Took forever to find this one. Right when I was about to keep on moving I spied the sneaky little bugger hiding in the unlikely spot. Cheers GazaCasa!Today is day four of our Hervey Bay holiday. Today I jumped in the warthog and headed to the South-eastern corner of Hervey Bay. Stopping in Wondunna, Booral, Pir'ri reserve and River Heads. After fossicking around the mangroves I headed back north and stopped for a few more on the way home to go fishing. A great, but very warm day out!Heading north on a 5-day trip to Hervey Bay with the family has allowed me to go out and cache the surrounding area. I was able to cram the tredley into the back of the warthog and travel north, stopping a few times. Once to maintain a cache, and another to find a cache. I finally set sights on my destination, Torquay. Over the course of the few days I had, I cycled the new rail trail series of geocaches, did a combined day of shelling and caching Point Vernon, took a drive through Booral and River Heads, travelled to Howard, Torbanlea, Toogoom and Dundowran. On the final day I spot cached as I made my way south, stopping in Walligan, Susan River, Beaver Rock and Owanyilla. I then fought the southbound traffic for a while, then detoured via Yengarie and through Tiaro back to the sunny coast. All things considered, a great holiday and a productive one for geocaching! a MASSIVE thank you to all the COs that I found the caches of along the way!
Out for the day caching with ToucanKB and Danielle46, signing as KTD. Thought wed hit this series of caches. Nice camouflage here. Enjoying this quieter stretch of road. Tftc
While camping in the area for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
Nice one! Poking around in all sorts of spots but found immediately with the hint haha
i had failed to locate this cache on a previous visit.this time i spent a bit longer with GPS wondering all over the place.than spotted this good hide.cache in good condition.TFTC
Having never been to Hervey Bay before, I arrived on 24th July after driving from Yass NSW (just outside of ACT). Here for a couple weeks and couldn’t miss the chance to pick up a couple of caches. It’s a great way to explore an area and go to places I may not have gone.
A quick find, log signed and replaced. Cache log and container are in good condition.
This was the last of 4 finds today. I enjoyed the drive around. Some great views of the ocean that’s for sure.
Thanks GazaCasa for setting some finds around here. I’m sure I will head out to grab a few more while I’m in town.

All caches we found were in good condition and easily enough to find, and credit goes to all the cache owners who placed these hides for our benefit.
Thanks GazaCasa for this hide.

TFTC smile 16151 out and about with miss millie geo dog on a lovely day With Snickersallan and Imbunda having a great Easter
Despite a long day (and over 125 finds) yesterday, it was another early start this morning for Seffnjarah and I. We planned to loop north this morning through Hervey bay before returning to Maryborough around lunch and then heading towards Mt Walsh in the afternoon, along the way cleaning up the last few caches in the JBF series that we missed yesterday.
had my caching eyes on here. Signed with the Bromance team stamp in the first available location in the logbook. Many thanks GazaCasa

When other family arrangement for the Easter break fell through, I was lucky to score a ride with Crookedpete for an extended weekend geocaching road trip from Brisbane to around Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Mt Walsh and surrounding areas.
After 12 hours of solid caching yesterday in Maryborough, we were out again at first light this morning. The main goal was to clean up the remaining few caches in one of the local power trails that we had not finalised yesterday before darkness fell. But first we were heading towards Hervey Bay to focus on some of the caches out there. Much better weather today as we worked our way through the various caches on our to-do list, including this one.
This one took us a bit of searching before I finally beat the eagle eyes of Crookedpete to spot this one. Seems he does better at the elevated tree caches where he far outshines me with his spotting ability.
The logbook was stamped with The Bromance team stamp (a slight liberty, with only 2 of the usual 4 members present on this trip, but we are hoping to avoid RSI with the number of caches planned on our itinerary ). TFTC

We are staying at Maryborough for a short time and to help fill in our days we are exploring using geocaching as our guide. We found all the caches that we had targeted for today bar 1 and even with a PAF we had no luck.
One of hte caches bought us to the home of the CO where we had a lovely chat about all things geocaching and we were also offered a hint for the cache that we had not found. All the caches were in good condition and the log books did not need any attention. A huge thank you to all the CO's for placing these caches for our enjoyment.

We are having a short stay in lovely Hervey Bay and had a great afternoon finding caches on our way in albeit we took a long way around. Most of the caches we found were placed by the same CO. We were lucky here and spotted this one on approach to GZ. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks GazaCasa.
Day 2 in Hervey Bay, our first full day. We decided to head back inland after working on a couple of Adventure Labs to search for some of the caches away from the coast and work our way round to River Heads.
At times it was tough going with quite a few micros in the bush. Some were in good condition and others poor, but we were reasonably successful.
Few muggles out there so that was a bonus and the scenery down at River Heads fantastic.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache GazaCasa.

