What a surprise to see this as I was driving through so had to stop as guessed there might be a cache here. Tftc
Today we stopped for lunch in Foxton on our way from Wellington to Whakapapa.Very nice Spot! TFTC
Still very early in the day at the time of my visit, so quite cool. I've visited the windmill many times, both alone and with overseas visitors. What a great attraction this is for Foxton, which has enabled a cafe and a visitor centre nearby, as well as put Foxton on the tourist and heritage map! I bet it gets a good percentage of Dutch visitors. I liked the Dutch souvenirs in the window, hence where I took the pic.Enjoyable Virtual but I will have to visit another time when it's open for some of the stone ground flour. Armed with jandals and a chilly bin, a couple of Aussies headed across the ditch for a 3-week tiki tour, exploring the beauty of New Zealand.DAY 5: Whanganui to Wellington. We spent quite some time at, in and up the windmill. Impressed that its still in use. Answers now submitted. Thanks for showing us this special place by placing this cache, RogerW1nz tn koe~~
Needed a cache today to keep up my streak but it's a work and travelling day up to the Waikato. So better than to fluff around in places I don't know and worry about DNFs, I found a virtual on the route (and better yet I didn't know this existed) quick stop here to finish eating the dinner I got from Levin before carrying on north. Cheers!
This was a nice stop to stretch the legs & eat some treats, enroute home from Wellington.Just a little disappointing to find that this is a modern replica tourist attraction but with no real local relevance, and the goodies are all imported, Was hoping to view the flax mill museum, but were too early. TFTVC!
Haven't been here for years, and certainly wasn't geocaching then. Shame I am to early and everything is closed
After a few days in Wellington we were on our way back to Auckland and stopped at Foxton for breakfast. While eating, we perused the nearby caches and couldnt pass this one up. So we headed over when wed finished. It was reasonably quiet at the windmill today aside from a few gardeners and the odd muggle. We soon had the information needed and made sure we took the photo. What a lovely windmill, we saw an interesting tv snippet about the miller a while back. Thanks for a great virtual.

Sending a few days of the school holidays in Foxton so a great chance to get a few caches. Our first mystery cache.TFTC
On our road trip North, we stopped here for Dutch pancakes for lunch. The area has been improved even further from our last visit. Answers sent to CO. TFTC
Had to stop on our drive Northward to discover this cache! Had. To. Its extremely windy today and we popped to the adjacent cafe for some eats. Thanks for maintaining the cache! Favorite point!
This was a really cute location! I enjoyed walking around the windmill and checking out a shop or two to break up my travel. Answers have been sent to the CO. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!The day:I had a long way to go as I continued my solo travel from Atlanta, U.S.A. around the north island. I knew that my next stop would involved a 2 night stay which I was really looking forward to - getting up and driving to a new spot every day is exhausting! It was a little cloudy and windy in the morning but eventually the sun came out to greet me. I had a lot of caches to find, so good weather was going to be helpful if I wanted to make it to Wellington by the time I had planned. It was a great day of caching in New Zealand. I knew my trip here was soon coming to an end, so I wanted to enjoy every minute. Many thanks to the COs who placed and maintain these caches for folks like me to find.
New Zealand CruisingGrimRaider and I are cruising NZ to celebrate his 60th birthday. We took a drive to Palmerston North and stopped here to check out the windmill. We had such a lovely time in the Netherlands last year exploring lots of windmills. Thanks for the hide RogerW1nz

Hello from Seattle! After an amazing trip along the southern coast of Australia heading from Sydney to Adelaide to attend a Mega-Event with my fellow Lackey and best Geobuddy Giacaches, we headed over to New Zealand for a week of caching and adventure - as I often say, we've never been closer, so it made perfect sense to plan for a stop. We have a loop around the North Island on the schedule, and I'm so excited to see all the things there is to see!We were keen to find a bunch of Virtual Caches on this trip for a challenge we're working on back home, and this one was right next to a little coffee shop - score! We grabbed and sent in our answers and then headed over to pick up a cappuccino. Answers have been sent for both of us. Thanks so much for the cache and for adding to our awesome adventure!
Greetings from Seattle! I traveled down under with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide on Leap Day. Of course, a trip from Seattle to Australia just wouldn't be complete without a detour through New Zealand Per usual, We're squeezing in as many extra activities as we can, including, but not limited to: Logging our geocache finds in the southern hemisphere Finding Australia's oldest, [GC3E](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3E) at Lane Cove, and the first-ever Earthcache, [GCHFT2](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCHFT2) Enjoying the spectacle of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney Cruising along the scenic Great Ocean Road Completing a challenge that requires finding 31 Earthcaches and 31 Virtuals in 31 days ([GC32TBZ](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC32TBZ) and [GC32TC2](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC32TC2)) Finding the oldest cache placed outside of the US, [GC46](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC46) Exploring the iconic Lord of the Rings filming locations across New Zealand This was the second find of the day and admittedly, a strategic stop for the coffee nearby! Answers have been (or will be) sent in by my personal Earthcache & Virtual coordinator, Jessie. Thanks for placing this one and thus contributing to our epic adventure
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. RogerW1nz, thank you for this virtual cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.

