Logs
I might be a bit behind in the logging but try and log my DNFs straight away and strangely this was one of them. I can’t possibly imagine and refuse to believe it isn’t there and has been muggled but after quite an exhaustive search of everything on the ground we had to leave cracking the sads. We followed the geotrail and found a great spot for a hide but there wasn’t anything there. I can only hope that we were both just searching in the wrong spot even though we both had 1m from GZ. Thanks anyway

Quick run up to Hervey Bay from Beaudesert & back in 24 hours to see the geokiddies under 8's day. Still managed time to grab a few caches in between the mad rush. This was 16 out of16.
Nice easy find but the log is very very wet. Still managed to just sign it in a space available, may not have been the latest spot but I was lucky to get a dryish spot.
Thanks for the cache **GazaCasa**

Having spent night #2 camped at Maryborough Showgrounds (after an exhaustive day collecting the nearby powertrail caches plus a few extras) we scoffed down a quick breakfast before bidding new friends a fare thee well, with a promise to return tonight, and headed towards Hervey Bay for a little R&R ... well, a few more cache finds that is!
The weather has been amazing, all sunshine & fresh breezes ... so far ... so we thought we would tempt fate a little further.
#23 of 42 smilies today.
As is normally the case I chose the wrong (or should that be 'long'? [?]) way in.
Mrs VC had opted to stay in the Geo-Beast & keep Winter the Geo-Cat company ... in truth it looked way too bushy here for her liking!
A dozen or so steps in I almost stepped on a massive specimen of northern bearded dragon who just lay there soaking up whatever sunshine & warmth was reaching it's tiny clearing.
Making my way around I continued in an arc towards GZ.
Why an arc? [?]
It was the easiest way through without causing damage to the area.
I finally found the cache after considerable side-stepping & bushbashing.
Quick find at GZ, trust the coordinates!
Made our mark & replaced as found.

TFTC! Not the wisest choice, after a shower of rain, as got a little wet, but anything to get a smiley!
Fifth day in Hervey, our second last day unfortunately, but we are having a blast, incorporating a Bush walk, and cleaning up the rest of the caches around so hopefully we can own haven’t hey.

Hervey Bay Day2
With the weather being grey we decided to head towards Riverhead caching the Bingham Trail & some of the Route 57 and Booral trail & others inbetween. This proved a great way to visit the lcal area.
We discovered new housing estates & places with great views of the ocean.
Thanks for placing this amazing series GazaCasa

I left Bargara at 5am and arrived in Childers just on sunrise. Did some caching there and on the way down to the Route 57 Trail and the Bingham Trail. All good here. Apologies for the boiler plate logs. If there is any thing different I will add it to the appropriate log. The majority of the logs were signed with my YOF to save space on the paper.
The log is damp and can still be used it is not mush or saturated. Where I could write youngoldfella I did. 54 finds for the day and arrived at the Urangan Motel at 1615pm. That is enough for the day. TFTC GazaCasa

Caching weekend with SS.
After spending most of yesterday with wet shoes, I opted not to cross the small pond between us and GZ. SS leapt the water and soon had cache in hand.

Nice to have some caches to do being based in Maryborough it is not often we get to spend a morning doing caching. We enjoyed the series very much, great variety in both the hides and containers. Good one GazaCasa, keep up the good work:) Fav point alloc.
Today our journey through Australia took us from Hervey Bay to Maryborouh. We also made a small Powertrail series. All caches were very good and could be found well. Thank you the CO leads the laying of cans.

TFTC. We are housesitting in Bundaberg and with nothing left in town we need to expand our radius. Today we decided to head out to Hervey Bay and attempt the Bingham Trail series and then find other caches as we headed back to Bundy. WE had a great day in the sunshine for a total of 27 traditional and an Earthcache. We did attempt a couple of others but got muggled out of them out of them. The caches we did find were all relatively straightforward finds.
Out today for our weekly Geo Hunt. Hervey bay today doing the Bingham Trail. Nice easy day although was getting quite hot by the end. Containers and logs all good.

***FTF*** First to find. Being new to the area, we had to try this series of caches as we are still getting to find our feet and what facilities exist for getting across to Fraser Island. What better way to find out that taking the Bingham Trail. The caches all had good coordinates and varied in size and means of placement. It was soon apparent that the cache owner was a local as some of the caches led to spots of interest that only a local would know about. Many thanks GazaSasa for placing this series of caches for our and others enjoyment. A FAV point from us for the series. Please excuse the generic log.
