We stayed over night at a the Lake Placid campground. After returning our camper van and on our way to the airport to fly home, we searched this cache. It took a long time until we tried it on the other side of the road. Then it was an easy find. Thanks a lot for this little 'box',Murkel,on tour with Muckel1 4. Oktober 2024 13:03
This is the last day in Australia. We stayed with our motorhome in a campground in Lake Placid. After returning our motorhome and on our way to the airport to fly home we went to this cache. It was a bit difficult by foot, but we managed it. The box found Murkel quickly. Thanks for the cache

Tried to find a spare spot on the log but my pen was not working either. Interesting Geocaching history
TC1 Remembered - found. But Oh-O, I did not remember to bring along any spare micro logs, as this one is full. Photo attached for proof of find. Cheers, FTC
Found after walking along the road from the airport, pulling my suitcase along behind me.

The DownUnder 2024 team is travelling in Australia and New Zealand. We also used our stopover in Doha to cache. We met interesting places, friendly people and we had great experiences. Some caches led us to beautiful areas, historical events or hotspots on site. I try to publish my own pictures in the log as far as possible. Sometimes I also stand in logbooks with my nickname, often I have renounced to save space. We agreed that only one desired answer will be sent at a time. I hope all owners also think rationally. Thanks for all the experiences.
We are also part of the large tour group from Germany and passed this cache today. We are from Ismaning/Bavaria. We had a great time in Australia. For reasons of space, we have entered the logbook as **DownUnder 2024**.*Greetings from the sunny south of Germany.***Thanks to all owners for caring and caring.****IN: NOTHING****OUT: NOTHING****TFTC Leilah03***A game for all ages!
Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we went around Cairns with very interesting excursions.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.

Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.
We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. The logbooks were mostly signed under the teamname "Team DownUnder24" and answers were sent to owners for the group, as appropriate. This has been a great trip with a multifold of new impressions and experiences.During our stay in Cairns we had also the opportunity to visit some caches. This cache was today among our finds. Thanks for leading us here and showing and thanks for the cache.

New Zealand ????, two goals for me so far unattainable that I can now remove from my spoon list thanks to the best hobby in the world.Where can you find 37 enthusiastic travel participants with the same interest?Exactly, at Cacher-Reisen??.And so we are here and explore the cities, landscapes and beautiful nature. As a group, we register in the logbooks with Downunder2024 to save space or not to blow up the email account. Many different cache types are on our list, the old cans from 2000/2001 to fill the Jasmer or even to close the last gaps. Here, a great variety is offered in both.T4t$ says viko76 from Berlin/ Germany

The GPS had me searching in the middle of the road. Thankfully I didn't search long before moving to the correct location and finding the cache
Glad I read the comments by others as it was very small and difficult to spot. TFC
A day around the northern beaches and up to Kuranda late in the afternoon. I got some good butterflies today dk my cache count was a bit lower than hoped.A quick walk from the last one. Had read some past logs and so knew where this would be and it was right where I expected.TFTC Arachnauts
Quick find while on the easy to the car rental. Thank you.Logbook is full so I squeezed into field number 6
Tough one here. Walked up to get my rental car and stopped on the way. GZ is on the traffic island but after reading logs checked north side and then south side where I managed to finally turn up the nano..thanks.

After trying to grab this one during the day and being buzzed by muggles mercilessly, I decided night time would give me the break in traffic I needed. I arrived at GZ pretty confident of a quick find and searched in the usual places, then the unusual places, then the not likely places. Heading back to the car I grabbed the phone and started looking through past logs. Slowdog held the key to the mystery. This cache has suffered a big of cache creep. Not sure how, but maybe someone decided that the new location was a bit safer. TFTC SL - S44

Thanks Arachnauts for the cache. It’s #1656 for us. We found your cache on 3 September 2022. Took a while reading the logs. GZ is definitely off on my iPhone. No need to go onto the road from the cycling/walking path
I have passed this street about half a dozen times in my short week here.
One visit was due to me not hearing the GPS lady properly and this street was very frustrating, as there is no where to turn around until you get to the airport!
This time I visited on foot on my round about way to walk to the promenade. The GZ was a bit off but the cache was spotted quickly between light changes and many passing cars.
Thanks for another visit.

Super fast find thanks to spoiler photo. Thanks! Drove past here on Wed thinking we were flying home to Melbourne but out flight was canceled and we are enjoying six bonus days in Cairns courtesy of Virgin Airlines.
Under the cover of umbrellas and in the rain, we made a find here.
We are gradually getting to know our way around Cairns, and are enjoying exploring as much as we can.
It took a little searching, and having read some previous logs we thought it would be a good idea to bring a replacement log since we have a couple of spares with us. There is now a new log sheet in the crafty little hide which should keep it going for quite some time more.
Thanks Arachnauts

Found the last empty spot to sign the log, which is falling apart. The paper needs replacement.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 21. Cairns section Day 5. After the first of two dive trips, I had two days in Cairns. Today I set out to work out some multis I have struggled with along the esplanade. I am sure I have failed to work them out before, but this time after carefully reading all the instructions, I was able to work out some numbers that when visited mostly matched the supplied images. It is great to get these off the list of caches to do. I also did some beer labs and a few other scattered caches. It all took longer than expected, but I am happy with the outcome.
Fortunately some one mentioned which side of the road it was on so it did not take too long to find the cache here. A very busy set of lights.
Thanks for the cache Arachnauts

Grey Nomads travelling around Australia - more recently, just Queensland, and of late, Cairns, where we are based for all of March
After a beadle around the esplanade, where we had previously found most of the traditionals, we ended up here. Parked nearby and wandered to GZ, which showed nothing. Checked out every sign and eventually found 11 metres out! You can't turn left here. Signed log but it is wet - log is full needs maintenance. Rubber seal is missing
Thanks arachnauts - we are back.

Happy Valentine’s Day. Geocaching in Cairns in summer after 10:00 is true love in my books. Another beautiful sunny day in the tropics. We parked up and walked back, a kind cyclist called out to check that we were okay as we tried to look inconspicuous at the lights. There was finally a break in the surprisingly steady flow of traffic for a Sunday. The geohusband was quick to find what we were looking for. We carefully unscrewed the nano only to find the little log soggy and too fragile to unwind. Unfortunately we weren’t set up to do any maintenance. Maybe it will dry out in the Cairns heat?? So we snapped a photo and put the tricky little cache back. Thanks for the cache Arachnauts.
This was a DNF for me the last time I searched for the cache, for the coordinates kept directing me to the center of the road.
So I needed a hint from a previous finder to finally located this devious little cache..
To help others, the background image in the photo is spoiler to where to look.
