This one took a little while, but was rewarding when we found the clever stop.TFTC
No luck locating the last replacement today so a new one has been installed in its place.Another slight variation again but possibly a step closer to the original, if my very vague recollection of it is correct - B3
Apologies - these ones slipped off the radar. We'll see if a local associate can see to them prior to other members being back in town. - B3
Cache doesnt seem to be here. Can you confirm its still there? Gone looking a few times now
With dot 558 approached this one with apprehension after not finding its mateBut after a few prices it showed us where it was hidingThanks for the cache
Went out on an early expedition with my son for the first time, we found this and the other Skye road one. So fun!
I was expecting cache blindness having not been out since early last year. But found it easily and waited for PapaGrouch and SciFiRulz to spot it. Always fun watching others flounder around no where near it haha
Found with PapaGrouch and WeRAmused. On a caching day out we stopped to find this one. Spent a while looking then WeRAmused spotted it. TFTC
Quick find. We removed the syringe & signed log for 76spoon who was here a few days ago without a pencil. Also left a trackable!
This one was harder to find. We went too far into the scrub to look but didn't need to go off the path. TFTC
Didn't realise there were DNFs! Being a super-regular passerby (less late night police harassment than Nepean Hwy lol) I can't help but check this one. It's basically where it always was. Think 'black' with the replacement container. - MC
Midnight cache maintenance wasn't really on my bingo card this month, but something compelled me to have a look on passing and by golly I couldn't find either! It's traditionally revealed itself very promptly, so I'm assuming it has departed.Rather than disabling I recycled a more generic container I had with me. So it's open for signatures but for the moment is not the kind of bespoke container it used to be! - MC
To be honest the creepy guy in the car who only got out when I did and the syringe cap very quickly made me rethink finding this one. Sorry for the DNF
With the weather clearing up this afternoon Kristysadventures and I headed out to find stuff neither of us had found so we dropped one car off and freestyled around this area. The rain gladly held off and we kept going until it started getting dark.
Kristysadventures was straight onto this one even though it blended into all the other junk hanging around.
Thanks DumberThanRocks for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

It’s raining, it’s pouring and this Cacher was snoring and couldn’t get up in the morning!
After spending several hours distracted by cyberspace, a patch of blue sky appeared and it was time to venture outside. Yay, the forecast had been updated and the rain was meant to be finished for the day and that means caching time!
A spur of the moment plan was hatched with spiffy- to target this area of unfound caches.
After a DNF at the southern end, I was dubious if we would find this cache. However it was a quick find as it is very exposed location... however given the amount of trash about it can get away with blending in the natural surrounds
thanks for the hide DumberThanRocks

New log and pencil, and measures to (hopefully) curb dreaded 'wet log' reports longer term.
Also, please don't insert the cache into moist subterranean cavities -- that doesn't seem to have been helping matters.

Needed a trad for the day and happened upon Frankston on a cold, wet, miserable morning
Honed in on GZ and soon had the cache in hand
Log absolutely saturated so stuffed it back into the bottom of the cache and hunted around in the garden beds for a drier piece of paper
Once found, new log signed and cache returned to whence it came
Many thanx to Annoying Tarbit and note to DumberThanRocks that a replacement log is needed

I had no trouble finding this cache, but the log is sopping and unsignable, so I had to resort to taking a photo as proof of find.
Looked closer and there was the bingo moment! Today I’m out and about on trusty treadles on a monster LGA mission with the project of cleaning the slate of solved puzzles in the area. Location is a nice surprise too - imagine in 10 years the growth! Somehow my pen has disappeared from the stretchy pocket so I took a pic as scritching my moniker did not work so well. Thanks for the cache and the FUN!

Thanks for the cache, not sure why we hadn’t logged cache, but walked straight up to it as it was so familiar, as we had found previously!
Found It!
After visiting the other end of the bridge, I went to this end and found this cache as well.

I had a few caches going around the bay that were on my to do list some were because they were on my Jasmer grid other were because they were on 360° from home table.
With a beautiful day AusFox; and I headed out to grab our targets and more.
This one was of particular interest for me today as it tick off a 360° degree for me on my Project GC list.
Thank you DumberThanRocks for keeping this hide alive
Sorry for the late log.

A perfect day to head out with SimsFamily and journey to the East side of the bay to grab a variety of caches with amazing weather.
This was a must do cache for SimsFamily’s 360 challenge.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Dumber Than Rocks

Another for our quest for 50! T4TC. Note: yep, there was water in the cache, but the sandwich bag has succeeded in keeping the log dry. T4TC
After parking near the south cache it was a short walk here to the north. They have done a great job with these rail trails all over Melbourne!
We actually have a lot of experience with the level crossing removal project. We used to live in Caulfield in a property that backed on to the start of the Dandenong/Cranbourne/Pakenham line Skyrail and it certainly was a (noisy) experience during construction! But the benefits to the area once completed are amazing. It's been a great initiative for local communities and commuters.

Today was a planned trip to Frankston to pick something up, turns out it was advertised but not in stock. Glad I put some caches into the GPS for the trip.
Parked mid the 2 overpass caches and went for a walk 1 then 2.
GPS was slow to settle and I walked way past. looped around and stood at GZ.
Looked at the "look at me" hiding spots to no avail, then maybe.....
Cache signed and replaced.
Thanks to Annoying Tarbit and DumberThanRocks

Today was the perfect day to find this one as there was not even one muggle about.
Geo-7yr old had the hide in hand quick smart.
We signed our names, freaked out when the vehicle went past over head and popped the cache back.

I found this cache today on my Kananook to Frankston Walk. A nice pleasant afternoon for a walk and nice to see the new level crossing bypass. Thanks from D B-A
Investigated alleged wetness upon driving past. I doubt the container has ever been 100% waterproof when the vicinity is fully drenched. The log is always in pristine condition in its bag regardless. Thoroughly dried everything else with towel and vehicular air-conditioning. So please sign the log. It's not really considered optional if you intend to log a find online! - BS
Fun find! It's a little wet on the inside but the log is still writeable, TFTC!
Found but forgot a pencil/pen to mark the log. On the trick side, but we got it eventually

In the area with Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map, perfect weather for it.
The muggles where definitely out today, especially around the sporting venues.
This is one of the caches we found and enjoyed today.

Out and about once again with Omegaman1971 for our regular weekend catch up and cache. Today we started at Seaford and cleaned up some unfound in the area.

Returned the cache after a modest repair to restore water resistance. And switched to a fresh log. - BS
Disabling to be checked on and potentially replaced.
Thanks to ThaKraken and AlexiKatty for alerting us to the current state of the cache.
