Sadly no luck. Thought we got the hint right, searched for a while but then the rain set in so we’ll try another time.
On a Sunny Sunday we decided to take a drive to the north shore to do a little caching and grab a little lunch. On our way to Milford and we again parked in an interesting manner. Must have been too hot for the skate boarders as the park was deserted luckily for us. the cache was found in a slightly different position to that advertised and the log book was unfolded and exposed. so after signing we tidied up the find back to the right location and nicely camoed for the next finder. TFTC!
A sneaky hide! And tricky with muggles around. Hubby got this one, complete with earwig inside haha
Gee it was freezing this a.m. out caching pre-dawn in 2.7deg. Thankfully no one was around so it was a quick find. My hand was so cold only just got to sign AV. TFTC
Parke dup here for my mini-loop walk. Across the road and soon had cache in hand. Not sure why dried blown grass sticks to it though? All good and replaced as found, no time to get my skates on as I had to get my skates on.
Headed up this road which i don't normally travel and noted the (temporary) glut of available finds. Would be rude not to stop and stretch the legs whilst passing, so that's what I did. Managed four on a nice loop walk and another couple afterwards after moving the car a couple of times, thanks all COs for your caches.

Last cache on this new years day as Iv'e been told im on BBQ duties with some refeshments to be handed out. Worse things could happen, just hope its not at the R&E. No skating for me I left it up to the experts. Thanks G2 and now inching closer to 1,000
Heading up to Northland to meet the kids. Had a stop in Castor Bay for the night. Went out for an early morning walk with the dog and to collect some local caches. As I approached a work van was parked right next to the park so thought I might have to give it a miss. When closer I saw I was hidden from their view and the specific clue made it a quick grab. Sadly didn’t have a pen hence the photo. Nice recycled camouflage. A favourite from us.
Out this morning getting the Ancient Wonders of the World. Easy find here and under the 15th one. Just depends where you start counting from Thanks G-2
This cache should've been very easy but I found it on the ground 5 minutes later. I put it back under the railing but I'm not sure where the 15th rod was so just placed it under the very last one for the next finder l. TFTC (I didnt sign log because of covid but I took a photo of the log)
No way I'm getting on a skateboard and risk breaking a leg, in particular since I found a few weeks back the cache by the hospital. No intention to go there anytime soon TFTC
Great place for the skate boarders, whilst looks like fun and a great mission did not attempt the ramps, pleased as there was no boarders or muggles around ,Maybe because of the midday sun and heat
Great Cache and good hide
Thank you for Cache hide

Nice find with woolwood9 today.
*We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.*
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
TFTC
*Impressed with the classic bold hide, the colour makes it fit so well.*

What a shame I don’t own a skateboard. Admired the talents instead while I discreetly found the wee cache. Cheers and happy skateboarding everyone.
A nice looking skate park.No one around this afternoon so we didn’t need to try out any fancy moves before finding this cache.
On a Sunday search this was a nice find after a frustrating DNF nearby, thanks to a good hint we were not raising suspicion from the kiddies. Tftc!
Mr TW and I were out for some caching this morning and despite the desperate attempt by the skies to open we managed to enjoy a nice wander to GZ where we found the nicely crafted cache. TFTC
Two young boys performing a variety of tricks on their scooters and not at all interested in what anyone else was about. Made a speedy find, then spent longer trying to work out how the hint was applicable. No matter how my calculations were carried out the hint was null and void. Not to worry, put it back the same place . TFTC G-2
After one man walked past, I had the place to myself and made a quick find. TFTC.

Good co-ords meant we didn’t have to count! And lucky for us there was no one using the park
Out with Merlot58 on a sunny Spring day to collect a few caches on the North Shore. It must have been too early in the day for the sk8ers today as we had GZ to ourselves. Didn't need the hint for this one, as we spotted something on our approach.
Back in Auckland, and back at work this morning. Made a slight detour between work stops to visit the Sk8 Park. Arrived at GZ and could see a slight difference at one end. Checked it out and found the cache. Thanks.
There were two kids on scooters doing some things that you shouldn't be able to do on scooters, but it was an easy walkby and grab / replace.

Out to grab a few caches for the Mystery at the museum thing. Nice easy find once we parked, thanks
I'm out doing a couple of Saturday morning jobs before starting a busy weekend, so thought I'd pick up this cache to find out what this new "Mystery at the Museum" is all about. Quick find here, thanks!
This cache is my closest to home unfound cache that has the "detective" attribute for the "mystery at the Muesum" thingy. As such, I decided to head out this morning and see if I can get the ball rolling on this exercise in souviner collection. I figured the wet weather would keep the skateboard inclined muggles away. I wasn't sure how close I could park to GZ so parked up on a side street instead and covered the remaining distance on foot. As predicted I was alone at GZ. Great coordinates meant I found the hide immediately. Cheers for the cache placement!
After a recent streak coming to an abrupt end. Its time to remember the secondary goal for this year.... getting to 5000 cache finds. #4780 Anyway motivation is back on. This was a lunchtime visit today. An empty spot, making it easy to make the find and get away again on a gorgeous sunny day. Gosh these hides of yours are so versatile in the sneaky wee spots. SL. TFTC.
Oh no !, seems I forgot to bring my skateboard, what a shame, but then there is no one around today to impress so that would have been a bit of a wasted effort...
But much more importantly, this knocks off my last dot day, well except for February 29th which will have to wait until the next intercalary day in 2020.
Nice cheeky hide here, TFTC

Well... me and FMZ were really and literally in the right places at the right time tonight! A virtual cache popped out at the skytower so I rushed over to get the funky one and we got the ftf there, then as soon as we got back into my car, another new virtual popped out this time it was sp8sm8's down the water front. Just as we were finishing up there, this cache popped out, say whaaat! Ok, so over the shore we drove and we parked up. A quick find was had by FMZ and we logged in as a joint {FTF}.

After two virtual FTFs in the city with Gorby, nicely timed as they were, this cache popped up and we were straight onto the motorway and over here. A nice easy find but a good hide here. Joint [FTF] here with Gorby. TFTC!!!
