We found it after lifting my brother into many trees we read the hint and found it right away tftc

Team Autumn out for a swim at a local waterhole and stopped for this cache on the way. The GPS was not helpful at all so this took us longer than it should have. Eventually we just wandered around looking up and stumbled across the cache. TFTC.

A quick detour from our nearby camping spot on the way home and we had this one in the bag in less than 5 minutes. TFTC

Walked in to GZ and then realised that I could have taken another approach!.
Spotted that silver snitch eventually. It was rather good at hiding.
Then I decided to use some Hogwarts magic with my newly acquired wooden wand. It was a first attempt at the Levitation Charm - reverso.
With the flick of my wand and a stretch I had that silver devil in my hands. What an excellent test of my magical skills, wand control and patience.
Thanks for the fun here anikano. magic is wonderful. A FP for the fun

Hard find!

With one of the young bunny's just finishing the first book in the series, we thought it was appropriate to head out here and get the cache. No issues with the track in today and after humming a few bars of 'white men can't jump' we managed to get the cache. A slightly ominous sculpture about 30m away was keeping watch today. Very curious. TFTC anikano.

Three year old cracked it and had to leave before finding cache. Must be well hidden indeed! Found this guy.

After a few minutes of looking around I was able to spot the sneaky hide and after a few more minutes of pondering I was able to get it down on my own thanks for bringing me here

Suscoe visited this location on Sunday for a little trip out to the west.
Sorted out the required activity without too much trouble.
The road in was reasonable, a couple of puddles but the locals are creating tracks along the edge of the puddles. til we got near to GZ and then it was a tad deep to proceed after the recent bogging and backing out. The level has gone down a bit since the Jacko visit.
Log signed and all made good.
Thanks to anikano for this hide.
Gryffindor is our house of choice.

Out for a bit of an explore with Aysen in the Inverleigh area. I was a little short on teamwork however had great company. Hide took few minutes to spot then jumped and pulled with my injured arm got bogged heading out, however unbelievably was able to reverse out! Cool concept and a FP from me

Another amazing day in Victoria's south west - 7am-7pm, Trads, Multii's, Mystrery's and of course the "4 Months to the BIG one in St Arnaud" Event in Camperdown, where we were reunited with friends of long standing and met a number of folk, happily matching a pseudonym to the real people.
Our first challenge for the day - those quidditch skills came in very handy!

Thanks to 'anikano (F=330 H=8)' for adding this cache to our gameboard.

With BFMC wanting to grab this one to finish up his cache a day streak we arrange to meet so we could get this one done using team work. We decided to leave my car in Murgheboluc and continue on in his much lighter vehicle. BFMC's little car made it all the way to GZ with out any trouble and we were soon looking for the cache. BFMC spotted the little guy nd we were soon signing the log book.

Thank you anikano for the cache and the series

Found on Friday 28 June 2019 at 11:30:48

After missing out on FTF here by about 40 mins the other day, sims_family and I decided to head out here today to visit this new one. I also picked up some unloved and a JASMER month on a couple of nearby caches. A fitting way to end my find streak at 404 days (there’s subtle nerd joke in that for those who pick it up). Looking forward to a day off tomorrow

Got the job done fairly easily at GZ, but nice to get it done in the intended manner. A lovely winter day to be exploring the area. We were able to drive to GZ in Gunther the GeoGolf without too much drama, mightve been a different story a couple of weeks ago though.

Thanks anikano for placing this Micro Traditional - this is find 1191 for BFMC

Had a drive past on the way home from work to see what might be needed. As it turned out just a little bit of bush magic had this cache in hand by myself. Took longer to spot it than to grab it.
The road is fairly solid, some large puddles but you can drive around them

The Hogwarts challenge for us was to help the Co with this placement , finding the correct tree that would enable team work to be a requirement to access the cache. As we looked around the Inverleigh Reserve we found a very bizarre object . Hopefully other finders of this cache can help identify this man made object.....or was it a pre-made Sorting Hat???
Thanks anikano for the Hufflepuff reward and letting us be a part of the Potterhead magic as beta testers.
Our house of choice is Gryffindor of coarse as we want to share in the Potter bravery and determination.

Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin JFTF with Na'wal Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Being the first day of my holidays, I wanted to start the week of with a bang. So a day of caching was planned with Na'wal. Waking up early to a thick fog, we made sure to dress warmly. It wasn't until about lunchtime that the fog finally cleared to reveal a beautiful sunny day. What a day it turned out to be. There was climbing, tunnel exploring, wading and even some kayaking. A very satisfying day indeed, with some very rewarding finds added to our tally.

After a full morning and afternoon of caching, we assumed this newly published hide would have been snapped up, seeing as it was published around 4 hours earlier. After finishing up on the Barwon river, we discussed if we should go for it. " Why not" we said, so off we headed to Inverleigh. The drive to gz was great, with plenty of large water holes to drive through. I'm glad we own 4wd's, as some of the holes were quite deep and muddy.

Once we exited the cars, the search was on. Na'wal was using his phone to find gz and the first tree we searched just didn't look right. After I grabbed the GPSr from the car, that took us to a different tree not far away and the hide was spotted straight away. Now for a bit of team work, with 2 pairs of arms working together, we soon had the logbook. Which turned out to be blank, for a very rare [FTF] for me. An automatic fave point is given here, as I always bestoe one for a FTF.
This is a great concept, getting teams to work together to claim the cache. TFTC anikano Big Grin

[^] Big Grin **Joint First to Find [FTF] with DAB** Big Grin [^]

With DAB having some time off and I having a RDO today, we joined forces to make a day of it in and around Geelong. We had planned many things today including tree climbs, ladder climbs, kayaking and general geocaching fun. It was freezing for most of the morning with fog around until late morning. But as always it was a great day out Smile

We were well down the coast when this one came live, looking out for Russians at Queenscliff. We never really ever thought we would get the FTF as they always seem to go to the same few people very quickly around this region. So after our fun on our Kayak's on the Barwon, this one was still unfound so we made our way. Some fun on a few water filled potholes getting our 4WD's dirty and pulling up here to look for the cache. We saw some weird looking concrete structure where we parked the geo wheels. But we had more important things to do, find this cache. It took the GPSr to get us in the right place and with helping each other, the cache was located thanks to DAB's eagle eye. Afterwards we decided to go the long way out to have some for offroad fun getting the cars dirty.
