Logs

I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, shaunieben, requesting additional time.

An ample opportunity has been provided for the Cache Owner to respond, but since this opportunity has been ignored, I can only conclude that the cache has been abandoned.

Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache, by somebody else.

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.

The cache owner needs to:
* Investigate the situation and either restore the cache, or address any other issues, such as correcting the D/T rating if necessary.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done, and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.

Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary, or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this, that is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.

Alternatively:

* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.

In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by shaunieben and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is there, and in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Hi we did not find it, and we think someone has taken it.

No luck for our search with ILT. The hint does not seem to fit area, but perhaps just cache blindness for us

01-Sep-21
Out and about with richlink on a blustery miserable day, but that doesn't keep a dedicated geocacher down.

For us today it is a DNF.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Working our way through your vista series this one was our next target. We arrived at gz and started our search. This one had us searching for awhile but Leega finally spotted the treasure we were searching for. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to where we found it. Now on to the next one. TFTC shaunieben.

Catching up on a late log.
Chwiliwr and I had been down to Wellard to work at our son's house and decided to go caching a bit further south after finishing there. Had a pleasant time doing some odd caches around the area before returning home.

Cache found without issues. Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thanks shaunieben for placing this cache for us to find.

I searched at the original location since my GPSr hadn’t been updated recently. Once I read on my phone that there was a new cache, I wandered over to log the find. Thanks.

Have fallen behind in my logging yet again, but hey, logging a find isn't mandatory so guess it doesn't make much difference if it it gets done or not, but the backlog of drafts is getting out of control so thought I would do something about it. Found this one several months back on one of my very rare caching forays. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and find shaunieben, and please forgive the generic nature of this log, but I did enjoy the hunt.

Had an inkling on where this might be on my approach to GZ and although my instincts were correct I headed in the wrong direction initially but got the find in the end.

Saw this one as I approached, but a muggle and her mugglettes were playing on some nearby equipment, Took the opportuntiy to enjoy some winter sun and eat my lunch.

Lunch finished, and a quick stretch had the cache was to hand.

Noticed these three caches get published in recent times but knowing they were well within Jackylegs44 territory I stayed clear and chased other FTFs.

Decided tonight was the night to clean them off the map.

Thanks shaunieben for a good nights fun.

Great to have new players on board and hope to catch you at an event soon.

Thanks again.

Found the cache first, but that doesn't seem to count for a ftf this time. Ran into someone else there both arrived at gz at the same time. I spotted it, pointing to where it was. So she grabbed it and said it was her ftf. Didn't even have a pen to sign it.used mine. What has become of geocaching these days.

Claiming ftf as well because I found first. Ftf dose meant First to Find. Not First to sign.
