Fun cache. Kids loved it, so did I part of our road trip to Levin to visit friends
(10226) Up the coast to attend an event in Levin. Got a few other caches as well. Was here with a group but since I was the only non finder the group enjoyed watching me search for the cache. With a tiny bit I help I soon located the goodies. Thanks TwigNZ for taking the time to place the cache and for bringing me here.
Omg the hint on how to replace facing the music Love it. Got majorly muggled by one of the business vehicles pulling in - no way to look nonchalant leaning up against the host while filling out the log Thankfully they gave me a massive thumbs up lol Fun cache that gets a fave from me but sorry to the little critter for laughing at it when I found it Mihi ki a koe, TwigNZ, mo te keteroki #279
Fun one for the kids while on our travels to ohakune! Thanks to the lovely lady for the helping hint.
Found with Rebel98, RustyNZ, and EtherDad.Had a lot of fun climbing all over it till Dad finally pointed me to the place and I could grab it
More fun, rolling along, finding cool caches with rustynz, Etherlord clan and EtherMissWent for a ride, but it would not move!
Another well thought out cache With rebel98 Etherlord clan and Etheridge, taking a slow route to the next Canonball event. Thanks for the hide and a bit of fun around Levin
On the way home with Kimmy+co from Whanganui to Wellington have been flattened by some of the caches we have seen this weekend.
Tftc easy find out with geeves90. One the way home to Wellington from a long weekend of exploring
We found it with Crystal Fairy and The Wandering Dragons. It was really sweet, thank you.
Cache # 5,111 - Last group one today. Logged as ***ackTW*** (Crystal Fairy, Karinca Kiz, The Wandering Dragons). Terrific hide, and well worth a favourite point. TNLNSL. Thanks for a great cache!
Last cache of the day. Logged as ackTW (Crystal Fairy, Karinca Kiz, The Wandering Dragons). Have been here before and had a DNF.. Today with 10 sets of eyes it took all of 30 seconds to find the cache. Enjoyed the container. Dropped a TB. Logged our names and headed back for home. Thanks for the cache.
I can imagine this flattening you out if you got in it's way....Fav.point here for the hide.....Day 4 of our caching trip to Palmerston North area with HeMaLuDy, UncleSamNZ, Keylev, and myself, signing in as SEAC or TEAM SEAC to save logbook space. A big thanks to all the CO's for cache placement and maintenance, making this trip the success that it was.TFTC.
A small group of us from Team SEAC consisting of Keylev, Stik-A-Crane, Uncle Sam and ourselves had come down from Auckland to spend the long weekend caching in the Manawatu area. The plan was to get as many as possible. Along the way we had some great adventures, many laughs, met some interesting people and found a wide selection of caches. Signed SEAC to save space on the log. TFTC.This was day 4 of our trip and we headed South from our accommodation caching down SH 1 to Levin and back through the towns to Himatangi.A nice quick find here. FP given - love Roadrunner cartoons!
Day #4 of the Team SEAC extra long weekend little road trip for Labour Weekend.Well this was cool! Thankfully with 5 of us it didn't take too long to locate. Thanks for the cache and thanks to the owner for letting you place it for us to enjoy! Deserves a fav point.
Awesome cache. Gets a fav point from me. Small group of caching buddies drove down from Auckland for the long weekend, and headed for Palmerston North area. Sorry for the generic posts, but we had so many caches to find.Had a great time, with so many laughs. Thanks to all the Cache owners who placed the caches. This was day 3 of our trip. All logs signed "SEAC" or "Team Seac"
Took a long while, but finally found it, very cheeky cache and even more creative!
This was an absolute hoot. Defiantly getting a FAV. Very cool hide - no more to say. Thanks TwigNZ.
I am heading up to Palmerston North with TwigNZ for a rather important birthday party (no, not mine!). Today is a size "other" dot-day for me, so I asked Twig if we could stop here, not realising it is actually Twig's cache!I had a rough idea of where the cache was hidden, having heard a few stories about it, but it still took me a few minutes to find. Maybe I should have read the cache page first. Yeah, I'll give this a favourite too!Just one "other" dot-day remaining! Woohoo!!
Saw where it was almost right away but didn't investigate as we thought it was not related...5 minutes later we ended up where we started Thanks for the cache!
Out around Levin with rattll, after the Ready, Set, Go event. I'd looked for this one previously, and failed to find it. Rattll pointed me in the right direction today, and the find was made. Not sure how I missed it last time. All good in the container, replaced as found. Tftc!
**taybee** is caching again with **taybee nz** for the dayQuick find here today All in good order, sign log book as **taybee** or **tb** or ( **TNZ** or **taybee/nz** as *taybee and taybee nz joint sign* ) TFTC Cache was found at **16/09/2023 @ 16:51:00**
EXTREMELY FUNNY CACHE. the soft toy and the way to get the cache is is just weird. 13 find. Pretty fun
Haven’t gone for a cache in a while, so we decided to go out with my cousins and take a walk up the Kohitere walkway, and find a couple caches along the way. They are the ones that first introduced us to geocaching back in 2019. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned because the track was closed. We changed the plan and we decided to clean up some other caches in Levin.
Sneaky hide! Thanks for this interesting cache! Gets a FP.
I wrote in the log and placed the cache back as found. TFTCSL, Thanks TwigNZ for this Traditional cache.

