I found it, quite quickly Thanks for your cache.Heading to Port Augusta from the Flinders Ranges to across the paddock to Perth
Beautiful day in the Flinders Ranges for a spot of caching. Easy find. With BluebeardOZ and friends.
Beautiful old building close by. Great to do a cache in the Flinders. Introducing a friend to caching and dropped off a trackable from Texas. Withannyisom
After spending 2 days at Copley and 4 days in Arkaroola we were now at Quorn for a couple of days.Today we decided we would drive across to Port Augusta to visit the Arid Lands Botanical Gardens. This afternoon we stopped at this cache on our return trip to Quorn. TFTC Hurtle

Found by The Empire + HLeaving the picturesque city of Port Augusta, we embarked on a road trip that promised both adventure and a touch of treasure hunting. Our destination was Murray Bridge, a journey that would take us through various local government areas (LGAs) in South Australia. Along the way, we were on a mission to find some easy geocaches in LGAs we hadn't explored yet.The drive was a mix of anticipation and exploration. As we cruised down the highway, the landscape transitioned from coastal plains to rolling hills, with the Flinders Ranges in the rearview mirror. The diverse beauty of South Australia never ceased to amaze us.As you start your journey on the Pichi Richi Trail, you'll quickly discover the rich history that lines the path. The trail follows the historic Ghan railway route, which once connected Adelaide to Alice Springs. Along the way, you'll encounter remnants of a bygone era, including old railway stations, bridges, and infrastructure. These historic markers serve as a reminder of the pioneering spirit and the efforts that went into connecting remote regions of Australia. We'll have to come back and explore some more when we have more time! Thanks for the cache Hurtle.- M@empiregeocaching
An interesting piece of history here, cache easily found and is all good.
With a few days off work I decided to head north for a night to the Flinders Ranges, and attempt to find SAs longest unfound traditional cache and Mount Abrupt plus what ever I had time for in the area. A beautiful part of the world up here.
Thanks for the cache

Found on our SA adventure. Off to see the silo lights in Quorn. Thanks for the fun.
Adelaide to Port Lincoln Road Trip!
Day Two: Quorn to Whyalla.
Weather: sensational.
Another “Lost Heritage” to add to my collection; not sure how I missed this the last time I passed through when I was travelling in the other direction thus making it easier. Is this still the original cache? It’s in good shape and everything inside is dry.
Thanks for adding another stop along the Pichi Richi Pass Hurtle.
It’s officially a Mega!

On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, such a shame these old homes have gone to ruin, thanks for placing this cache
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. Geocaching has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
This was another in this series while passing by. Sad to see these abandoned old buildings, after all the work that would have been required to build them. If only the walls could speak.
Thanks Hurtle for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Love all the old derelict houses in SA and this one didn't disappoint. Cache all good. Thank you.
It would be good to see the old house restored. Cache and log are good. TFTC Hurtle.
Found this one on a journey home after an overnight camp in Quorn. Love spotting these old buildings, especially the ones where the stone work has stood the test of time. TFTC
Headed out early with iluvtrekking for a day caching around Quorn. Although chilly in the morning it’s promising to be a lovely day. Stunning backdrop. Thanks Hurtle
Found with richlink as part of our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
Today we toured from PA to Quorn and Hawker and back to PA.
Thanks for adding to our adventure.

Today is day 1 of our great south australia get away. Trapped in Australia and desperate for a holiday we decided on 2 weeks on a staycation in SA. A week in Flinders and a week on KI.
Today I drove from Adelaide to Quorn to meet the husband arriving from Naracoorte with the Moho. Sadly I didn’t leave as early as I had hoped but still managed 17 for the day, rectifying 1 prior dnf and finding a 2001 golden oldie.
Great caching day.
Quick find of a nice sized cache here TFTC hurtle

After traipsing around Western Queensland for 4 1/2 weeks then having to head to Northern Territory then SA to try and get back home that way due to border closures.
After escaping from NT to SA I was spending a few days in SA before heading back to lockdown in Victoria.
Staying at Quorn for a couple of nights and after ditching the van in the caravan park it was time to try and find all of the caches around here and also the ones on the way back to Stirling North.
A lot easier to pull over with out a van.
Driving around a lot of the less populated roads of SA you come across a lot of these.
Some of them are extremely way built and you always wonder what happened to them.
Thanks Hurtle TFTC.

Love these old houses. Took some photos. Sharpened the pencils Nice to stop while so many are barrelling along the road. What’s the hurry!? TFTC.
A quick find on our way back to Quorn, where we were tracking down Mr J's lost ancestry at various cemeteries around the Mid North.
Fun fact about Pichi Richi Pass: As a lad I toured though here with my parents. Some one had defaced a sign by removing the first letter of each word, so the sign read ichi ichi ass.
Thanks Hurtle.

Away for a caching trip to the Arkaroola area.
A bit of 4 whell driving, lot's of dust and for me 3 punctures. These cut my trip short by a couple of days.
No one was home when I knocked.

What a contrast to have a silent ruin out in the paddock and the noisy traffic nearby on the highway. Thanks for the cache. It's in excellent condition. SL TN L a ring. Would that more caches were like this!
On a road trip with CBC2 from Adelaide to Coober pedy via Oodnadatta track returning to Adelaide via the black top. Found many caches along the way some oh so easy and some more challenging. Thanks to all the CO s for their hides. Some took us to some wonderful places. SL TFTC
A caching week-end with CPwanderer, targeting Port Augusta & Quorn.
It didn't take long to find the cache, but lingered longer to take in the view.
Thanks for bringing us here hurtle, a favourit

WE saw this building as we drove towards Quorn early this afternoon but having no access to data, we were uncertain whether this site had come under Hurtle's attention. When we got to Quorn we checked and found that a Lost Heritage cache was in place. So on our way back we stopped. Accurate coordinates and a logical hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hurtle for this cache and the ever growing series.
The weather was great as it was when I was last up here with four-fun. We knew this one had come out but it meant a 8km or so back track from Woolshed after we had done a couple of large walks to get the caches either side. As time was short, we headed for home. Not this time. A good one to get esp as it is Hurtles!
Thanks to Hurtle and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Lost? Maybe technically it’s found. A weekend away enjoying the perfect weather in the mid-north. TFTC
Found with FeatherWaite during the June Long Weekend Event in Quorn.

Found as beta-testers with e.gregory1 during the June Long Weekend in Quorn. Thanks for the cache Hurtle!
It became tournament day of the Quorn Quondam Quest (QQQ) weekend event, and so I got to experience my first June Long Weekend event paired up with [@Laighside Legends](http://coord.info/PR3BCW0)! So it was a day of 6.5 hr dedicated to giving the QQQ as best shot as possible with a combination of efficient driving, strategic planning, and good luck at cache finding. Consequent to the event, we collected our event game caches and found a few real caches around the area. It was then on to the awards event to get our official ranked position.
This cache was found as part of the JLWE event, and we were on our way back along the Port Augusta road back to Quorn. A quick find here, and we continued to move on quickly.
I'm not sure if I should log this as a found since FTF hasn't officially gone out (or has it), but it appears everyone else has logged the find, so I have followed the masses. I didn't actually realise we could note permanents until the Sunday, otherwise I would have planned 1-2 caches also, thanks Hurtle.

Found as part of the June Long Weekend event on game day, where our team (myself, AlphaDeltaIndigo, DennisC52 and Alex-thesquirrel) signed the log, in a mad dash back to the GZ, possibly with a rabbit in tow. TFTC Hurtle!
Found and signed with JEM, Sebastbat and Jack,
on the QQQ JLWE game day.
Always nice to see a heritage spot.
