No muggles on a windy grey Sunday, yay! Great to find out where Hogarth Chocolate is ...TFTC
Clocking up a few caches on a windy grey Sunday with chRcheuse. Fun fun fun! TFTC
A nice quick find this time. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are out and about around Nelson today. A lovely day for a drive and a bit of a cache.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
Gefunden als Cache # 1864.Vielen Dank an the Seagnoid fr den Spa des Suchens, das Herfhren und das Legen und Pflegen sagt Tiggaro!
Back in our own area collecting caches for the leap day TFTC another awesome one found with aalis_01
Brought my RV to Heslops for a wheel alignment. Had my bike with me to drive back home while they worked on the vehicle. After 100 meters or so I thought, hey let's check the geocache map for this area, maybe I can pick up a few on my way. I looked back and thought: there will not be one in this industrial area right on a dead end, now will there? Well, yes there will! GZ being exactly where I just was, so funny. East find after a very short drive back, tftc!
I knew what to look for after finding one in Wellington last week!
Great hide!
Thanks a lot!

Day 3 with Supernannny and Net61 in Nelson exploring this part of the country. We stopped to check out a cool sculpture nearby as well as buying some chocolate at Hogarths, before we stopped to find this cache. A quick find here. TFTC
Quick find once I mustered up the courage to start poking around in a busy area. TFTC!
I've tried to look for this one a couple of times already but it was always too busy for a proper look. Trucks and cars first, then workers standing almost at GZ as roadworks are going on. Finally came at an early evening and it was all calm, checked a couple of wrong spots first (ugh, really cables here..), then found it.
(# 7806) A caching trip to Nelson with NZ_B, TwigNZ and YetiNZ. Day 1 of a 4 day trip interspersed with exploring and humour. A quick find.
The log was signed as NuMpTY (or NMTY) for NZ_B, Mr-mcgoo, TwigNZ, & YetiNZ. Thanks for bringing me here.

Myself, along with NZ_B, YetiNZ and Mr-mcgoo are on a caching expedition to Nelson. This is something we planned a while back and have very much been looking forward to
During our time here, all found caches were signed as NMTY (regardless of whether 2, 3 or all 4 of us hadn't found it previously), or with individual names for Challenge Caches according to whomever was claiming the find.
The 3 boys had just arrived in Nelson and picked up our hire car before heading to rendezvous with NZ_B (who had made her own way over a couple of days earlier). Whilst we were here, we decided to look for a few other caches in this area, including this one.
I'm very familiar with the CO's work on his Manawatu Rail Series, as well as other such series in Wellington and Marlborough, but I believe this is the first such find in the Nelson Series. No issues to report here, and the cache was replaced exactly as found.
Thank you for setting this one up.

Some time ago a group of us from Wellington decided that what we should do is come down to the Nelson region for a long weekend of Geocaching. So we did. With minimal specific agendas, and lots of unfound caches in the area, the goal for this four day break is exploring, having fun, and finding geocaches. Here is one we found.

Thanks to the Seagnoid for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Initially my GPS told me I parked the car on GZ. I didn’t think that was right and persevered with a idea and found the cache elsewhere extremely quickly.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache the Seagnoid.

Had my coworker laughing at me because I was taking too long to find it. They had to give me a hint haha
found with kjj162. i finally tracked this one down been here a couple of times looking but dont know how we missed it tftc
It has been a while since I last found a geocache and the lack of practice showed here. Eventually found it and dropped off the geocoin we have been meaning to return into the game. Thanks.
I used to work across the road, until the building burnt down around 12 years ago. We were upstairs in a meeting and when we came out of the meeting room there were flames and smoke outside the 1st floor window. Took ages for the fire brigade to arrive... Thanks for the cache.
#11,373. I am geocaching around Nelson today before flying back to Wellington. Headed out towards Mapua direction for a challenge cache I ran out of time to sign yesterday. Having found that one we are slowly heading back towards the city and the airport. Stopped to grab this one on the way. Have enjoyed doing the railway series in the Manawatu and Marlborough regions. Now doing some in Nelson. This one was hidden a bit differently to the previous one we did. But soon felt where it was hidden. Thanks the Seagnoid for hiding the cache here and the history of railways in this area.
Yay. Swapped one trackable for another left kiwinomad hope he enjoys further travel
A nice and easy first find for the day out bike riding with the little people in our crew. TFTC
Out with DragonDefender picking up some Wonders for him and new caches for me.
Checked the obvious and there it was.
Cheers for the cache.

Today I needed a foursie calendar day and so this one was ideal for an early morning bike ride (6 am) to locate and log before anyone was about. Fortunately, it was a quick find, log and replace as just as I was riding away a vehicle turns up. Could have been awkward a minute earlier. TFTC Seagnoid.
Another quick find tonight, thanks.

While being here for business I could find this one. Thanks for the Owner for placing and maintaining this cache.Ash
Tregearp had been caching solo and collected this one previously, but I persuaded to swing by today so I could pick it up too on our way into town. The local trucker was doing some maintenance within 5m of the cache. No way that was going to work so relegated to on the way back home later in the day. This time all quiet and a quick retrieve, log, and replace. All in good order. Thanks Seagnoid for another in this series.
Clever alright! Certainly a few things in the area to 'stick' it to. All in good order. Bone dry! TFTC
Definitely no cyclists there. ️ Thank you the Seagnoid for this cache.

In the South Island from Tauranga on a six week holiday and now following the PWGT. I have now completed the Geo tour and now have time to grab a few others on our travels. Waiting for wheel alignment nearby so wandered around to make the quick find.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Zara is busy so Im walking to Richmond and back. Had this one my radar but took the senic route and realised this is on the other side of the road. OK leave it for the return journey. Yes I remember visiting here, working out where to place this. Now Im back to get it tagged. Now to get back to Zara. My hip is really playing up so Im hobling along the last few hundred meters. Cheers. Great seeing Zara again. A quiet afternoon holed up in the back of Richmond resting and reading.
Zara and I are in Nelson for a few days. Toby stays behind this trip as hes back at the Motor Drs. Zaras booked for a heater - which was a 'no go' in the end. Some caching and and event at Tahuna. And check out some Op shops. So lets go see what we can find.

4 caches on the way out of town, and I took a detour toward this one because, well, it’s Sunday and that is when I will look least suspicious. So parked up, did a quick look for the usual feature signalling the unique hide style of most of this series, could not find it so consulted the hint, and from there it was very simple. Only person around was a lost cyclist who took a while to realise they had no access from here, then they left. I have been here before on a work day and it was very much like being in a goldfish bowl with eyes on you everywhere. Glad I left for today. TFTC Seagnoid.
A good day today, the highlight being the event at Hoddy Park, which was looking really good. I got a few other caches on the way home as well.

Last cache of the day on my after work bike ride and noted by the local signage that bikes are not very welcome in this area but assume that a number of people get lost on the rail trail and don't take the left turn stumbling into a pretty busy industrial area. Waited till a few muggles cleared the area then looked where I thought it might be and sure enough. A quick log, thanks the Seagnoid for another station ticked off.
Nice n easy park n grab, not to many muggles about today so was nice n easy for Mr 12, TFTC
