We have moved to the Redlands Bay area staying for a few days to catch up with the family.Today we headed out to do the NN series & others that we pass along the way.So glad it was Sunday as it was quite light with traffic.A big old fig tree which has a very clever hide close bt.A FP givenThanks for placing this cache RoddyC
All good. Very interesting little corner area here. The Wherigo is trying to give up on me but hopefully it will come good.
Arrived early for nearby event... too many folk about to have a serious look... walked about to grab nearby hides then returned later to event... with fellow cachers nearby I went off to have another hint.. walked straight to the hide I previously kicked over... slap forehead now! Tftc
Was at the event this morning and this was super close so the very short stroll was made to discover the find.
Whilst putting some faces to some names.. where we all were joined to find one's marbles.. I decided to join GullivarsTravels54 and Gem_54 to find this sucker.Quick find.. My role was purely to provide emotional support.. With cache found.. name was promptly placed on the log sheet!!Thanks RoddyC..
After being out on a jaunt around Logan today with hatzofff, visiting some cemeteries and parks, I had time for a few more of the nasty nano series this late afternoon.Again, a bit surprised here that I was able to make a find in the first spot I checked, with the GPS taking me right to the exact spot. Nice hide though and a HIPSter like that deserves a FP TFTC
At the start of the nasty nano trail we called into Woolworths to grab something for lunch. We often buy there $5 odd bowls of salad and put them in the car fridge knowing they can come out at any time. When we parked we saw a table next to the car and decided this was our opportunity. After eating healthily we discovered that the table doubles as a smokers lounge and the ground is their ash tray. I dont care what people choose to do with their life. Run your own race, just dont leave your butts for people to find after they have eaten.Ive just read what I have typed and it clear that some of the whingers at the RSL are starting to rub off on me. tftc
Out for of day of geocaching hoping to hit the 400 mark today five to go after this one. Log signed and replaced. TFTC.
Regarding our *Nasty Nanos of Underwood Road* series E-bike ride, baby Cottontail and I departed from Runcorn Plaza on Warrigal Road just after 11:45 hr, and we turned around at [The Little Things - NN#11](https://coord.info/GC8C8PW) on Rochedale Road. We cycled a total distance of 12.1 km across an elevation of 156 m, with a moving time of 1:00 hr, and elapsed time of 2:40 hr, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/11279950900). We also detoured to nearby parks and geocaches that were along the way, and overall, it was a fun adventure.During our bike ride, we stopped at this *Nast Nanos* geocache, and searched. This could have taken some time to find, but I noted something suspicious, and so the cache was a reasonably quick find despite its evil size. To my detriment, I read the hint, and I then couldn't get that musical song out of my head haha. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [RoddyC](https://coord.info/PRC80AY) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Today, baby Cottontail and I packed our bicycle, targeting the *Nasty Nanos of Underwood Road* series in Underwood and Rochedale South, aka [Ugo's Nasty Nano Twist](https://coord.info/GCABTJK).We initially detoured through Sunnybank and visited a few geocaches and playgrounds, before grabbing morning tea (coffee) at Cream House Caf in Sunnybank Hills, which was an unexpected delight with an indoor soft play area! We then parked in Runcorn Plaza, and cycled along Underwood Road starting from Warrigal Road. After Cottontail's nap, we visited a few remaining caches in the Rochedale South area before returning home for the day.
When I woke this morning and looked out the window, the weather wasnt looking overly promising for caching. I got ready and headed out non the less, with a few urban caches in mind that might keep me a little drier. Didnt take long to arrive at GZ where the cache was quickly located, the log extracted, signed and returned safely.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache to be found by likeminded individuals.Cheers
Today I spent a lovely rainy Saturday afternoon knocking over the Nasty Nano series. A great variety of hides and very well maintained caches. I had no problems at all and managed to find 15/15. Unfortunately the Wherigo was playing up and reset itself after NN6 (I went back and started again) and then again after NN13, so I gave up and will have to come back and try it again another time. I suspect that switching between apps was too much for my phone's memory capacity (which is currently overloaded with geocaching photos). The first time I stopped here today I was just starting to look around when a couple decided to come and eat their pies in the rain right at the GZ. I decided to continue with the series and come back to look again later. Of course by the time I came back it was getting busy at the nearby shops and all the smells were making me really hungry. But the GZ was clear so I went and had another look. I couldn't see anything likely to hide a nano so I expanded my search area and continued to look around. Eventually something brought me back to where I had started and I began digging around. Sure enough there was something buried there and I knew it had to be the cache. Super happy to make it 15/15 for the day! The last log roll of the day and unfortunately I tore this one a little and took the previous finders off the log, woops! Thanks again RoddyC for a great series and for all the nasty and not-so-nasty nanos!
Had a good look over this cache and called a friend who pointed out where it should be but its gone. A health check is needed to ensure its in the right spot.
Not where it should be when a friend showed up to help. Will come back when check has been done.
Despite an extensive hunt last time I attempted this cache, I simply could not locate it but today was a completely different story. As I was approaching GZ, I saw something that I needed to investigate and sure enough that was the cache. Always good to turn a frown into a smiley. Thanks RoddyC
Dont know why we couldnt find this last time as it took us no time at all today which was a lovely surprise. TFTC
A novel twist to what is usually predicable & seen often....Well done!! T4TC:-)
What a wonderful idea (we think maybe) for a series, we have a love/hate relationship with these cache container types !!!Slowly chipped away at the series over a few days at the end of each work day, and happy to report all nasty nanos have been found, logsheets tweezered out, unrolled, signed, rerolled and tightly squeezed back into place, TFTC and the series RoddyC, well done !!!
A bit different, other finders led us in the right direction. Thanks for keeping us entertained on our Sunday geodate Roddyc
Thought I was going to fail again, but read LOTS of other comments and re-read the hint and BINGO. Great camo cache.
Another hint - The camo is larger than the nano…..