After locating Rail Mail, we decided to go for a few other caches with high fave points.
When we arrived at GZ, our initial reaction was ‘how cute’, followed by ‘oh no, how long will it take us to find the cache?!’ (having had bad experiences before with small magnetic containers on large metal objects). Fortunately it was a quick find, not what we expected at all, and Mrs nzk had to get over the shock before signing the log book. A fave for the creativity and (black?) humour.

Up this way for the annual Cannonball Run GC event. Took the opportunity to look for some high faves with TrinityNZ, this one didn't disappoint - very funny! A fave from me. TFTC TwigNZ
After a fun Cannonball Run event, the CO released four new caches. JustLookingOO and I teamed up to look for two of them, and then decided to track down a few others before attending the dinner event.
We visited this one as it had a lot of favourite points (and also happened to be on the way to the supermarket). We looked and looked but just couldn’t find it, and couldn’t work out the hint, so I decided to try and get another hint from the CO. Aha! Found it! We had looked there just not a quite the right angle.
I’ve never seen a container quite like this before. Love it! FP from me

This took quite a while but eventually Mr CD put his hand on something different and there was the cache! TFTC
Summer Geocaching Road Trip - Day 2 - Picton to Wellington to Palmerston North - witha slight detour to Levin. It's been a while since I've been off on a road trip and this one has been on the cards for quite a while. I plan to visit some parts of the country where I've done very little caching before and hope to complete the qualification for a challenge cache in Nelson. This one took me a lot longer to find than it should have done. When I did finally spot what I needed to see, it all made perfect sense. Thanks for the fun and TFTC, Biggles.
Ms_KR made the find after a fairly quick search. Fav Point from me. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Heading home and we spent a couple of nights in Levin. Much drier conditions than the last couple of days, but still a few showers.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Hunted all over feeling confused till I knew that was it, hoped it wasn't, braved up and was pleasantly surprised. A favorite point for making me laugh. Thanks TwigNZ
As we were only passing through Levin, Mr B carefully researched which caches we were going to attempt and this was the first. Before we arrived Mr B was confident of what the cache would be but on arrival at GZ he realised it would not be the case. Some searching, followed by more searching before we resorted to the clue. Hmmmm … not much help to us. More searching .. and no helpful person popping out from any nearby buildings and still no luck. We were pretty sure we knew what we were looking for but just couldn’t spot it. Mrs B gave up and returned to the car but Mr B persevered and finally had success … pretty sure we had already looked there but obviously not. Definitely enjoyable (after we found it!) Fave point from us.
Out on a Pre Christmas adventure with Hamish.D
Spent a while trying to find this one just as it was starting to rain, looking at everything and seeing nothing, a friendly local popped out of a nearby building and lent us a hint! Awesome hide. TFTC

Out today with [JordanD125](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d447c422-3a9c-47f1-8ab9-9610b3913050) doing a bit of last minute Christmas shopping for geocache finds.
Cache #5 for today and after we both performed quite a comprehensive search of all the wrong places and with the rain starting to come down, we were just starting to position our tails between our legs when a very friendly "half-muggle" emerged from a nearby building and kindly gave us a nudge in the right direction... It was quite easy after that. lol

Wasn't really sure what I was letting myself in for here and checked the sign for no reason whatsoever before widening (opening my eyes) search and spotted a potential host. A fumble and feel had me withdrawing my hand quickly which led me to reminisce of a visit to a rattll cache under Whangaehu Hall/church. Nice one, added my name to the list and headed onwards. Engine on the host was quite sooty I thought.
Although it's been a long 3-day weekend for most today is the first real chance I've had to nip out for some caching action. I was on 24 hour duty from Saturday til Sunday morning and as soon as I got home yesterday I was straight into tidying the section and gardening chores. Off out before 7 this morning and back home just after 1.30 pm so some time for a few finds. 22 today and some goodies in there including the (almost) pensioner cache D.U.N.E down at Waikawa Beach. Thanks to all COs for their hides.

