charli-Villians (caches signed as CVs). However, some caches we joined forces with a bigger group of people and to save space on the log paper and time in the field, we signed as Outlaws (particularly for the MT triangle puzzle series). We completed some caches around town, the MT puzzles, a trip to Tambo area and finished of things in Morven now that we had mobile phone service. Lots of fun, lots of laughs, lots achieved. When we work together, we work productively to get everything done.
A huge day today completing the Murweh Triangle with a side journey back to Tambo to pick up the remaining caches I didn’t get to a few days ago. For such an ambitious goal, we decided to join forces with the CharliVillains and Simber15 and call ourselves The Outlaws for the day. An early morning start saw us head firstly to Augathella before deciding that we would have enough time to add Tambo to the day. After lunch there, we collected the next leg of the triangle on our way to Morven. With time ticking by and an event back in Charleville to get to, we left the Morven caches for another day and proceeded to collect the remaining caches all the way back to Charleville. We timed it perfectly to arrive back just in time to head straight to the event. A fabulous fun day. Thanks artesiancacher
An epic 500km adventure to complete the Murweh Triangle via a side trip to Tambo! They say there is safety in numbers and so again we teamed up and formed a convoy of 3 cars - this wittled down to 2 cars after the first leg as MrWindy opted to bring EagleEye09 back to base camp as she wasn't feeling great. I then jumped into the back of DiSisters car and on we went. Working together we logged all caches as 'Outlaws' or 'The Outlaws' for simplicity.
We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.
Day 6 of our trip saw us travelling from Charleville to Tambo and picking up caches along the way. Some quick puzzle solving was needed as new ones were published while we were still in Charleville and they were going to be on our journey to Tambo today.
All caches were found in good condition unless stated.

GT37 and I left for a 4 week holiday and it is over 2 months so far. The Townsville Mega was great and then we seem to have taken a wrong turn, North instead of South. Now. . . . . which way will we go. Nice quick find. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

Hi there artesiancacher.
We found your cache **"Chevrons"** today.
As there was no traffic as far as the eye could see, wWe stopped on the side of the road here to answer a call of nature. We sure didn't expect one caravan and two trucks to stop and check to see if we were OK. We're glad they stopped, but profusely apologised for the inconvenience.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache exactly where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container & log are in good condition
Thanks for the hunt today,

Today was the third day of my little journey to and around outback Queensland. While I’m not in a hurry, I do have a list of caches that I do want to collect along the way and probably some extras as I see fit. It won’t be hard to continue my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day challenges for the next few days, I am also hoping to pick up a few new challenges along the way and some target caches too.
After my great night stay at Lake Broadwater, it was time to move on and head towards Tambo which is my goal for today.
A quick grab here and on to the next, some familiar names in the log. All good with this cache and with the log signed I returned it as found; thanks for placing it here.

This was a long distance driving day today, with ilook4geo and covering about 700 km with a grand total of 12 caches found. We have cached along these roads before, so just picked the odd few that were still unfound. This was the an easy find. Log was signed with both names and all was replaced before we moved on again. Thanks go to QOGM Committee 2019 for putting this cache into play.
We drove a long way today with goingplaces2 and collected some caches along route. It was a lot cooler in the car than outside, so that was good. The caches found gave us reason to stop occasionally. Quick, make the find and get back in! OK. TFTC.

We left Tambo early this morning, 7 am, which I just had to agree with as I wanted to stop numerous times down the road. Why? I am sure you can guess. This was just one of the stops where I managed to convert the green box into a happy bright yellow smilie. Thanks to all involved in the placing of these caches. The logs now carry my name though usually as SG.

TFTC. We had left Blackall this morning heading only as far as Tambo. The intention was to complete all the outstanding caches in town and to head toward Augathella to complete the caches south of town. A successful day running into micaparamedic and smittengranny. 15 out of 15 in a couple of hours . Thanks to the QOGM committee for putting these out for our enjoyment.
QOGM 2019 has finished and it is now time for us to continue onto the next step of our journey. We are always concerned about parking when we have the caravan in tow but this was not an issue here or at any of the other caches we have collected along this stretch of road today. All cache containers and logs are in good condition. SL TFTC
After QOGM19 had finished Snickersallen and I were heading homeward and stopping off at selected caches. Quickly found this cache and signed the log before replacing g as found. TFTC.
