Logs
I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Petebranchi, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia
##Cache Maintenance Required please.##This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs. The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance). If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on. When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided. If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.Thank youBalayangCommunity Reviewer -Australia
Hmmm, it is definitely not where it was hidden. I suspect the location might be too public and a muggle is deliberately removing it. Cache has not been replaced. Will need to disable and consider setting up a new one somewhere else
Nothing in any of the tree hidey holes and nothing under the table (I know where I’d have hidden it but nothing there)
Spent 30 mins searching the tree with the kids, lots of possible hidey holes but we couldn’t find anything
Great to see you back.
It is a lot quicker / easier to find when it is actually there.
Thanks.

Thanks.
No evidence of old cache remains so replaced with a new cache. Description of cache remains the same. Have moved house so a little bit further to check on it now. Happy hunting
###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Petebranchi and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Hi, looks like a few of us can't find this one, there is a heap of new mulch under the tree about a foot deep, would this make it more difficult.
Would the new mulch have covered it up.
Looks like I have not been the only one to dig the mulch away.

I was in the area today for a meeting so took the opportunity for a short riverside walk afterwards to stretch the legs, enjoy the sunshine, and grab a trio of caches Arrived at this one first, after parking the car. Area was deserted and the cache was quickly spotted as very exposed in its hidey hole. Replaced with some camo cover to keep from prying eyes. No problems here today, a nice easy find. TFTC
Daddy/daughter time with youngest Geokid who found your log. The contents of the tin are soaked, I’m afraid. Pretty spot!
TFTC.

Checked geocache today. It was still in hiding spot, but was covered under a lot of dirt, maybe after the rains. Have dug out and replaced in higher location. Happy hunting
Hi all, have replaced with a new cache. Should be a quick easy find now. Watch out for muggles and happy hunting!
No luck for me here. Had a good poke around until someone came to sit on the bench nearby.
Searched the bench, trees, bbq, gazebo, even dug around the exact coordinates with no luck
This one was relatively exposed, so I have applied a little more cover but left it in the same place. TFTC
Find 9 of 10 with 2 DNFs on a nice Swan River loop by bike.
Nice easy find here.
TFTC Petebranchi!

Yay! Another cache! Relatively easy find after a bit of poking around. TFTC!
Staying nearby, we headed.down to the Riverside for a walk this afternoon, and this cache was a reward at the end. A quick and simple find in the logical spot. Thanks Petebranchi
We headed out nice and early this morning to try and grab a few caches and get home before the forecasted high temperatures. We targeted caches that were in close proximity to each other and this one was on the list to get today. TFTC.
G’day there Petebranchi, I was in this area today and found your cache Peninsula Walk GC8BZW5. I added my name to the log book at 8:48 am on 21 March 2021. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

After an appointment in the area we headed to find these caches not too far off our route home... Dangermouse09 sneakily found this one whilst we were looking elsewhere

Having a morning out with the fam. We initially had to skip this one as there was a family playing at GZ but got it on the way back.
Thanks for the hide Petebranchi

A wet Sunday in Maryland sure beats a wet Wednesday night in Stoke (on Trent). Great cache. TFTC.
Fairly easy find once in the right spot. Pencil needs a sharpen so bring own pen. Look out for the little surprise we left
Sat down at the picnic table while I was waiting for muggles to walk past, then got distracted by a family of ducks.... had my hands on the cache in no time one the area was clear. TFTC.
It's been a while since this one has been found. I had to lay on the ground but then I saw it in its location.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Out for a morning 5k walk along the river for our daily exercise. When we had finished we had a coffee nearby and popped down to find this one afterwards.
It was a quick find and we were soon on our way home.

After some babysitting and lunch with the youngest grandson and his mum we took a little stroll along the foreshore to pick up a couple of smilies.
