Finally avenged our DNF on this cache with help from the CO. Sneaky spot to get to! TFTC
We wandered along the trail and collected the required information. Headed off to GZ after doing the calculations and spent some time working out to access GZ, a bit concerned we might end up wet but all was well when we got there.Today we set off to explore a number of parks and complete a few Ad Labs and caches as we traveled. The Japanese Gardens were a highlight where we spent quite some time exploring. W even managed a tree fishing cache. We also ventured out to the reserve at Drayton where we found some great viewpoints.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache MalDawg.**SKI Pair****
A bit of unloved here but alas we couldn't find it today. Have messaged the CO for a check on the coords and a potential check to see if it's still there
Grabbed what I thought was the info for this multi. We looked high and we looked low but no luck for us here today. Maybe next time.
Thanks anyway.

Patrol14 and I have enjoyed a day on top of the range… starting with a FTF down near Ramsay, then a few caches south of Toowoomba, a lovely lunch with Davinells in town and now a few caches before we head for home…
It’s been almost two years since I was here last and took a conversation with Davinells to work out where my error was… D was problematic…
A relatively quick find, and although the log is damp I was able to leave my mark…
Thanks MalDawg

Karicka invited me for a day of caching in Toowoomba. With the questions open to interpretation and some wildly different numbers possible, we resorted to a PAF to confirm our numbers. Thanks for placing this cache MalDawg
Had problems with D on this walk.
Rather than trial and error we did a paf.
Cache found quickly
Thank you

accompanied by Snickersallan, Davidwazza, & Bris we swooped in for a quick park’n grab. But of course a multi isn’t that type of cache usually. Off we went and acquired the data calculated the GZ & found a container
I've had a few attempts at this
My coordinates always seemed to miss
With some help from the CO
I had another go
With the right numbers, there it is!
(Thanks MalDawg. All good here. A little damp.)

Day 1 of my outback travels and the start of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. While I had a few hours to kill and wait around before I had to pick up Triple Turmoil, I headed off to Mt. Peel and around Toowoomba for some easy cache pick ups and a few DNF’s I had previously. It was nice to be out and caching around this town again. The plan was to leave this afternoon and drive a little further, to stay at Miles for the night for readiness for a bigger day tomorrow. This was all in readiness for our continuation from last year’s event and a very successful team collaboration with Willis007 and Jacs Team.
So I started with a couple of easy caches in town and then went for a walk around Mt. Peel (grabbed the new challenge cache, a trad and the whereigo). I then headed into town to spend some time looking for a Library cache that was the bugbear of my last trip, (got it this time). I then continued for a few more great caches around town. Thank you for the caches and the entertainment around here, sorry for the generic log but I got around 30 caches here. I signed the logs on all and replaced all caches as found, thank you.

Staying in Toowoomba for a few days. A lovely winter day so we headed out to find some caches of course. Wow today was hard slog for us. We must have been overthinking some of these caches. [B)] Few difficult multi's and 5 tree climbs included in our tally today.
This was a shemozzle for us. We werent convinced about our answer for 'c' but decided it was a minor number so it should be okay but 'd' well that was impossible. we came up with 2 options but they were out in the street so came up with 2 more options and headed to what we thought was the most likely and came up empty handed and with plenty of muggles about we sent an SOS to a previous finder who kindly pointed out the error of our ways. (N.B. 'd' is divisible by 2.)

Found the info and created a set of coordinates that didn’t really look right. Our gut instinct told us that the final should be in the park not the suburbs. We had another look at the number we thought was D and changed it to a more likely number. Went for a walk to the other side of the lake and quickly discovered the container tucked away safely from muggle eyes.

Not officially a dnf. Really struggled to interpret some of the questions. One letter in particular I have ended up with a 2 digit number :/ Will have to try this again one day.
After 2 failed attempts here i used a PAF option, changed one number and came back to search an area about 30 metres from where I'd been previously.
Cache found, log signed and returned as found, all good here.

After spending an hour here yesterday trying to get some correct numbers without luck I messaged the CO for some advice, nothing heard so came back for another hour today, retraced my footsteps, changed one number and came up with a possible set of coordinated but no cache found.
2 hours spent here without success so don't know if I'll be back

Even with four of us we failed to collect the correct information… with time against us we had to call it, but we’ll be back… one day…
We didn't do any working out as we did this cache other than going for a nice stroll. We are not sure if we mucked up some of the numbers or simply did not understand the questions. We always take photo's at WP's, a good practice. We sat on the last piece of equipment and fiddled with the numbers until we came up with a set of co-ords that looked good. SL TFTC
Found with on a big trip with Kittykatch and Joolay, sometimes signed as "Capital Crunchers".
Really enjoying all the different parks around Toowoomba.

