Taken out of area. May pop up again in another form someday.

Cachers have mentioned feeling unsafe in this area.
Cache is disabled until i can find the courage to go get it.
Have a new spot in mind with a friendlier car parking spot.
Will run it past the reviewer once its in its new spot.
Could take a few weeks.

Interesting area with rather interesting characters popping in and out of the bushes here and there. Strangely, this cache was right in an area that appeared to have a very well-worn route to somewhere. Hope it doesn’t get muggled.
A fav point for the cache, but not the area.
Cheers Washawa

Not sure what happens in the car park here at night but it has been mentioned that the area could be unsafe at night. Use your better judgment. Daytime cache only thanks.
Knox Police (03) 9881 7000 would love to know where the weirdos are hanging out.

Again, the work put into this cache is wonderful, location no! No! No!

Thanks Washawa for Hello?

We were out to find a caches not too far from home and parked near GZ. The car park was had a few vehicles and we realised that there seemed to be a few dodgy men around. We headed off to GZ and found the interesting container quickly. After a little investigation we had the log in hand and were able to sign. We replaced everything and headed back to our car. Another great cache by Washawa. Not too sure about the location at the moment - I actually contacted Parks Victoria and they are well aware of what goes on in the area but apparently rangers have little effect. TFTC

In need of a cache (or two) today for a Calendar Challenge I am working on... and having to go across town for a couple of appointments, I looked out some convenient caches to my route and came up with this one. So with a few minutes to spare between appointments, I pulled up in the car park, avoided disappearing down one of the many huge pot holes and set off in the general direction of the cache.

After avoiding a muggle doing "I don't know what", I was able to head into the scrub for the cache... an easy find although the coordinates did seem to be out a bit (not that I entirely trust my iPhone for accuracy). The next problem was getting to the log sheet... the "obvious solution" didn't work but after a little more exploring I hit upon the way in.

Thanks **Washawa** for an absolutely fabulous cache... I would give it a Favourite Point if I had any left... so it will just have to wait for a while!

After tinkering around with the cache for a bit, I finally noticed something and the logbook was soon in hand. Very well built. All in good condition. Fave point from me. TFTC

Quite an interesting cache.
A lot of work went into this one.
Thanks for the cache Washawa

This bamboozled us at first, but a hint from the CO set us straight- pulling! Not pushing! TFTC!

A beautiful sunny day in winter, what better things to do than cache! Once at GZ, it took a while for the penny to drop! Great ingenuity. Thanks Washawa.

Fun find!

Last cache here for GJMMelb and I today, the three of us headed to GZ where J' spotted it about 10m from where our GPSs said it ought to be. This one had all three of us a little baffled but G' eventually found the "key" and at last it opened (I think we all tried it but there's a little trick/knack to it) A fun bit of construction work - a favourite point from me once more. TFTC Smile

It was great to get back out Caching today with quiet1_au after an enforced break and so we enjoyed the fresh (quite fresh!) air. This was next for the day and was an easy find even though the GPS said it was 10m away. So, ok the find was easy, but access wasn’t lol. We tried this and that but eventually G gained access with the right knack. Very cool cache and we are loving them all.

A very cool cache. Fav for me. Thanks to Washawa for the placement and fun.

Another of Washawa’s excellent constructions. And a devious decoy within. After removing a few of my grey hairs I soon had the log in hand. SL. TN. Left a TB which has its origins in Malaysia thanks to BernGPS.
Thanks Washawa for the hunt and chase.

*15 Jun 2019, Found @ 11:26 am, Find # 9343.*

I headed out today with a couple of goals, the first being to find all the Washawa caches.
After finding a couple from this CO a couple of weeks ago, I had to come back and find the rest of them.
I had now moved on to this area and this Was the next on the list.
I headed in and once near GZ, the cache was quickly spotted, over I went to check it out, now what to do a short while later I was signing the log.
Another well made cache from this CO.

**Thanks to Washawa for placing this cache.**

Quick find although 15 metres off from GPS. Then the troubles began - hoped to solve this one to save for a calendar gap, but no ring tone whatsoever.

A beautiful day for finding caches. After an awkward interaction with a muggle (who may have been searching for a different kind of adventure) I found myself at the cache. Tried a few ways to place a call then had the log in hand.
Another excellent cache!

