After a good weekend on the coast I passed thru Little River heading home.On my way I passed round here for a few smileys. This was just one of a few I picked up.Wow its changed so much here.TFTC
The cache cammo had disintegrated and the cache was actually missing both have been replaced. All Good to go now
This was first of a bunch while on the way up to the start tomorrow's bike ride. Once I'd made my way to GZ, it wasn't long before I spotted the cache holdeand that had me signing the log at 14:00.TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Fox_Girl.
A long planned trip away finally came to fruition as we headed off to Geelong after a gap of some years to catch up with caching friends. There is always a good variety of caches and hides to search for and Geelong itself is a pretty spot with lots of places to explore. Plenty of history and lovely scenery with the bay, riverside, open paddocks and bushland. We particularly enjoyed the many trails and riverside paths where Mrs SKI could give her new ebike a workoutA great time was had with lots of laughs and ribbing as we searched for the various caches and wondered what we might find next. We also had the chance to catch up with some great local cachers on a lovely evening out.Logs signed as SKI Pair, SP or RASP.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Fox_Girl.**SKI Pair****

What a fantastic day of geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula! The weather was perfect, and the landscapes were stunning. Our group ventured through a mix of urban areas, lush parks, and coastal paths in search of hidden caches. The camaraderie among our caching crew made the day even more enjoyable, with plenty of laughs and shared triumphs as we uncovered each cache. As the sun began to set, we gathered to celebrate our successes and swap stories from the day's adventures.Geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return for more caching adventures in the future! This is one of the caches found today. Yes there are some stunning ones. The cache was looking like it had seen better days, there were two containers with logs in them???Thanks Fox_Girl for the cache.

In the area and stopped off for this one. Cute little find at GZ and all was good with the cache. Thanks Fox Girl.
Beautiful sunshine equals a good day for geocaching. My mum chose to play geochaffeur and we headed out with this cache in our sights. Cute cache and I like the theme. Thanks Fox_Girl Cache in good condition but need of new logbook as this one is definitely full. Also, heads up for those looking for this one I found a whole lot of abandoned fencing and barbed wire right near where you need to go through to reach the cache. Be super careful as some of the barbed wire was hidden by the grass. Stay safe lovely geocachers! Thanks for the cache! Peace, Tara Found 4.20 pm Saturday 23 September 2023. Signed log as: TW Took nothing, left nothing. Geocaches found: 26 Photo: some of the barbed wire and fencing along path. Be careful lovelies.
Great idea! This butterfly cache is one of the most unique ones that we’ve ever found. The only problem is that we couldn’t get out the log to sign it as it was way too small. Could the owner please provide a separate container to sign the logbook.
First solo geocache absolutely gorgeous flour. Complete pain to get to very over grown
Really cute flower and great idea.
If you are coming to this one you will find a break in the barriers where you can safely pull over and behind .

Making my way from Geelong to the Lerderderg State Park I had some time between events to find all the caches along this stretch of road.
Started off here with an easy find. I agree - butterflies are beautiful.
Thanks, Fox_Girl.

New cache container and logbook in place. I will source a new camo and replace it soon, but the cache is up and working properly.
Out and about today and located this one the cache needs some attention because it’s appears broken, the log book is also missing.
Anyway, Have claimed the cache.
Quick find on the way home after a day out.
The cache needs some care as it’s broken, the log book is also missing

Raffy found the tiny butterfly!! Found on the 2nd of February, 2023. If you find the fake flower, look underneath.
GZ is not the easiest place to get to but I was rewarded with something a bit different which is always good to find. Thanks for the cache Fox Girl.
A day caching in Geelong had me head the back way to town picking up some caches as I went. Quick find here. Thanks for the cache
What a pretty cache and excellent idea. When we saw it was a micro, we were a bit worried, given all the growth nearby. Luckily we found the cache easily. We love butterflies. All good at gz. Tftc.
On our way to an event, we made a quick stop to look for butterflies. The area looks a little offbeat, with bones lying all over the place, but that didn’t stop us from discovering our goal.
Luckily we had a TOTT with us to extract the logbook.
Thank you Fox_Girl. Great first cache and beautifully themed.

Headed to Lara this morning to find a few caches before work.
Found the butterfly nestled in the attractive bloom, but the log sheet needed a tool to extract.
Signed and replaced to rest amongst the petals.
A nice first hide.

