Day 16 of the road trip, and 2nd full day enjoying Gero. Main objective today was to make a start on the Observing Planes series - that big loop has been spoiling my map of these parts for too long, haha. Picked up a few other caches on the way there too, including this one. This was a tough find - so many places a micro could be. After a lot of searching I had given up and was picking my way back towards the main track when I spotted the golf ball referenced in some previous logs. And there was a small container right next to it. My GPS had me 9m from the posted coords so was lucky to make the find here! TFTC
I was in the area and decided to grab a cache, tftc! Beautiful flowers and lots of kangaroos
Interesting spot.
Took us a while to find a break on the bushes to get through.

I think we picked the perfect weather for this series. A bit of rain hardened the tracks and not too hot. Thanks for the series Team Pathfinder Sorry for the genetic log

Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder!

Found it. TFTC Team Pathfinder. Nice walk along this track. Quick find once I managed to get to GZ. The last 10m was the hardest, but then as usual, there is better a better way back. Replaced as found.
An early morning walk with the doggos, container has now been replaced with permission from CO's tftc
pug002 DNF got very scratched and bleeding but no luck, flies driving us mad. TFTC Team Pathfinder
Our 2nd find today on what has started out as a nice cool day. This area will flourish with flowers after some winter rains to be sure. Thanks TeamPathfinder. SL.
Got it this time on the third attempt. It feels like a FTF after the other two went AWL. TFTC.
Again..... This is the second DNF here. I conducted a thorough search, well at least I had a man-look. I left a golf ball in the location where I think it should have been. The GPS said 1m but I searched in a wide circle out from that spot without luck
Perhaps Ian & Sue have done something sneaky here but I don't think so

No joy here today.
Wanting a pre holiday, holiday and knowing B12 was now a lot closer to home I figured a drive was in order! Up to what could have been even warmer weather than Perth’s yet surprisingly a slightly cooler (still warm) day.
Pleasant trip and fingers crossed on my return the new geocar will finally be ready! As I will need to return this way to collect the others still available just currently I reachable caches!

I will go check this one when I get back into Geraldton in three weeks.
I dropped geo-hubby at the northern end of the reserve while I headed to #9 to start.
Not too many wildflowers around but enough to brighten the surrounding scrub. Geo-hubby had no joy locating this cache so when the series was finished we made a PAF call to get some further info. Armed with a great hint we returned, but after expanding our search like the previous visitors, we still came up empty. Hard to imagine it could get muggled so either previous finder hid it extra well or we are suffering cache blindness! Thanks Team Pathfinder

Looked around GZ for too long and decided to move on. After finding 7 others in the trail easily after that and knowing what to look for we went back to this one. Expanded our search by 10m all around (as one of the others had been out by 6m) but still no cache. It's probably there but we didn't find it, sadly.
Lovely morning walk in Geraldton. Thought we would do some caches. Thanks for the cache
Decided to finish off our last day in Geraldton going for a walk to do the wildflowers series. We parked our car near the CO,S house and had a quick chat over the fence with them then went off to collect the caches. A pleasant walk with lots of wildflowers to admire and the co-ords were really good which made finding the caches nice and easy. The last few caches were bad for ants so we quickened up the pace to get them finished. We managed to get our 16,000th find doing this series which was a milestone we were hoping to get whilst in Geraldton. Thank to the CO,s for an enjoyable series will give a fav point for the beginning and the end
Hi there Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder.
We found your cache **"Wildflower Wander #14"** today. (This makes our find count 22835).
Today we headed out to complete the "Wildflower Wander" series. We headed out down the "Ant Highway. We moved fairly quickly but Penny still managed to get bitten. [:(!] Due to the recent rains there were no animal or human tracks to follow today, although we suspect we spotted some "Mac" tracks next to the remnants of some fat bike tyres. We also found the fork in the road wasn't exactly where we expected it to be.
We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, the fresh air after the rain made the air crisp and clean.
We found 7 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in great shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Saturday, fine weather and in need of exercise. A check of the emails showed some more Wildflower Wander series had been published but it was like Ground Hog day again as Team Outnabout had already nailed them. No problems, drove over and parked at the golf club and then had a pleasant walk to #14. (Cache, not tee). Decided to do them in descending order. Not a sole around, very pleasant, birds chirping and wattle flowering everywhere. A short walk into the bush resulted in a quick find.

I suspected these would come through today when I was at work. Sure did but the work was done and I knew I could escape for an hour or so.
Had to be done.
I decided to attempt from the north and found a nice parking spot. No other vehicles once again so off I went.
Blank log on the first hide 5 minutes later and on to the next. This continued for four more hides so I was happy to claim 5/5.
Back at work in time and not missed. Hmm.
Thanks Ian&Sue. This is a great location and fun series.