Found with assistance from the CO.
What a lovely place to visit.
So cool to have made it to the Mega now to get the caches we spent months solving and other nearby caches. On our way home now via Toowoomba.
On a trip north to get to Dayboro with Kittykatch, Isopeda and Barb2e. Been lots of fun and laughs.
Signing via stamp as Capital Crunchers.

Found with mates on our Dayboro Mega trip - heading home now. Cache signed as Capital Crunchers. Had some fun finding this cache - in and out if the rain today.
Thanks for hiding this cache MalDawg

Figured out the coordinates for this last year but only went out today to look for it - all in good working order, even considering all the recent rain! Had the help of the geopuppy for this one. Thanks for the cache!
Out with OmOm on a carers day off. We had just completed a multi nearby and figured we may as well grab this one too. Well I have no idea what the hell we were doing wrong - but we counted things twice together and still managed to stuff it up.
We tried different variations to no avail. Resorted to PAF and all was right with the world - well at least it was for this cache
Lovely spot here.

We are camped at Nobby's doing a few caches on the south side of Toowoomba.
We found a variety of caches in many parks. The last thing we wanted to do before leaving Tawoomba is the AL.
Thanks for placing this amazing series

Another day of caching with geofriends and attending an event as well. Stopped to gather info needed to find this cache but numbers we got didn't seem to put us in a likely spot. Tried all combinations but not right. PAF who set us straight with the right coords. Off to GZ were we found the cache. SL then returned as found.

Visiting Toowoomba with geo friends for an event and picking up a few caches whilst driving around the area. This multi was a tad easier than #2 but still enjoyable to do and the bonus of the cache not being too far away for a quick find by our group.

Out with geocaching friends picking up caches after the event today.
Thanks for the adventures. Needed a little help from a friend. Questions were not very clear with multi alternatives.

Came to the realisation today that I was still two days short of fulfilling the December souvenir offering and I was quickly running out of days. The youngest Esky Boy was keen to get out of the house so we headed here in the cool of the late afternoon. Made short work of the cache and then the boy amused himself with "wabbit hunting" - seeing how close he could get to - a couple of hares we spotted. TFTC MalDawg
This cache has been sitting far too close to home for far too long. Today was a good day for a walk to pick it up. With numbers collected I didn’t think it was quiet right so I sent off a plea for help and was shown the error in my way. Now at GZ it wasn’t too long before it was found. TFTC MalDawg
I have clocked up some kilometers over the past few weeks and this trip had to happen. When you live in the south Burnett and required to attend the Toowoomba base for a specialist follow up then move to an area away from the catchment of the Toowoomba Base much easier to drive back then join the Que again at a new hospital. What a muck up we made of this. Eventually had a set of numbers and the prize. TFTC MalDawg
Found on our 2019 mega trip from NSW to QLD and back with Roostaman.

**# 25592** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld with Mrs Roosta.
A perfect Spring day for a drive down town while at Toowoomba.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.
We had some trouble with a couple of the numbers and the maths didn't look right.
Had to do a double check and found some errors, then a quick find at GZ.
Thanks for the cache MalDawg,

After a finishing up at the 2019 Rural Safari event, IolantheK and I did a "bit" of caching on our return trip to Brisbane via Toowoomba. [^]

T-Tech and I have spent the weekend in Crows Nest attending Xixau & Shenzi's Rural Safari 2019. Today we are gathering caches in the area before heading back to Brisbane this evening.
I'm a bit of a fan of multis, so we decided to tackle both of this CO's two new ones. The walk to gather the information was very leisurely, but we had some difficulty working out the numbers at a few of the WPs. After some help for #1 we felt a little more confident, but still struggled to get things sorted. A read of the FTFer's log helped with that and we wandered around to make the find. TFTC, MalDawg.

Tried this the other day but got one number wrong. With the right co ords we headed to the GZ, found the cache approx 5m from GZ. Tftc
After working our way through the exercises we soon made our move towards GZ with a rather quick find. Thanks for the multi MalDawg.
Out caching today. Gathered the required information and moved onto GZ after working the correct co-ordinates. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
After doing the other multi like this one the other day I knew what i was in for.
A short wander to gather the information and then onto the nearby final.
Thanks for the cache.

Another day out finding a cache to top up today's date.
A nice roll down the hill on my knee scooter to collect the necessary information.
GZ though, proved a little tricky.

**FTF** with G_O_Nan
With my Mum over for a short visit from kiwiland, we did the high school drop-off together then made our way in for a bit of shopping in town. I had a quick look at the App and it appeared this multi may still be unfound so we decided to stop by for a looksee. G_O_Nan tried out the exercise stations while I tried to count, and then we both tried to count, before a quick message to the CO confirmed that D is an even number. A few minutes later we were at GZ where G_O_Nan was pleasantly surprised as she has only found a few caches and they were mostly nanos and mostly haven't been logged yet, lol. Thanks for this nice little multi in a great little park, MalDawg!