TFTC! Relatively quick find, considering where I was and having a bit of an idea what to look out for, as the hint was very helpful. I believe I had looked for this one on a previous visit to Hervey Bay, but had not logged as a DNF. Anyway it’s a smiley now.
Finally found this devious with 20mins without clue due to poor coverage. That will teach me to preload.
Found while visiting friends in the Harvey Bay area for a few days. This was a quick find and the cache was OK. TFTC.
Found this one with my son Phoenix and dog Marley thanks guys for setting this one up! A great find!
We started the Bingham Trail without knowing what a Bingham was. We were just impressed that there wasn’t a single car on this road. That was until we got out and 20 cars came by at once law. I don’t know much about Murphy’s Law but that dude needs to be as far away from any policy decisions as anyone. tftc
Heading to Hervey Bay today with Selva Girls and picked up caches along the way and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Doing this trail today before heading home. It’s been a lovely few days exploring more of the countryside. Thank you for taking the time to create and hide all these caches. The effort you put in gives us the opportunity to enjoy these finds! Thank you again. ️
Found at 11.30hrs.
Out and about to get some more local caches. About time I got some more smiley faces.

27/6/21 Staying in Hervey Bay catching up with my Parents who have travelled here for a visit. I am in holidays from Mackay. Rainy weather has come in but not stopping getting some caches. TFTC SL
Having spent night #2 camped at Maryborough Showgrounds (after an exhaustive day collecting the nearby powertrail caches plus a few extras) we scoffed down a quick breakfast before bidding new friends a fare thee well, with a promise to return tonight, and headed towards Hervey Bay for a little R&R ... well, a few more cache finds that is!
The weather has been amazing, all sunshine & fresh breezes ... so far ... so we thought we would tempt fate a little further.
#14 of 42 smilies today.
Quick find, nicely placed.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Wandering towards the water with a number in mind ‘Tho the actual log will go on a Challenge Cache in Victoria (GC3R45M).
Swung into Bingham Road and worked my way thru the series. Some were easy, some were sneakier, all much appreciated in the run up to my 7k logged geocache today
Logged this on way back to Mary as muggle worker was parked here earlier. What is with the broken crockery around here

Hervey Bay Day2
With the weather being grey we decided to head towards Riverhead caching the Bingham Trail & some of the Route 57 and Booral trail & others inbetween. This proved a great way to visit the lcal area.
We discovered new housing estates & places with great views of the ocean.
Thanks for placing this amazing series GazaCasa

And after a stroll through the swamp,
the cache was near.

I left Bargara at 5am and arrived in Childers just on sunrise. Did some caching there and on the way down to the Route 57 Trail and the Bingham Trail. All good here. Apologies for the boiler plate logs. If there is any thing different I will add it to the appropriate log. The majority of the logs were signed with my YOF to save space on the paper. Where I could write youngoldfella I did. 54 finds for the day and arrived at the Urangan Motel at 1615pm. That is enough for the day. TFTC GazaCasa
I did the back end (7-14) of this trail last September and today I finally got around to doing the first 6. Quick and easy find. TFTC.

Heading to Hervey Bay for a few nights for my eldest daughters birthday. Day 1 found 2 caches, day 2 found 1 cache, day 3 found 29, day 4 found 56.
Few DNF's, and recovering from an MCL tear in my knee, there were a few I didn't even attempt, and some I shouldn't have attempted but did...and now sititng on the couch having a celebatory scotch, am certainly paying for it.
The hint didn't really make sense (unless it was an electrical insulation device) but either way, the cache was quickly found. The ceramic insulator??? was all smashed, not sure if it was meant to be intact or what. This brought the series to a after doing it in reverse, whilst I've still for the other series to go, thank you GazaCasa for the effort you've placed for this series. Please don't take my generic logs as a not caring, simply processing them through GSAK and have tried to add little notes here and there.
Thanks for the cache **GazaCasa**

I was on the way to Maryborough with the family this morning, and as luck would have it my muggle partner needed to pull over and find reception to take a phone call. I unted while he talked and found the container without too much trouble. Tftc GazaCasa
Nice to have some caches to do being based in Maryborough it is not often we get to spend a morning doing caching. We enjoyed the series very much, great variety in both the hides and containers. Good one GazaCasa, keep up the good work:) Fav point alloc.
No trouble finding 5 out of the 6 caches in this trail. Thanks for hiding GazaCasa
