Logs
This weekend, I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for cave diving. On Friday night, I drove via the Coorong rode via Kingston, Beachport, and Millicent to Glencoe. Saturday was spent cave diving near Tantanoola and Engelbrecht Cave in Mount Gambier, and then Sunday after a cave dive, I returned to Adelaide via Mount Gambier, and the wine bottle/glass geoart in Kalangadoo. I was expecting a nice weekend of sunny weather, but instead, there was wind and rain for the most part.
Today, I travelled from Mount Gambier to Adelaide, and made a few geocaching stops along the way. By mid afternoon, I had arrived at Kalangadoo, and mentally prepared myself in completing the wine bottle/glass geoart. I had prepared myself for that duration, but was still hoping that it wouldn't take as long as it did. It was then on to driving home via Naracoorte and Keith.
This geocache didn't take long to find, but unfortunately it has rusted significantly. I struggled to even open the container, so definitely due for a CO visit to perform some maintenance. It feels like from past logs that this issue has been flagged for some time. Thanks Tam and BJ for the cache placement.

We found it from the hint but there was no paper to log it so idk if we actually found it or not
Still down in the south east for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend. Just one (hundred) more!!!
( Hopefully we'll be back for the real Geoventure when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM we hit the trail again today and just found whatever came up on our map, some new, some old, all fun! The weather was definitely better today!!
Took a little force to open. Some locals drove down to check us out in the dark while we wrestled with vice grips.
They may have my reg number now!!! Nothing suss. Move on
Thanks for placing and maintaining another great cache on this corner of our map Tam and BJ

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty and wet!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear, stay on this side of the border (it was tempting...)
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun out there ! ! !

Finding it was easier than getting to the log, had to resort to using a couple of tools out of my tool box to access the sheet. Gave the thread some oil from car dipstick to help the next finder get things apart.
In the Mount to make kites with the grandie at school and thought it was a great chance to get bronze on new cache. Whoo hoo 3rd name written on the log..... Bronze it is!! Thanks for the cool cache glad I was able to get this before too much construction is started here.

These couple of caches got us to our 2,500 finds, taken us a while but that's what happens when caching is not just about pumping your smiley tally up. Always makes us giggle putting TNLN with these caches. Found the cache no problems, but we were pleased to have read the description.....we very much needed the TOTT. Re rolling the log is always a challenge all its own too, but we got there in the end.
Nice caches, thanks Tam and BJ.
Found, signed and replaced safe and sound as found.