Found on 11 Jun 2019 at 11:28 am.
I had some time in lieu off work and since today was really good weather for winter I went out on a bike ride since I had been neglecting my 15km zone and a lot of new caches had popped up.
Before I arrived I was expecting some like Paul the Ball's old "Hotline" cache but it wasn't. I won't say any more so as not to ruin the next persons experience. A favourite from me.
Thanks Washawa for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found ages ago but am catching up on logs. Although I can't remember, I'm certain we wanted a fav point for all these in this little series as they were brilliantly made and very funny! These are being added to our fav point IOU list. TFTC

A recent 'interesting' experience in Koomba had lead to me being seconded by heymissjo as an ad hoc bodyguard. It's not a role I would have ever pictured myself in, but I'm prepared to give anything a go if there's the promise of a cache at the end of it!
So it was Queen's Birthday when we ventured down here. The weather had cleared from the morning storms and had now become somewhat mild for this time of year.
At GZ, our initial investigations failed to reveal anything. But when we expanded the search zone a little further into the scrub it appeared.
Wow! That's an impressive looking cache!
Oh wait... It gets better...
It's a 'gadget cache'!!!
YAYYYY!!!
However, I'd already struggled with a Rubik's Cube and Tibetan singing bowls this morning. My form wasn't great...
I looked at the cache and pressed this, and poked that, and even tried twisting the other thing... when heymissjo reached past me to reveal the wonderful solution to this gadget with her very first attempt!!
The Force is strong with this one, lol.

Thanks so much, Washawa. So much ingenuity has gone into this cache. It's a veritable work of geo-art and a real joy to encounter!

As for Koomba...
Despite it being Queen's Birthday, we didn't come across any queens. But when we emerged back on to the track from the bushes we did come across a 'black duckie', which featured further in my log (#1646) at Orange Tree...

“Hello Washawa?
It’s Mister Doctor here.

Wandered down the main path here this morning, found the smaller path, and then circled a bit.

Headed a bit further East to place the call. Lovely mechanical work!

You still there Washawa?
Good. Just wanted to add that the STD log is quite ironic - this patch is a well known gay beat. Very quiet today, but might not always be the case.

Anyway, thanks for the chat and another ripper cache!”

Next stop and we located the cache with no troubles. The kids took a few minutes to get the container open. They thought it was very cool.
Thanks Washawa for the cache

Another great cache! Came out hunting it with The Welder. Love your work! Thank you

I was eager to find a couple of the new washawa large sized caches in this neck of the woods.
I'd been to Koomba park for fleabag's insect series without coming across the....non-geocaching activities that take place around here. Thankfully n0w0rries was around such that no interest was shown by the other group in us today except for when n0w0rries was attempting to access the cache.
Waving off a query I swapped duties with n0w0rries and promptly opened the cache. Sometimes it isn't about a mechanical background but simply pulling on things Wink

Hello?
Well. This is quite a busy beat!
Spotted from many metres away.
After I tried unsuccessfully to place a long distance call, my caching accomplice for the afternoon joined the party line.
Fending off the inquisitive others like mosquitoes in a swamp, we soon retrieved the phone bill and recorded our call.

Thank you for placing and maintaining this Large geocache for us to find, Washawa.

Nice weather for Melbourne given this time of year so the geofamily decided to do a bit of geocaching in this part of town. We have seen a few of the CO's caches before so we know this should be something special and its fairly new. The CO did not disappoint on this one that's for sure. Everyone had a go trying to make a phone call but with little success. Finally I had a go and voila. Log signed and replaced.

Another great cache. It didn't take us long to figure out how to make a long distance phonecall A favourite point from me . Thanks for the cache Washawa

When we came to this one today there was someone with a brush cutter near by making us wonder if we could get to the cache. Fortunately the person was far enough away for us to get to it. Thanks for the great hide Washawa

At first it was so disappointing that this cache was released while we were on the other side of town, but we knew that this new cache was going to be special and that it had to be done!

We even ran into the CO shortly afterwards!

FTF!!! Been a while since we last achieved this.

A great little field puzzle located near to our GPS’s idea of Gz. Spent a few minutes trying to make the gadget work before discovering a NEW LOGBOOK!!!!!!

Thanks for a great nighttime jaunt.