Sorry to say did not find today, but what a lovely tree ( and sitting area). Will come back to tray again in a week or 2- wondering if I can get a tip from Cache Owner please?
Thanks for the placement and timely assistance. A challenge indeed. No tether surprised me. I feel this one would have eluded me and had me returning.
Yes! My first one in Australia! I am staying nearby and couldn’t find it the first time, but thankfully got a little help from the CO. Thanks for this cache!
This time last year, we set a 2022 finds goal of 300 geocaches. Three days to go. We were 52 short. A busy few days ahead.
Today was 21 by RoddyC.
Looks like we saved the best till last!

Solo outing on the southside. Ooh, that was way too easy. TFTC, TFTH, TNLNSL & TFTSF
This has changed since my find. I came to show a friend what a cache can look like. I realised the difference and made the grab to find there was nothing “attached”. I dug around a bit and found in below its hide. I cleaned it and stuck it back on then placed it carefully back. Future finders may need to dig a little if it happens again. Off to wash my hands before craft.
Not where we first expected
Was rather muddy but all good
First to sign new log

Our co-ords put us in a certain area but we couldn’t find anything there so we’ll have to return another day. TFTC RoddyC
There was something wrong with this when I found it. So I unwronged it.

Found some of cache the but not the log unfortunately. Have sent owner a message
I will be honest I am liking your creatives hides. Not always hard but well thought out! Thank you and a fav from me!
Found it but was a little worried as the log was not there. Had to search for it then it clicked.
TFTC Quick easy find today, thanks
Grateful thanks to CO for placing and maintaining the caches to entertain me on my journey.

I have just checked... and then checked again... this is the last of the NN Series that I had to find... this is a good day... now if only I could work out where I’ve gone wrong with the Whereigo...
GZ was muggle free, though I did keep an eye on the group of wayward youth across the road in the long grass... I’m not sure if they were Sharks or Jets... I didn’t like to ask... tftc... as usual with RoddyC a nicely crafted piece of camouflage...

Got a big assist from Kez in finding this one. Many thanks for the cache Mr RoddyC
The parking was at a premium here today, must be laundry day. Walked over to GZ and found nothing but took a seat to get a better a look and spotted what I had hoped I came for. Log signed and all returned. Great hide found here, TFTC RoddyC
Visited this cache today in an adventure of geocaching around Underwood today. Spent a bit of time looking before receiving a little help from companions, all of whom have been here and found the cache before. According to them it is indeed missing as a container but the log was discovered in the bark below GZ and so I signed the log, wound the little glory up and have replaced it where it belongs in a spot where it happily fits and where GZ is meant to be. Might need a container though RoddyC even though it is RiteInTheRain paper.
Cheers and happy caching!

