We continued today our tour of Queensland and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to coral.sea.cat for the generation of this nice cache Stopping Bay #1 North (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. Today was all about efficiency as i embarked on a park and grab drive-by cache adventure along the power trail. The caches were lined up, waiting for eager geocachers like me to log my find. I stopped by this cache as part of a power trail adventure, and it was a quick and easy find. The cache was exactly where I expected it to be, thanks to the accurate coordinates. Thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache along the trail. It's a great addition to the power trail and made for a convenient stop on our geocaching journey.

Many thanks for your cache placement which allowed us to achieve or goals today.

Day 3 of the Reflection Road Trip started with light drizzly showers at Monto and ended with a downpour in Mt Morgan. There was no MTB riding today, just a mix of some nice township based caches, some historical sites, and my favourite drive bys. Maybe not.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 127. Gladstone to Dingo via Biloela and Dululu. I seemed to have chosen an unbalanced day with over 300 km to do, based on my last few days of travel, I should have stopped some where along the way and Biloela would have been a nice place to stop. I had a look around while doing a multi. Dululu was much smaller, but there was a food van at the van park that looked like a bit of an adventure. I stopped in Dingo and walked over to the pub for sinner and then slept to the dulcet sound of coal trains every 30mins or so.

As I headed north again to get onto th Emerald road, I stopped at a few rest areas, except one that was in a roadwork zone.

Thanks for the cache coral.sea.cat

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth.

Day 10 was a drive from Emerald to Biloela collecting caches along our journey to break up the drive. All caches were found in good condition unless otherwise mentioned. Lots of interesting things seen along the way and some wildlife thrown in for good measure.

Thanks to all the CO’s for the placements and keeping this hobby alive.

We decided to spend an extra night in Rocky and try our luck at the Cry series and then finish off the CQ Adventure before heading for a couple of earth caches in a bit of a loop and anything else that popped up on the screen.

This was a nice little series along here that we thought we would give a go and as we wouldn't be coming back this way we did both north and south on our south bound trip. This is a nice simple idea to break up the drive and grab a few smilies along the way. We didn't think that we were going to get #2 South as there were road works traffic lights but happily it was just before the traffic lights that were already red so we stopped and Diane jumped out and was able to locate the cache and sign the log and get back in the car before the lights turned green so we continued on merrily.

Thanks coral sea cat for a fun little series.

Day 4 of a road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today it was a drive from Mundubbera to Emerald.....just over 600klms for today.

We stopped along the way for a few selected caches to help fill the calendar and for a chance to get out of the car. Lots of different caches found, the majority without issues. A few more rain clouds appeared as the day went on, however that has almost become the norm. Some great scenery, so the decision to drive up has certainly been worth while.

Thanks to all caches owners for their cache placements. Most logs were signed SdL / L Lion.

#13586 - 11:35:00 AM; Day four of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending the night in Mundubbera (after discovering Eidsvold was pretty much closed at 18:00), we collected a couple of the local caches before heading north for Emerald, via Eidsvold, Mulgildie, Monto, Thangool, Biloela, Dululu, Duaringa, Dingo, Bluff, Blackwater and Comet, caching along the way. We continued to add counties to our caching maps as well. All caches were found in good order unless otherwise noted in the logs. All logs were signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs [:o)] TFTC coral.sea.cat Smile

Just the facts mam.
3 Ancient wonders to go to complete the set and the stops along the road in this section will give them to us.
Shiney.
Now all we have to do is convince the fella driving the really wide load towing a trailer with a harvesting implement that we aren't playing around with him as we pass him for the nth time only to pull up just ahead of him as we dive in and out of the rest stops chasing the caches here.
Little to no internet.
The GPS jumps around a lot and on two of these is really out, but have faith, they are as described in the hints.
South 2 and 3, North 1 and 2 done.
Logs signed. No snakes found, tho at one point I levitated as the stick I stood on sailed up to hit me in the back of the calve. Did I scream like a girl? I may have.

**Found Wednesday 05-January-2022 at 11:30 Smiley #1660**

Annual Christmas pilgramage for the family. Was destined for Dubbo but for the third time we've tried, COVID-19 has prevented border crossings or made them too unpredictable. But hey, there's always someone else in a worse predicament then our family holiday being shifted around.

Ended up driving the Australian Country Way from Toowoomba to Rocky, then down the coast back home again. Not a drop of rain until we ran into Ex TC Seth, who apparently didn't socialise well. Got stuck in Tiaro for the night, before making the made dash back to Gympie once the way was cleared. We didn't get many caches on the way, there was too many to justify stopping at every single one, but we did find ones at cool spots we were stopping at anyway

Thanks for the reason to stop . Pulled up and there was already a car here, had to wait for him to finish his phone call before deciding to leave so I could go jumping in the bushes Big Grin

All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.

Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **coral.sea.cat** Big Grin

After camping overnight in Biloela I headed north today and stopped to grab some caches allong the way. No problems finding the caches and once the logs were signed all were returned as found.

If a cache needed attention that was done too.

Thanks to the CO's for placing these cache for me and others to find.

We did quite a bit of distance today with ilook4geo, mainly along the Capricorn Highway, only stopping to pick up a few random caches as we went. This was one of the ones we looked for and found after turning on to the Leichhardt Highway and then the Burnett Highway. It was an easy find, both names were added to the log, then all was put back as it had been found. Thanks go to coral.sea.cat for placing this cache.

Driving to Cairns.
Just warming the bones after a very cold Melbourne.
But surprisingly here it was colder than Melbourne. Clear skys, no wind had seen the temprature plummet to 4°C for 4 consecutive nights.
That wasn't expected.
Luckily the heater in the car was working a treat.