Grabbing a couple of caches before an event nearby. We were searching around for several minutes, pulling this, prodding that, then Junior saw it. Brilliant! Favourite point from us.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I usually do a big maintenance run around this time of year, and so it was that I checked up on this cache today.
All fine here.

Very cool find! Bit nervous grabbing anything fluffy in case it's soaked but it was in good condition in its hiding spot cache in good condition

Down in Levin for the second round of training at my customer. This was the evening shift meaning I had all morning to drive around and do some caching. The weather even played ball and it didn't rain so managed to stay dry.
Awesome themed cache and loved the camo. Fav point awarded!!!

Nice hide. Out with KTG at the moment doing a bit of a road tour. Found this one after a little bit of searching. TFTC
Stopped in with with in Levin for the day. Took a couple of minutes hunting, but we enjoyed a chuckle about the container when we found it. TFTC. KTG
In between geocaching events, we jumped in the car and this is one I could not find previously, so we stopped here and I tried again, bumped into Pants 2406 while here, found quickly this time without the rain, tftc TwigNZ
We approached with some trepidation as hides on these sort of features can be an absolute mission. Paddle chick spotted something from where she was looking and I extracted it from where I was. Then we both have a good laugh - very funny! Have a favourite - I seem to be giving out quite a few on your caches in the last couple of days.. TFTC # 18,105
I spotted something but Isis58 was in a better position to retrieve it. Not what I was expecting but we had a good laugh. Thanks for placing TwigNZ

I was really sad to see my favourite hide disappear, but at long last I have created a new "container" for this hide.
So it's all up and running again for you to find and enjoy ??

After Twig's Cannonball Run 2 event, Etherlord and I, with 2 GeoKids in tow, decided to nab some caches around Levin before heading back to base camp.
EL had already found this cache but felt it was worthy of a stop off for me. He was right!
The hint didn't really make a lot of sense for me, so EL gave me some subtle hints towards the right area. Definitely a favourite point here! Thanks TwigNZ! This was a great cache to find.

Time is a precious commodity, and never more so than when life demands so much of yours...
This one has taken more time than it should to get around to replacing, mostly because the cache is not a simple container.
But with my Cannonball Run events weekend coming up in 3 weeks time, rest assured that this cache (which is one one of my personal favourites) will be up and running again in time for it

It's been a bit of a frenetic last couple of months, but I am getting a break over xmas and new years so will be getting this one back up and running again soon.
I've just visited GZ after the last Log (DNF) and can't find it where it is supposed to be.
Investigatios are ongoing.

Searched and searched but alas found nothing. After a bunch more caches we ran into a local who gave us a hint, but we didn't get a chance to go find it afterwards. On list for next time..
Easy find as the poor wee thing was on the ground. Have placed back how we assume it should go. Cool cache and a fav from us
Thanks for placing the cache TwigNZ.

This made me laugh! Had a look around and read some of the other finds and then it clicked I looked and found something there, sure enough I got it!! This is getting a like from me!
11.00am. Second visit here. Soon found it this time. Could not write on the log, there looks like a diesel spill and the log is soaked in it.
Thank You David

SkyCraneKid (formally known as EtherMaster) and I are heading on a boy's roadtrip to TwigNZ's " On your marks, get set, GO! 3" Meet&Greet event at Ohau.
This one was on the way and SCK spent a **lot** of time playing on the host while I searched.
I loved the cache, and he loved the play. He also loved that he could make it pee
He found that the steering wheel is connected to a manual hydraulic pump, and that it still has oil in it, and that the hose connected to the steering piston has sprung a leak.
Ergo, turning the steering wheel one way causes oil to spurt out of the hose and out the bottom
I had promised a play at a park during the day (in fact it was one of the selling points for him coming), but after finding this cache, he wanted to come back here instead of going to a park!
After attending the event and finding a few more caches, I rewarded him with a return visit.
When signing the log, I was left with oily fingers as the 'bag' was fairly *moist* with some sort of liquid?
Thanks for bringing us here
