Muggle65 and l decided that the track was a bit too much for the hire car so we walked the 5+ km round trip. It is not a difficult walk at all and we needed a step count after hours in the car yesterday. Unfortunately the area was still smoking in places from a recent burn.Very burnt in the near vicinity but GZ escaped serious damage. Cache in good condition.Thank you for the fun
At the beginning of my caching career, GreenGecko1 laid out an agenda of caching each capital city. I'm happy to report 6 states down and only one to go.This weekend was our allocated visit time, unfortunately it arrived on the back of the recent Dunedin Mega epic.Arriving in town Thursday night at 11pm, we grabbed our hire car and set off south.Cache all good here but the area around GZ is charred. Caches signed as either Muggle65 or M65.
Hunting some more Deadly Creatures with Deefa71. This was a quick find. Tftc
Another beautiful blue sky on a winters day. Had to make the most of it and headed back out to do the Deadly Creatures / Venom series. Thanks Team Barritts for placing these series. A day in the bush on a dirt road is heaven to this country girl!
Spent way too long on this - I have no idea why? It was one of those Drrr moments

Now into our last week of camphosting at Beelu National Park and today megawat60 and I continued with the Deadly series. Took a while but got it then ran away from the Marchfly! TFTC
Out and about on the bike today to tackle the Deadly Creatures series. Most caches were found in good condition, this one took a little longer than the others, nicely hidden TFTC
Today was a day packed full of caching east of Perth with Lachlan1.77. We started at sunrise to make the most of the daylight and beautiful weather. We called in to the Chidlow event for a couple of hours and enjoyed socialising with other players.
Chwiliwr and I headed up to this area early for the Community Celebration Event at Chidlow. Once in the area we started finding some of the Deadly Series before heading to the event. I wasn't too impressed with the actual 4WD parts of the track.
This was one of the caches we found. All caches found without problems, logs signed and caches returned as found.
Thanks TeamBarrits for placing these caches for us to find.

Out and about nice and early today ahead of the event out at Chidlow. Decided to knock over the nearby Deadly series by TeamBarritts. Eventually ended up at the event, which had quite the turn out. Enjoyed a snag before attacking half of the newly published cache series. After visiting the pub for a well deserved frothy we headed out to Bakers Hill for a bite, and to attempt the Refractory cache we DNF'd at two weeks ago, but muggles made that mission a non-success. On the way back to Perth we grabbed the second half of the new series before touching a few odds and sods. Pizza on the South Perth Foreshore for dinner before calling it a night.
Ended up taking all the morning time we had to nail off the Deadly series. All were in good condition unless otherwise mentioned. Unfortunately, along the way we found many caches that looked like they'd been chucked back in the open, often not clipped up and the likes. We replaced those as best we could based on the hint provided. A great series. Cheers TeamBarritts!

I thought would finish this series off while I have he use of a 4WD and Im very glad that I did. the track has quite a lot of water erosion, so the extra height of the car was a bonus. The remaining 14 caches took me over 1 and a half hours as I had to just let the car crawl along the track. Finding the caches was the easy part a lot of them were in the open, so I replaced as per the hints. There is a lot of rejuvenation happening along the track which is good to see. Also saw a couple of Wallabies enjoying the fresh shoots. Thanks for maintaining this series TeamBarritts.
Our last chance to get some fresh air in the current situation before heading home. Given the location and last find on these one we knew social distancing would be achieved got the 2WD (well its a hire car) into most locations but also enjoyed the leg stretch. Saw some hopping friends here and there. Just nice to be on the solitude of the bush. No real problems with the hides although the phone did not have a good match with a few locations.
We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

A lovely afternoon to be out on the forest tracks; sunny but not too hot. A perfect day to tackle the rest of the Deadly Creatures series and to investigate the Powerline 4WD Track, something I've been meaning to do for years. Twenty-nine caches on the to-do list; twenty-nine caches found. Thanks TeamBarritts for setting up and maintaining these caches, they are all in top condition.
Mr OOH YEH decided to tackle all the deadly creature caches that had come out whilst he was away working. Instead of doing them in the car he used the quad to go and find them. He found it a it rough on the quad in some spots but all caches were found so he was happy. TFTC TeamBarritts
Found it. TFTC TeamBarritts. Came up here to try to complete this Deadly Creatures series. Made this my early morning walk and it’s a great walk. Quick find here

Out finding some caches With B12 on a Sunday afternoon after work. Took the wrong way to the caches to start with to find some extreme trails, chose not to attempt this and when back to other way. TFTH
2TF We have not been able to get out caching much this week due to various sporting wind ups, band gigs etc Today was the only free day we are likely to have for a while & as it was a tad cooler we decided to head for the hills. All caches found quite quickly & in good condition. Great fun on the 4WD trails. TFTC Team Barritts
Out with Cravo10 for a Sunday afternoon/evening caching jaunt. Meeting in Inglewood at 430pm and setting off towards Sawyers Valley to tackle the latest installment of the Deadly Creatures series which was released the other week.
I thought we would be able to enter from the northern end of the track, but that was more than a bit rutted for the GeoCaptiva. We tried from the other end and it was much better, had a bit of an issue with the sun shining straight into our faces but enjoyed the day with good well made caches, helpful hints and beautiful scenery.
On the way back we dropped into one nemesis cache which has been on the radar for far too long.
Managed 16 finds for the day so a good effort.
Thanks Team Barritts for the caches.
