Wow.. I do like to boost the stats, especially when I am still very green to this!I could see the GZ from afar showing my instincts are not too terrible, but thought I was to go deeper than I needed to, until I cleared away the part that was the odd bit out, shortening my expected find time dramatically!

Fun find for the kids, but had to be wary of the plovers nearby with their kids!

6th of 8 found today.Nobody around today. Last time I was going to attempt this one there was a picnic nearby... So all to myself today and a quick find.The cache was in good condition.TFTC Mr Windy and the bas.

Despite having been in Belconnen for a recent CITO, I hadn't yet stepped foot in the massive shopping centre and decided to rectify that seeing as though it possessed the closest Kmart, and I could grab some groceries while I was at it.I left in the late afternoon and foolishly did all of my shopping at the beginning, leaving my streak find for after dark!This seemed like a fairly accessible hide so I decided to head over here and grab a park nearby that didn't seem as though I had to go through any paid boomgates (whether or not that spot was paid itself is unknown to me - whoopsie, too dark to check!)I was a little confused about the coordinates at first, although one landmark immediately stuck out from a distance even in the low light.The phone torch was used to scrutinise it, and it took a lap before I ended up back where I started from a different angle that ended up revealing the hide sitting quite simply in place!It is certainly all about the stats when you've got a streak to maintain, and this cache extended it to Day 110!Thanks to Mr Windy for the hide here!

Accio 15:02:39Down to Canberra for the Mega, T4mmmy and I were staying less than 100m from here - so a quick wander over to check it out. I for one love my stats - I collect, monitor, target and plan massive efforts around some of the most obscure geocaching stats. And I love it. Every one of them excites me.I also have a soft spot for the Bureau (no, not that The Bureau, this the Bureau) - so a perfect combination for me here.And what's this? Found a clever cache, and the previous finder was over a year ago? hmmm ... there's actually two caches here. What seems to be a newer replacement (I would call it a throwdown, but seems the CO did it?). Hey the original is still there - cms away, if a little dirt encrusted. I LOVE the original container. If you don't want it ... hey I'll give it a new lease on life!Thanks Mr Windy for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12350}*

As I livee really close, this was the first cache I tried to find with no luck. Thought I had no idea what I was doing. Glad to now be able to tick it off today with over 100 under the belt in the meantime.

Checked on cache at lunchtime today. Container is missing. Disabled until I get a replacement.

After having had lunch at a nice Vietnamese restaurant, we looked for this cache, just a couple of meters from where we had parked the car. Found two objects that looked strange, but none of them was the cache.

Monday evening find to keep our daily streak rolling. The sky was pretty and it was nice to have the geo-partner along tonight.

We were greeted with a GZ all to ourselves and a very lovely hide. Thanks for the history and the cache

All about the statistics indeed! I do love my statistics, geocaching and otherwise, which quite possibly stems from Geodad who worked here at 'The bureau' for many many years. So today we brought him back here to go caching and to reminisce a little.

Cache in excellent condition with plenty of room in the log. A nice park and grab on a weekend.

Thank you for placing this cache and for providing a concise history of the bureau which Geodad stated was 100 percent accurate! We thoroughly enjoyed this one today.

Another weekend in Canberra and again the weather gods are not cooperating. A very drizzly Saturday morning. Grabbed a few caches before Parkrun and then soon on to the walk in Mulligan's flat. Joined up with others and had a great time ignoring the little drizzle. For the day we called us capital Crunchers! This walk went nice and quick, so more time left for some caching. Good idea to move this one!

A bit of an ugly building but the cache was fascinating: there was a hive of bees just hanging off the side of a rock. Be careful if you have allergies but otherwise watch them for a while. TFTC