It wasn't raining so much that I couldn't find some caches along the way. I deliberately extended my trip to go around a series of challenges with a nice rating. So I wasn't in a hurry and stopped at various caches or nice places. Thanks to everyone for their caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
As a once in a lifetime holiday, this year we are traveling for 7 weeks to Vietnam, Bali, Australia and New Zealand. In Australia we meet Ellen Sch and MrVon sr and Ingsve to visit these last two countries, so here we cache together. Now we have solved many caches so we have a large number of solved coordinates. But we are interested in all types of caches, so if you receive a log, it means that we have visited your cache. We haven't quite decided where we're going, but we'll probably let the weather decide for us. We want warmth because in Norway it is now freezing. We will stay for about 2 weeks in Australia and 2 weeks in New Zealand and we will end the trip with the Mega event in Adeleide on 29 February. So thank you very much to all of you who make it possible for us to travel around finding caches. On March 6, we set course for Norway again. There are extremely nice people everywhere and we are welcomed, we thank you very much. Thanks to our cache friends for good company on the trip.
Cachehilsen fra Ellen Sch, NorgeMe and MrV sr have come down to Australia and New Zealand, -an old dream has finally come to an end. Team Eika and Ingsve have also traveled with us on this trip.We have been traveling cross-country for a month, and the goal is to end up in Adeleide and mega-event on the leap year. We have especially looked for old caches, to fill jasmer'n, for a couple of pieces, and for the other two of us who have started to think about reviewing more. The vast majority of them showed up at their places, sometimes we had to search a bit, but we were usually lucky in the end. There were also some DNFs.We have mostly logged in with the common nickname N4 (ingsve, Von sr. TeamEika and Ellen Sch), but our own nicknames are also used.A big thank you to all you CO's for laying out and maintaining your caches. Without their work, we would never have been able to make a living with this hobby.Always nice to have a new smiley face on the map.Cache greetings from Ellen Sch, Norway
Out on a geocache trip with Ellen Sch , Team Eika and ingsve on holiday in New Zealand, and today it was this area that was prioritized If nothing else is mentioned, we found the cache at good coordinates and it was fine To save space in the log, we often log in with the nickname N4 Many thanks to CO for laying out and maintaining this Greetings from Norway TFTCUte p en geocache-tur med Ellen Sch,Team Eika og ingsve p ferien i New Zealand og idag var det dette omrdet som ble prioritert Hvis ikke annet er nevnt s fant vi cachen p gode koordinater og den hadde det braFor spare plass i loggen logger vi ofte med nick N4Tusen takk til Til CO for utlegg og vedlikehold av denne Hilsen fra Norge TFTC

On our trip through New Zealand we drove from Wellington to Whanganui with a stop in Foxton. If you see a Dutch Mill, you go there for something to eat and drink. Almost immediately picked up a geocache. CO thank you for making this cache available. A friendly geocache greeting from the Netherlands

Today we left Wellington and continued our journey with next stop in Stratford.Pretty nice windmill and though we are ~18.000 km from home it felt like being in the neighbourhood - we are living in Germany close to the Dutch border. # #7,143 #----------I was originally meant to fly but I opted to change to a rental car instead because a few cachers told me about how scenic the drive is and theres so much worth seeing. And they were right. I saw this windmill and was so baffled I had to check it out. Turns out this virtual was here. Spoke to the woman inside and she was telling me all about the windmill. How fascinating. I have to give this a favourite point. Answers sent to the CO. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ

The plan was to get as many as possible. Along the way we had some great adventures, many laughs, met some interesting people and found a wide selection of caches. This was day 4 of our trip and we headed South from our accommodation caching down SH 1 to Levin and back through the towns to Himatangi.Answers have been sent through to the CO and logging in anticipation of them being correct. Photo of the whole group has been attached to Keylev's log.

26-days-holiday to Singapore, New Zealand & AustraliaDay 7: Rotorua Taupo - WellingtonThis day took us from Rotorua via Huka Falls to Taupo where we had a short break. From there, we headed on up to Wellington with a short guided tour & some spare time in New Zealands capital in the evening.Foxton was another stop on the way south to stretch the legs. Nice to see a Dutch windmill here (though rather unusual for this part of the world). The required information could be found quickly. Unfortunately, the nearby Traditional was a DNF then. Thanks for this (new) Virtual.

Driving from Upper Hutt to Whanganui on our road trip of the NI. We were supposed to go to Seattle in 2020 but now our flight credit only gets one of us there so instead we have a trip to Nz. Which is great as we get to catch up with some of our favourite people.
It also means I get to find caches including my favourite the virtual.
Nice stop here we were amazed to see this fairly new windmill. Interesting . TFTC

On a road trip with Lis'screw from one end of the North Island to the other (and back) to collect a bunch of solved puzzles and other interesting caches along the way. This one was definitely on the must do list and the weather was just perfect to help us on our drive home. A nice replica of Dutch culture in good ole NZ. TFTC.
