A quick detour on our way back to young found us in this neck of the woods. We went up the hill and had a quick look at the old church before quickly finding the cache.TFTC.
Quick find after a drive out to this town i would have never visited normally. Thanks for the cache, all looks to be in good condition at the time of finding.
#3858 Scanning the surrounding area we couldn’t resist a look for this one with a recent DNF.
Parked nearby and wandered over for an almost immediate find. Accurate coords certainly helped.
Cheers Critter2.

Two TASSIES spending another wintery day in and around Young. Thought one last expedition to Murrumburrah/Harden would be in order this showery/ blustery/afternoon. A pity this modest little 1930's memorial bridge has suffered a collision calamity. It would be nice to think it would be repaired to be good as new. Thanks Critter2 for the cache in this locality.
After pushing my niece up a tree for a cache in Young she asked today if we could go find another, This was the closest not found so here we are.

What an adventure. Found it, and had a great time.
The robot clicked disapprovingly, gurgled briefly inside its cubical interior and extruded a pony glass of brownish liquid. "Sir, you will undoubtedly end up in a drunkard's grave, dead of hepatic cirrhosis," it informed me virtuously as it returned my ID card. I glared as I pushed the glass across the table.
He heard the loud impact before he ever saw the result. It had been so loud that it had actually made him jump back in his seat. As soon as he recovered from the surprise, he saw the crack in the windshield. It seemed to be an analogy of the current condition of his life.
She asked the question even though she didn't really want to hear the answer. It was a no-win situation since she already knew. If he told the truth, she'd get confirmation of her worst fears. If he lied, she'd know that he wasn't who she thought he was which would be almost as bad. Yet she asked the question anyway and waited for his answer.
Spending time at national parks can be an exciting adventure, but this wasn't the type of excitement she was hoping to experience. As she contemplated the situation she found herself in, she knew she'd gotten herself in a little more than she bargained for. It wasn't often that she found herself in a tree staring down at a pack of wolves that were looking to make her their next meal.
Found and signed dsd or Darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook thanks for the cache and the adventure. Included with my found it log are some random photos that have nothing to do with this cache so don't bother looking at them all searching for a spoiler photo.
Found driven past all my life to school and work never knew haha. Watch out for brown snakes in summer time
After spending the night in Harden and recovering from the heat of the days caching yesterday, I was ready to get into todays list, in the end, the heat was just too much and I pulled the pin way early in the afternoon. Easy find here thanks.
I've been to Currawang before, but my first visit to Currawong! GPS was pointing into the long grass, so spent a little time looking there before checking elsewhere and finding the cache. Nice looking church nearby as well.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Day 1 of a 7 day trip from Canberra to Bourke, to Narrabri, to Armidale and back to Canberra. The main goal (apart from having a break from working from home) is to collect counties, and see some of NSW I haven't been to before. Cache easily found. Wonderful to see the green countryside. TFTC.

9619 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1130 on a drive to Cowra for the weekend. Plenty of room to pull up and park while you go for a wander along the bridge. SL Tnx Critter2
Found with my Mum! She loved wandering through the Church grounds and graveyard.
I decided to spend the day on a day trip West of Yass to Young, Cootamundra and Gundagai. It was a nice day that was not as hot as some recently. I was happy to find all the caches I went looking for,and only skipped one long hill climb. It was a great day.
Thanks.

Grabbed this one on the way back from Young to Canberra. A quick and easy find, thanks Critter2.
Quick find, which is good as it is cool out there. Made easier when a "natural" object looks sooooo familiar.
Found during an epic long weekend of quality caching around the Riverina with fitzy_1965. Lots of km's covered including some fun wheeling in the beautiful countryside meant for a thoroughly enjoyable trip
Saw this one pop up on the map on the way back home to the Can. Nice quick park and grab and a stretch of the legs Final one for the trip for us!
Thanks for the hide, Critter2

I was on my way home from the 'Better Blokes Conference' (which was amazing! ) held over the June long weekend and was needing a rest somewhere. This lead me to stop off at Harden. After having 10-15 mins of walking around and getting fresh area. I decided on checking my emails. While I was doing this, I found out that I was near a new published cache about 10kms from where I was. I decided to go for it and hope the FTF was still up for grabs. This took me along a back road I had never driven long before. Very quickly after arriving at GZ I made the find, BUT was it a FTF? After opening up the whole log-sheet it became clear that I was the FTF. It was signed and replaced ready for the next finder. TB visit and now time to head home. TFTC, Critter2.
P.S. This cache will need a zip-lock bag as the log sheet was already damp.