Great spot for a cache. Last one for now have to pick grandkids up from sport. TFTC.
Another log gave us the hint we needed. Unfortunately cache may need repair.
I recall attending hatzoff's birthday event last year and passing by here between a couple of FTF opportunities. In a group of four, we spotted a cache container in place back then, but it wasn't listed on gee cee dot com. [?] We decided to add our names to the log anyway, hoping that someday we could claim a pre-published FTF. Sadly, that never came to fruition, but I wonder what the CO thought when they retrieved the container to finds names already in the log...
As NurseyJulie and I worked our way through the NN series today, I told the story and pointed to where that cache was, but was no more. I was kinda hoping thatit would be the NN cache and my name was already on the list...grumble grumble...
The coords were spot on for this cache, but both NJ and I were too focussed on the cache's namesake to stay put. Needless to say, we didn't find the cache in the area we were looking in.
Circling back around and trusting the GPS, voila, cache unveiled and names added to the log. Now that's a better outcome... [^]
Cheers RoddyC.

Gunnie69 had been here before but the cache never published. We headed to where he thought it could be placed, but to no avail. Then we checked other placed around the tree itself. Morrow of the story, trust the GPS, spot on co-ords as Gunnie honed in and spotted the object. TFTC
For a Nano, This one was also beautifully hidden. We found the exterior part although the tiny container was not attached, however we knew it had to be very close by and with a little bit of digging we soon had it in our hands.
All good here and we have returned it to it safe hiding place.
Thanks RoddyC

Final day of a trip to the Gold Coast with barb2e. Today was picking up Queens Land before doing some local ones, dropping Barb2e off and heading north to drop the car. And another fabulous day to be out and about. TFTC RoddyC

Enjoying a nice quick series of nanos on the last morning caching with Joolay in QLD. Tftc
Out today with Selva Girls on the Southside to grab a few caches. The main one for today was wherigo, of course we grab a few caches as we pass.
I found 20 caches and 5 waypoints for today. We went home when a large storm around us.
Sorry for the generic post.

Out with Brislions, finding a few caches. A WhereIGo was the main target for the day. Naturally, we found other caches along the way. I found the cache and signed the log while my caching buddy worked out the answer for the WhereIGo. TFTC
Found previously, visited on the way through doing the wherigo. Even stopped for lunch at the bakery and ate under the big fig, very pleasant.
Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Bennyboppers). Took us a while. Very clever! TFTC!
it’s 10 at night and my dumb as decided to look down the drain for it i don’t think imma sleep tonight hahhhh
I did wonder how you’d possibly hide a cache in this area.
That certainly makes sense!
As soon as I shifted thinking I spotted the suspicious object, and sure enough there’s the little nano.
It’s a quiet day around here, we even had time to admire the big Fig. It would be really lovely at night.
Now off to number 10!

Being a massive fan of Les Mis I had the tune in my head as I approached GZ. Loved the crafty container. Tftc
Finally managed to head out for some geocaching with nikid1 for the first time in ages. We've been working on some nearby jigsaw caches so decided to make this our target area for the day.
Well you think we would have learnt after the last cache not to assume.... Seems I didn't but nikid1 did & she soon had the cache in hand. Nicely constructed container & I'll put a favourite for the series on this one.

A nano and a fig tree. Oh boy. Luckily however when I concentrated on where my phone was directing me I made a quick find. TFTC RoddyC
After all the excitement of the Wherigos this morning, it was time to finish the Nasty Nano series.
As I passed here this morning gathering the Wherigo information, I was concerned as to how long this was going to take me. When I arrived at gz though, I realised there aren't that many places to look if my phone had me in the right place. And soon after I had the very well crafted nasty little cache in hand. Log signed and cache replaced as found.
Thanks RoddyC for the cache and the Nasty series.

Back to business!
Being good law abiding citizens (& not wanting to share any random bugs) we have been in isolation, unlike some .
Today, armed with plenty of sanitizer, we set out for a breath of fresh air & a few nearby caches.
Social distancing & stealth needed here.
Several muggle shoppers to & fro.
A quick find after 'taking a load off'.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