Great cache. Quick find. But couldn't get the log out to sign. Didn't find a butterfly to take a photo of but my geokid found bones.
What a beautiful cache, enjoyed this. Lots of roadworks that have been going for treats, lots of traffic so it was a nice cache to find
Accurate coordinates made this cache a quick find . All's good at gz , a favorite point for a different type of cache . Thanks Fox_Girl
Very cute little hide here! Nice and safe away from the busy busy road. Thanks for the effort put into the theme!
Out with the geosons for a bit of an adventure. Pretty impressed with the dead creature remains... much less impressed with the rubbish. Thanks heaps foxgirl!
A day out with SorceySal and Bree the Geodog heading from The Marsh to Angelsea caching along the way there and back.
This was on our return, and a clever little cache it was. My thanks to Fox_Girl for this little cutey

Out on a caching trip with bogonghazy and bree the geopuppy to cache from the Marsh to Anglesea and return.
On the way home and a short walk, quickly had the tiny cache in hand. Congrats on your first cache placement. I am sure there will be many more to come. Thanks Fox_Girl

The first cache we attempted on our long weekend trip to Flowerdale. It was a warmish morning, but the sun was behind the clouds, so there was no real bite in the temperature. The clouds were messing with the GPS on my phone (need to get te recent purchase (Etrex) working; apparently they are more accurate) so it took a while to track down the cache. Once I was within sight of GZ, we were certain we had it, and sure enough, we had found it. Unfortunately, we didn't have a pen with us, so we could not sign the log. Took a photo of the cache but won't post here as it will spoil the surprise for those who follow. Fox-Girl, I note this is your first cache and have checked it is your only cache. Please do some more because finding the cache was a real pleasure.
Saw someone’s comment of ‘bones’, not wrong there but once past that it’s very pretty
Happily out and about again after way to long with the necessary restrictions Glad to be able to cache again and this just happened to be along my route today. A delightful surprise to cheer anyone up. Loved it so a fav point coming your way TFTC Fox Girl
A nice quick find was made here. Great place for a CITO.

While out and about searching for the COTY nominated caches, I made my way to this one next.
I entered into the area and thought, a micro in here, that could be tricky but then a spotted the ray of colour and the cache was found.
Congratulations on your first hide and getting nominated.
**Thanks to Fox_Girl for placing this cache.**

Heading home to Wangaratta, via Bacchus Marsh and Kyneton from Geelong to avoid the crowded Hume Freeway on a Public Holiday. We collected a cache or two along the way. Butterflies are indeed beautiful and we were pleased to SL at 10.55am #6967 TFTC Fox_Girl
I began my day at home in Emerald. Drove to Ferntree Gully to pick up ilukaperi and then to Carlton to pick up Mielikkii before we all headed down to Geelong to do some of the caches nominated in this years cache of the year awards, as well as a couple of old multis that I had had my eye on.
This one was one that was well and truly on my list. Love seeing someones first hide, particularly one that is as creative as this. Great cache, well done, a FAV point from me to add to your collection. Hope to see many more of yours too.

Beautiful!
My day started just like any other... NOT!
For today is an exceptionally special day on the geocaching calendar.
Today is Leap Day 2020.

This cache has been in my sights since it was first published and today was the day that I would be in the area.
I woke up about 30 minutes before my alarm (which was set for 4 am) therefore I was on the road at four minutes to four.
Meeting up with Ausfox; nearby I found this delightful creation on my second pass through.
Easy to see how your cache made the list of nominees for the 2019 Cache Of The Year Awards. It gets my vote!
Congratulations Fox_Girl and good luck at the awards ceremony.
No doubt we will see you there.

Found with JelenaGreenleaf. Cute camo, love the hide! Area seemd dodgy somehow though, but at least out of sight! Tftc
Heading down to Geelong for the Leopold get together event after failing miserably in Ballarat attempting a few yak caches.
After walking along the river near the old paper mill to kill some time and also part of the Rail trail near by I made the event.
I caught up with one part of the Sims_family team at the event and I mentioned to him that I was going to do the new lab cache series in Lara.
He mentioned about this new cache and his new one as well.
So a plan was hatched to locate them both on the way home.
Parked the Geowagon close by and headed off to track some butterflies down.
My GPS was not in a happy mood tonight and I think I walked past the cache about 10 times before locating this great cache.
I was able to catch the butterfly and add my name to the log.
Congrats on placing your first cache and it was a great themed one at that.
Thanks Fox_Girl TFTC.
