We are from Jeffreys bay South Africa vissiting our son and his family. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
I went for a bit of a walk to get this one. No problems making the find, although I did find the choice of camoInterestingThanks for putting this here
Lovey bright day after yesterdays storm. Its tradition for my flat to have Sunday brunch at a cafe and then they follow along as I grab 2-3 geocaches on my way home. Thanks!
Found it with Gorby during our road trip from Auckland to Hamilton for a classic 18th Event which this time was a GIFF 2023 Festival. Thanks for a placement!
( ) A planned road trip for me and tramyard this extremely wet Saturday, but it almost never happened... this morning quite early, it was pouring with rain, so I messaged trammy to suggest we cancel the trip, however, it sort of stopped raining, a few hours later, so he messaged me back, let's just go anyway, so I got on the bus into Henderson, train to Newmarket, then train to Otahuhu whereby tramyard picked me up in his green machine. Then we were off!( ) No worries with this hide, this time this cache was found easily, tramyard parked very close to this one so we wouldn't get too wet in and out of the car.
Cache was soooo far in. Managed to get it out with a tool - didn't put back in as far. TFTC!
Damn I can see it but not reach it, will bring my magnetic stick next time, someone has pushed it in too deep.
Keylev had seen the event in Hamilton on the long weekend and asked if I was keen to join them for the cache and knock some caches off in Hamilton. Was an easy YES. After a successful FTF for before leaving Auckland we hit the road for Hamilton.
Quick easy find here.

A couple of weeks back had noticed the 18th @ 18 event being held in Hamilton on a public holiday and thought it would be a good excuse to head down for the day. We (Mr NZTravellers, NZIceman and I) started a little later than planned due to new local publications which needed the ‘patch defending’. After a quick coffee at home we set off.
Sooooo many spider webs but also a cache behind them - yay!!
Thanks for the cache.

last minute change of plans for today, that means its caching time, this was my first for today, tftc
I'm not sure urban sprawl is a good thing and when you see how close the houses are to the new expressway I am so grateful I won't ever live here.

This was another quick find, even with all the roadworks/road closures in the area. TFTC

Walked out to grab this one. Definitely windy up here today. View from the bridge is pretty maxing, even on a day when it’s not perfectly clear weather.
A nice quick find thanks. Another bridge!
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today we cruised around some of the Waikato on the way home. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

In the area, I thougth I'd grab another bridge cache. All found, although it was pushed in further than necessary. Moved a local along and then had my hands on the cache. Cheers
TFTC Biartch79, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 2 today, making this find #2334

I came down to Hamilton with my muggle wife. While she was having her hair cut, I was allowed to go out and grab a few caches. These caches along the new bypass just fit the bill. I can't wait for this new road to open. TFTC.
The Freezer Mice strike again!
Out for a quick afternoon caching mission with the kids.
Was a quick and easy find.

Starting to lose count, bridge 3 or 4 for the day. Amazing seeing the progress of the new road. Tftc
Out and about with Team Welsh - having a sisters' break in the Waikato - such fun. T4tc
Time to launch another raid into the Waikato - I'm slowly chipping away at these placements but it seems there's always more work to be done
This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, hint and a straight forward placement. Cheers Biartch79, TFTC

Another nice cache visited with woolwood9 today.
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
*Pretty quick find on a busy day hunting caches in the area, we really enjoyed the drive / walk around.*
TFTC - Fun series of caches on the new bridges.
Note: Sorry to log so late, we had been on a geocaching holiday for nearly 3 weeks and were heading home, but a bit earlier than expected so added some extra caches on outskirts of Hamilton and around Cambridge. Simply forgot to log the extra ones until now.
*Please check logs, our stamp is there.*

With a bit of time on my hands I decided to have a bit of a go around Hamilton seeing as its in the back yard and the past year had basically quelled any chance for caching related activities
thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Enjoying this bridge series, as we try to picture where the highway is going. Is that a massive sports facility over there to the SW? TFTC
Hhhmmmm... not sure why anyone would want to live this close to an expressway - but each to their own I guess. Thanks for this cache series - really enjoying picking these up.
With two sleeping kids to keep asleep in the car while hanging out in the area I thought a few simple park and grabs would be ideal to keep myself entertain.
Parked next to this cache and soon had the cache signed and replaced. Two caches found and kids still asleep! Onto the next one.

Nice easy find for a dot day. Amazing to view the new construction nearby. TFTC
Another straightforward bridge find.
Good idea for a series!
And thanks for all the info as well.

So much new building going on in Hamilton and the new road cutting a slash of destruction across the former farmland. Oh, well...TFTC.
Out and about cleaning up caches in and around Hamilton, another quick find and on to the next one
. Another day in Hamilton clearing a few new caches and clearing a couple of DNFs Great day and thanks to all the COs. Amazing seeing all the road works going on TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We stayed overnight with our Huntly friends. In the morning, we decided to take a relaxed ride home, collecting selected hides along the way.
These new expressway bridge caches are of interest. As dedicated cachers, we have followed the progress of the entire route between the Bombays and Cambridge. In fact, we have travelled on various sections multiple times, and often while out caching... Another quick find. Thanks Biartch79 and TFTC.

I ventured out after dinner and once my kids were in bed to grab this cache, the closest to home I haven't found. I decided that since I've streaked for more than 365 days the seven required for GC HQ 's latest promotion wouldn't be to much of a struggle. Container was deeper in it hiding spot than I expected so it was a little tricky to get out. Thankfully it was a quick find as it was raining. One more day to go for my souvenir.
I started work early so finished just after lunch so time to get this series of 3. Not too much traffic about and nice views of the new roading tftc. With roads closed it took longer than what I thought it would
2TF. With Horsham Downs Road closed for another bridge that is being built over the Waikato Expressway, we have become very familiar with this bridge.
Have spotted this bridge from afar when in the area training for a recent running event. Wondered how to get here without making an effort to look, but need wonder no more! Very few cars in the area when I visited. Cache found easily thanks to good coordinates. Hoping to get through the 7 days in a row needed to secure a new souvenir. SL. TFTC - Day 2 of 7...
Find number 5868. After getting a FTF on Gordonton Road I came to look for this one. Found it at 11.45 am and noted writing in FTF line. Thought about it as the hide was covered in cobwebs so could not have been disturbed this morning. Checked a little more and the writing was that of the GC. So this was {FTF} 193. Thank you for the placement.
