1389. 3:57 pm. Another bridge geocache - I think it is the eighth of day. TFT(very small detour)C.
Found it during long Waitangi weekend in Hokinaga.
Enjoyed my trip following "Little Toot" adventures.
Beautiful horse was watching me when at GZ.

It is time to get on those gravelly back roads again. This is one way to see the New Zealand that very few people do. Thanks for bringing me this way. By the way, with all the present water restrictions, how am I going to get my cachemobile clean again.
The things that one sees on the side of the road. I have often seen cairns made of smaller stones but these take the cake.
Cheers for the cache.

Set off early this morning for a well earned caching trip with my buddy and navigator at my side to get as many of these new caches that I could find. The day dawned bright and sunny so we set off to the wop wops in the trusty geo mobile. Never been to Tutamoe before. A new road for me to take through the back roads of Northland. TFTC.
Out on a road trip today to collect the new caches in the area. Soon spotted a good hiding place and sure enough it was there. Then back into the car and off down the road. Opps, I'm heading down the wrong road. U turn required. A couple of Km of back tracking and I'm off in the right direction. TFTC
After a successful FTF mission last weekend on some other gravel road caches, I was very interested to see some more new ones pop up on Tues & Thurs and then more still on Friday. Saturday was going to be the first opportunity to try for some more FTFs and I just hoped that I wouldn't be too late.
It's always nice to have company on a caching mission and a call to Lis confirmed she was keen to join the mission, despite the decidedly less than favorable weather forecast. Made good time heading north and after meeting up in the big metropolis of Kaikohe, we hit the road just after 8:30, with some ominous black clouds ahead of us.
Luckily though, we were able skirt around the heaviest rain and it was showing good signs of easing by the time we got here. I think I last visited Tutamoe nearly 40 years ago on a trip up the Waoku. Not exactly a boom town here, with only two or three buildings on show. After a short search, we were able to make our fifth joint FTF of the day at 9:42. TFTC

Another joint {FTF} at 9.42am with Pete. Lovely camo job on the cache container. I certainly must have blinked here as I didn't notice a hall or school. Opened my eyes in time to spot the cache though. There certainly is a cold wind blowing but luckily no real rain - just the odd spit which is easily avoided. Thanks again for this gravel road series
