Yep it with ease, after the muggles walked past. Very busy walk area, but a great walk.

After having a lot of luck avoiding muggles our luck ran out as we approached this cache.
A couple of muggles arrived just as we did along with their dog and stopped to rest near the water, throwing a ball in for the four legged muggle to fetch.
It didn't look like they planned to move on anytime soon so stealth mode was initiated and we were pleased to make a quick find. Phew.
We subtly signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding spot without them paying us any attention. Mission successful.
Thanks McJandals for another nice hide.

Thanks Mc Jandals for the cache. It’s #1600 for us. We found your cache on 28 February 2022. Quick find while walking our dog. No pen so pic of log attached
Nice we cache, we not long ago found this path and just knew there would be some caches. Tftc
Yay thanks! Dad's found all of them tho time for the rest of us to get a find!
Hadn't found this in this past. Log says it was replaced, glad we found it this time
Out on an afternoon dog walk. First cache logged in months. Had looked for this previously but couldn't find it. Came across it with relative ease this time round. Thanks to invis13 for the nudge to get me to pull the phone out and get a cache while I was here.
Thanks for recent maintenance.
All good here.
Picked up on my weekend journey.

Definitely gone. Have replaced cache and permission given to the DNF to log, thanks for letting me know.
Nice and quick. Upon my finding it I did wonder if I had found it before. I didnt log it then, but have now. Nice and quiet on Xmas eve
Find number 7058. A frustrating walk along this reserve. I think everyman and his dog were out and about. So some I had to bypass some. Thankfully all quiet here so I was able to grab and sign with out interruption. Thank you for the placement.
Well as a newly retired gentleman how could I let a Monday dot day go by.
A pleasant stroll even on a overcast and blustery day

Sunny Sunday - great day for a small geocaching trail. Got to the end of the road ready to start and couldn't believe the amount of cars there were - and more arriving by the minute!! They all had dogs! It was dog heaven down there. Sat and watched for 2 minutes then decided it wasn't going to be a good time to go geocaching... Plan B; check out a new place and come back here later. So that's what we did. Back in the afternoon and there was no sign of all the dogs, we had the place all to ourselves. Easy find here thanks to the good clue. Cache all good. Added some SWAG as it is a good size cache. TFTC
3 souvenirs today. Well it will be once this one is logged. Yours had what I needed today. Just as I get to gz a group is coming up behind me. Quick look didn't see it. I make out I'm watching rowers hoping this group will carry on past. Nope they were stopping there for a product photo shoot. Oh brother. Lol. But with a bit of patience I was able to get cache and put back without being notice. Tftc
Progress happening down this end with a number of bridges being built. Plenty to look at down here, so glad to have found this area!
Beautiful walk on a beautiful day with a few caches along the way. All nice and easy for the kids to find. Thanks for the hide
After two quick finds this one stumped us. Kids impatient so we’ll return another day.
Found this yesterday but forgot our pen! So came back today for another dog walk. The cache was once again in hand. Thanks!
The walk both ways from the carpark is getting hard work for an old bugger so two yesterday & hopefully two today.Nice easy guys, thankyou.
The kids and I were on our way to Tauranga for and afternoon of caching we were looking to clear Papamoa and the Mount area . On our way across notification came through for a new traditional cache at Te Puna quarry so we got that and then cam here as there were 6 caches clos together. Lots of muggles walking dogs today so took us a while to find each cache as we waited for muggles to pass by.

Today we are travelling from Auckland to Opotiki, finding a few specific caches along the way. We parked the camper here while we had lunch and found a few caches. A nice quick find in the first place we tried, thanks.
Our second find for the day as we strolled this walkway and it turned out to be an exciting one for us as we were surprised to find our first TB hiding in the cache - now we just need to do some research about what we do with one and help the TB continue its travels.
With ABCDF4, and eyespyben... Today was supposed to be an assault on Tauranga caches and an early start. But family and bad weather put the kibosh on that plan. Instead, we began at a more leisurely pace.
We parted ways with Gap at the Pukehinahina Virtual. He advised that this Wairoa River Trail would take us roughly three-quarters of an hour to complete - we had about 25 minutes of daylight left...
A peaceful setting as light was beginning to fade. A quick find... Thanks McJandals and TFTC.

Over in Tauranga for the day while Mrs Dragon had a cake decorating class so used the opportunity to collect a few caches about the area before she finished.
Lucky enough to get through the day without getting wet which is a bonus, and not too many others seen out and about on what was a chilly day.
Thanks to all the CO's for the palcements.

This is an enjoyable reserve a d riverwalk -perfect for a Sunday arvo stroll - thanks for the cache
Charlie’s favourite swimming place provided a good distraction while we nabbed this one!
Not a lot on today so I scooped up my two youngest and and came out here. A really nice area with some really nice houses. I was a little surprised at how many people were utilising this area already so we certainly kept that in mind as we searched. The cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a good hint and a straight forward placement. Cheers Mc Jandals, TFTC

A real winters day and good to get outside for a walk and I even got Richard to come with me. Neat to see this walkway developing - certainly a lot of people walking there dogs out here and you do need to keep a watch where you tread Got to this GZ and found the GPS jumped around a bit. Richard said “ I ‘m not going out there “ and luckily he didn’t have too. Very sneaky hide and a favourite type NOT . Thanks for a devious cache TFTC
It's so beautiful down here only 2 other people about a mum and baby. Cache easily found tftc
Getting towards evening. Getting cold. Quick find to the gentle sound of kayakers. TFTC.
Found 12.25pm
Soon had this cache in hand just hope this one is high enough not to get washed away with heavy rain. SLTFTC

{FTF} Joint. We were exploring this area the other day and had a cursory look around. Little did we know how soon we would be back! I'm not complaining though as it's such a nice area. Thanks for the cache Mc Jandals.
{ FTF joint}The frost was all but gone as I headed along the river bank ...but the gnarly biteing breeze was not adding to the beautiful atmosphere and vista of the sun on the river...soon at GZ ...a quick look and the log was soon signed ...cache replaced as found ....thanks McJandals another quality cache enjoyable to do the added bonus of a {FTF} was a great plus
After I finished at Trunk, I passed the dog walkers again and headed back towards the car.
I timed it well, once again, as while I stopped at the bridge, they had turned and were heading back towards me again, but aa quick easy find and I had it signed and returned before they could see anything.
Thanks for filling in some gaps Jan. Its a great location. Added some pics.

I enjoyed my stroll along the river, watching the muggles and their furry friends. A lovely little series of caches, well concealed and good fun finds. TFTC
