Went to where both phone and GPS said, and around the area where others posted photos, but still did not find today
I made it to Townsville. 18 days on my bicycle cycling over 1850km from Toowoomba to get to Townsville for the Mega Event. Another 3 days, and 380km later I am departing Fishery Falls to continue my way North to Cairns.
I am finding a few caches along the way as I go. A good excuse to get off of the bike for a moment or two. I phone coords were 14m out.
Now to continue North on the bike.

Gps was out by about 10m. Thankfully my geokid didn't give up.. and we found the prize
I did not find anything but I did find the place it was pretty far but I still got there but never found anything will it be in a container
Feeling a little disappointed with Cairns Geocaches at the moment. Not sure if they've been muggled or if I'm cache blind.
Quick rest stop, didn’t find it today as co-ordinates were a bit confused and we didn’t have too long to search.
Found it with Walter on our Geocache day out. First of our Monkey caches. Thank you for the cache.

I went on a week long trip to Cairns to escape the Canberra region and do a little diving and some exploration with caching to keep me busy. The warm weather was refreshing after the Canberra winter. As usual after flying up there was lots of walking but it was great to be out. Day 9. After my second boat trip and some amazing diving I had another two days to explore. Today I went up the Giles range to Atherton. A nice dry day today and some good caches today.

First find of the day with the geo-son while we head out in this rainy Sunday to complete the 7 Wonders.

Well hidden.
The tyre is hidden there until Christmas time when they pull it out to put on the side of the road for festive decorations.

Quick find near a curious feature, signed and replaced avoiding the green ants, thanks for the cache.
Came looking at night time for this but was to scared so came again In the day and found.
The green ants have taken over the cache. Carefully removed them to access the log for signing.

Have driven past on numerous occasions, but have never noticed the tyre previously. Followed your directions and parked a short distance from the GZ.

We went to GZ, according to our GPS, and found not a thing, so we do what all good geocachers do, you spread look where you would hide a cache and if still nothing you spread out in a circle until you find the cache or give up and log a DNF. We ended up using the last method to find this cache. SL TFTC
Frustration plus. Logged caches last night, so I thought, only to discover something went awry and I have to relog all my GC caches.
Today I had borrowed my granddaughter's zippy little car so that I could grab some smilies. This was a quick find after lunch and the log now bears my name. Most of the caches I found this afternoon were yours Monkeymann007, so thank you for the series. I really enjoyed getting out on the back roads.

Nice hide spot and few minutes find this cache. Fav point and got signed & returned same place TFTC
An ideal spot to stop if you are tyred after the drive 
I wandered into GZ,
keeping an eye out for those pesky green ants !! [:o]
And spent several minutes looking.

Another Monkey cache quickly found. I was a bit surprised as it had been here for a while .
Coordinates are spot on and I'm guessing that the tyres, CD,s and ribbon are some kind of memorial.
