This one almost sent me, luckily my brother wqs here today to make the find just as I was considering coming back another day TFTC
Out and about with Flowerydaze and what a lovely day it was too. We attended the event earlier in the day held near Parliament by our Dutch visitors. Tricky find this one, great camo job, had me fooled for a while after picking it up a couple of times. All good here so its on to the next one. TFTC G-2
What a great camo. We were fooled for a while, then Talla64 said the magic words "here it is". Thanks very much G_2, an interesting sculpture indeed. I suspect we've driven past this sculpture several times and not noticed it. Thank you for placing your cache here.
Out for the day into Wellington with Bkj97 and Little Blue Hen, that was a very crafty hide and both Mr CD and Bkj97 had handled it before they realised that it was the cache. TFTC and a FP
What a cool location to learn about some history of Wellington. Very clever cache - see previous posts for some helpful clues
This was the third and final cache I found today during my brief walk around the south coast of the Miramar Peninsula. With two successful finds today already under my belt, I was determined to make this a third. After walking from the nearby 'Piggy Discovers Wellington', I found myself on the beach, not on the track near the cache. The most suitable route to the pathway leading to GZ would have involved me backtracking a slight distance. I was too lazy to do this, so instead I took a shortcut on a poorly formed trail through some nearby bushes. When I emerged from the bushes, I found myself really close to GZ. I began searching for the cache, but was unable to locate it after a few minutes of searching, so I therefore checked the hint. The clue provided me with a really good indication of where the cache would be, so I thoroughly checked this spot, but was still unable to locate it. I continued searching other nearby areas, but to no avail. By this stage, I had pretty much given up on trying to find the cache, so I clambered up the rocks to sit at the top and check out the view. It was while I was atop the rocks that I pulled out my phone, deciding to check some previous logs in hope they would provide me with some further clues. I noticed something interesting in a few recent 'Found It' logs, so I quickly scooted back down to the ground to try searching again. It was at this stage, that something slightly odd stood out to me. I investigated this object further and, sure enough, it was the cache. As it turns out, I accidently disregarded it during my initial search and left it on the ground. Silly me.
I opened the cache and signed the log (with the lack of space, I shortened my signature to 'PagC'). All was in good condition here and I firmly replaced it back where I found it after signing. This cache certainly has some great camo, it worked so well I completely ignored it during my initial search!

Doo Doo did it again and so did dumb dumb.
Hayzz and i had a very good laugh at me as we walked away, because i had the cache in my hand not once but twice and did not clock that i was holding a cache.
Fantastic camouflage here by G-2

Out with Geeves90 for a bit of new years day fun.
We had a laugh with this one... could not find it anywhere and Geeves started looking at alternate options. I took another look turns out it was so well hidden we just didn't see it. Great cache.

Sadly DNF. Great hint. Well placed stones at GZ to conceal what we could not find.
Hands explored both LHS &RHS .

After a nudge from CO, returned and widened the search area.
Found this fab container . Logged and popped it back into the hint location.
Thanks for the fun and double visit.

Fab container! Came back for another crack when we saw it had been enabled. Yay! Our pen didn't work very well though... looks like we're now PJ No! Lol Thanks!
Had to do a quick run by once I saw this one was enabled again. Quick find and lovely container. TFTC! ️
We are staying in Strathmore Park for a week, mostly concentrating on finding solved puzzles. We came out to Moa Point this morning and decided to make a couple of trad finds while in the area. Wandered along the path to GZ where we found a very familiar style of cache. Thanks.
Yeah! A breeze, but sunshine makes this walk just lovely. Nice to see a cache I hadn’t found. Thanks, G! Found with Seattle’s Best.
School holiday mission to Miramar peninsula.
Great sculpture to have a play on.
Thanks!

Thanks!
Its been far to long since I last caught up with the CO, and was surprised to find a couple of his caches this far south, so was on the phone with the CO at the very time I was signing the log here, chatting about how it was such a nice day in Wellington, and all things caching etc, TFTC
Cute wee cache and a nice easy find with . First time visiting the sculpture too. KTG
Cycling home from my sister's place... the long way. Stopped off here for today's cache. Actually I need a few - as well as a streak I am working on getting my cache finds up to 10 per day. Which is why I chose this bit of coast , as there are a number of caches for me to find along here.
Haven't I already got this cache? I'm sure I've been here before! Ah, yes, Rockford, found in 2012, archived in 2018. IO think the cache was hidden in the same place then, too.
Actually, on second thought, I am not going to cycle all the way back home to Lower Hutt. I got the worst sunburn I've had in about 30 years, so I'll take the train back.

Finding some caches in this area before attending 'Spring into Geocaching' event. Thanks G_2 for the cache.
Had a couples of hours free between flights. Choose was sitting in the terminal or heading out for a stretch along the coast walk. Wasn’t difficult decided particularly as there were 5 caches in range. Managed to find all of them. Great array of flower along the way plus rock formations. Cache all fine. Loved the structure which would probably miss driving past. A favourite from us. Thanks for the smiley.
Buddy off mine didn't even realise the Doo Doo's were here so a great clear night walk exploration for us
We’ve always driven past this place but have never stopped to have a look. Loved this find
I Traveled down to wgtn for an elongated weekend visiting friends and staying with son and family. My friends enjoy the drive around the Mirimar peninsula. and when they said they would like to go for a drive around the area i was more than happy . It was lovely sitting in the sun at Scorching bay for morning tea and then we drove on around and past these two nearer caches . both caches were quickly found and all was well with both of them I took some photos of the lovely looking wellington harbour on such a day : ) We evn saw a Moa on the hill above !!
Another quick find on my traffic avoiding detour after work. Funny spot. TFTC!!!
Due to the missing kayaker, a Rāhui has been placed on the coast from Breaker Bay to Moa Point. Please stay away from this cache until 29 Jan. G-2, can you disable it perhaps?
